An incredible shop with an endless array of delicious options. The folks who run the place are beyond courteous and their customer service is refreshing. I was shopping for a last minute gift for a cousin who was coming to dinner — the week had served more distractions and interferences than I could manage, and this left me with two hours to shop for dinner, drinks & a christmas gift for the soon-​to-​be-​arriving familia…
Enter Lisajo & family… despite being buried by an obvious stack of special orders as well as other customers, they swooped in without a moment’s hesitation! Before I could stutter another excuse for being a hapless last minute buyer, I was taken on a trip through the store to see & SAMPLE some of the most delicious sweets I’ve ever encountered. Within 10 minutes I had an assortment of teas, treats, ornaments & other gift items assembled, and then… she…wrapped…it…up — right there, with care & trepidation. The finished product was beautifully assembled and presented and I could not believe she made time to throw it together in front of us so we wouldn’t be late for dinner.
You want to visit this place and the amazing family who run it — you just don’t know what you’re missing until you do. Drive out, train in, hop on the bike… but visit & indulge, you won’t regret it.

Such a lovely store with all sorts of sweet nibble’s. Ice cream, chocolate, candy, jellies and jams as well as fun house accessories. My experience of coming in for Teacher Appreciation Day gifts is what gives this place 4 stars. I told the owner’s mother I wanted to spend around $ 6 dollars or less on 7 gifts and she went out of her way to help me spend less. Per gift, I left spending $ 2.99 and I got them in a sweet box and individual pink bags. Sweet!

Sassy Sweets is a great shop on the main drag in Hammonton, NJ. Right across from Marcello’s which is great for lunch and wonderful pizza. Sassy Sweets has gifts, jewelry, chocolates and delicious homemade ice cream. It is a darling shop filled with goodies of all kinds. They even have creative gift baskets… Definitely worth a drop in…

Sassy Sweets is a cute little shop in Downtown Hammonton selling chocolates, gifts, and other food items. I was expecting something a little different, but was not disappointed by Sassy’s offerings.
The store is very cute inside: part girlie, part rustic, part kitschy. There is a case of chocolates and chocolate-​covered goodies, as well as a center table full of pre-​wrapped creative chocolate confections. I tried the s’mores chocolates and the champagne cordials.
I don’t know if the owner is making the chocolates from scratch. It would appear that she is, since there was no other label on the package. If she is, she’s really doing a wonderful and authentic job. The s’mores were actually marshmallow covered by chocolate, rolled in very finely crushed graham cracker. They were definitely a fun treat. I was less enthused by the champagne cordials. I love, absolutely love the taste of champagne. These cordials tasted rather… medicinal. Though I bit through half of one and bubbly, oozey champagne cream came out. So once again, thoroughly creative and authentic creations. Prices were fair as well.
It would be awesome if Sassy did some baking. Hint hint, like maybe some red velvet cupcakes!
I would definitely come back when I’m in the area for some chocolatey goodness.
