One of the worst experiences ever. Terribly dirty, terribly cold, terrible service, old terrible food!

To start off my meal, I ordered the spinach queso dip for my appetizer. So delicious. The drink that I received was the Arnold Palmer. Half lemonade, half sweet tea. Phenomenal. For my entrée, I requested the buffalo chicken sandwich from the handheld portion of the menu. Hands-down the best buffalo chicken sandwich in Hampton. No. Hampton Roads. Ruby Tuesdays is absolutely nothing compared to this location. The fries that accompanied my sandwich were golden and crispy, fried to perfection. Dessert was a match made in heaven. Molten chocolate cake topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. You’ll definitely want to lick the plate after you’re finished. The environment however, was quite loud. The group of people sitting next to us were unnecessarily loud. None of the staff bothered to ask them to quiet down, and that’s what lost them a star.

I have to say it’s been a few years since I stepped foot in this restaurant. It wasn’t a bad place to eat back then, but nothing stood out about it either. The food was just Blahhhh back then. Now fast forward to now. Decided to stop in and get a bite to eat since it seemed like everything else was just packed for some reason. So GLAD I did! The menu has changed, the atmosphere, and the waiters/waitresses was top not notch! Our appetizers, and entrée’s came out hot, fresh and in a timely manner! Out waiter never let us run out of drinks, napkins and politeness!(And it was pretty busy that night) Food was DELICIOUS! Those skillet mashed potatoes were to DIEFOR! The mango tea was so addictive! Keep up the good work Chilli’s! Great job! Standing ovation! I’ll be back!

I can ALWAYS go for chili’s chips and salsa. Their chips are simply the best, no question asked. I’m the boring person who gets the same thing every time but i do love their buffalo chicken salad. I haven’t had a drink here in ages but from what I remember they have some pretty awesome margaritas. At least the one in Hawaii did. The service is always good and fast. Last time we ordered a triple dipper because I’ve been craving one forever but husband never wanted the same. This time he was on board and we got fried pickles, boneless buffalo wings and southwestern eggrolls. I ate the first two but only one eggroll. they just didn’t taste as good as I remembered. Got a pizza for the little one which she ate a little of. She’s at that age where she doesn’t eat outside the house because there are so many other things going on to look at haha. So rundown on their menu, love their salads, their soups are good, burgers haven’t tried, triple dipper is awesome. Chips and salsa a must! And the new payment system is sweet!

I am only giving a single star because they don’t give me an option of none. I visited this chili’s location this evening with my husband and my mom who flew in from California. Our waiter was nice and attentive as a waiter should be. Our orders were right. But the food took a while to come out, which isn’t much of a problem. The major problem was that when we got our appetizer, they brought out three appetizer plates, with the silverware. When we got them, we didn’t really use them. But when we received our dinner, I took one of the plates to cut up my chicken. The second plate, however is where the real problem was. On the bottom of it and the top of the third plate there was brown sludge caked into the two. Upon seeing this, I felt sick to my stomach, couldn’t finish my dinner and definitely passed on dessert. I’ve been to many different Chili’s locations, but this one was by far the worse, and lacked any cleanliness. It was appalling.

Good stuff! Reasonable price with good service. I know it is a chain but they bring 99 pieces of flare and not because it is the minimum. Only 4 stars because the beer selection is appalling!

I avoid chain restaurants like the plague. However, it was late and the wife and I didn’t feel like cooking so we decided to give the Hampton Chili’s a shot. I was thoroughly impressed, they’ve definitely stepped their game up since the last time I visited one. We got three of the half priced appetizers; the boneless wings, half order of nachos, and the crispy cheddar bites. All were delicious. Service was also top notch, everyone was friendly and worked efficiently. The décor was pleasantly fresh and the restaurant /bar area was clean. Overall, I don’t think a chain restaurant could be any better and I look forward to coming back for late night snacks again.

My wife and I enjoy this great destination. Periodically, we bring the kids and break the bank. This is a fantastic location. They recently remodeled allowing for larger parties. They have added«phone ahead wait list» to allow guest to add themselves to the wait. The food and service is excellent here. I would recommend this location to everyone.

This chili’s was great in years past, bit has gone downhill. We had to wait for someone to realize we’d arrived and needed a seat. The server was nice but totally forgot to bring one of the drinks. We had to stop the manager and ask for it. Dinner was so slow in coming, we had to get our dinners boxes to go so that we could make an appointment. We had allotted two hours for dinner and they couldn’t meet that time table. Oh, and our table was dirty. I asked for it to be cleaned and got a dirty look.

Went there about two weeks ago for a dinner with a group of friends. Since there was 11 of us we had to wait since they only had a few seats that would accommodate us. Everything started off well when we ordered our drinks and food. Then we started to have some problems. Some people ordered water while others had drinks from the bar. All the water came out and one bar drink. Our waitress came by and some people requested refills on their drinks and she said she would get them. We waited, and waited and waited for the drink refills that never came. About 10 mins later we received our drinks. We requested someone else that passed by to refill our drinks. After an additional ten mins the refills came along with our meals. Out of the meals two other people and myself had our orders messed up. I ordered a steak medium rare and it came out rare and lukewarm. My friend’s ribs were cold and another did not have the correct size or seasoning sauce. While all this happened my friend just received her bar drink. At this point we were all exhausted and just wanted to leave. The three incorrect orders came out about ten mins later and my order still wasn’t that warm. We talked to three different people in management and they handled the issue pretty well and compensated the incorrect meals. When we received our checks one person was overcharged in which we told the waitress before she swiped the car and they still overcharged my friend. I understand it was a Saturday night and there was a conference going on across the street but it was not a great night for them. If I go back I’ll be very reluctant.

Got the ribs. They tasted terrible. Even had to send coke back because it tasted like they put too much syrup in the machine. Hostess sat us right next to a table with 10 very loud idiots yelling the whole time. Stay away from here.

Blame Games and Apologies Well, where do I start? This restaurant is by far the most disturbing experience me and my lady have ever experienced. Waitress were nice but please stop apologizing all night; we don’t need your apologies just fix the issues. We’ve waited about 40 minutes on a Thursday night to get acknowledged, then even longer to get our drinks. I ordered the half rack of dr pepper flavored ribs and smoked potatoe wedges; nothing special there. She ordered the chicken fajitas, and a up sale of beans and rice as a side. Her first pink lemonade hint a soapy flavored taste. I had the patron mango margarita(the best thing happened that night) it was great. It came with a martini glass and a replica bottle of patron filled with mango flavored patron and plenty of ice. I really don’t know who our waitress was because both had the same name and told us the other«one» was our waiter. So, the«other«one rung our drinks into the wrong table, so the checkout kiosk was switched by the«other«girl, then the«other«girl brought the drinks and food to the wrong table. The only thing I could do is joke and laugh because this happened all night(must of been a new employee). There was a drunk man and a homeless stumbling and a homeless woman wondering the booths loud on her cell phone. Not an ideal situation to feel comfortable in when your out with your family having dinner. I think the management is to blame here. These workers needs guidance and it’s clear they don’t know there duties and assignments. This is the second time our experience has been absolutely horrible at this location in a six month period. We will never return. Not to this chilis anyway.

Great service. The 5 $ margaritas we’re amazing. I ordered the short rib enchiladas, my boyfriend had the new sweet & smoky burger with the onion rings on it and we had fried pickles as an appetizer. The entrees were filling. I wouldn’t get the enchiladas again they were OK. But my boyfriends burger was delicious. Will definitely come here again.

this is our new«go to» place– always great service, and very good food, they try hard to keep the diners happy. Just tried today the quesadilla chicken salad, it was fantastic! and I loved the Mango Iced tea too!

At first, the staff seemed good and friendly. The food was also good and promptly served. However, when a couple enters your establishment without any children in tow, use your brain and don’t seat them right next to several tables with large parties, and all of which have loud/screaming children whose parents seem oblivious to the migraines this causes for everyone else.

Used the Chilis Online To-Go service, so that I could pick my food up at 5:15pm on my way home from work. Got there and waited about 10minutes even though their restaurant was barren. Got food, got home and all of it was cold. I have a feeling they made my food when I placed the order rather than wait before the time I would be there to pick it up. So, pretty sure my food had sat for about an hour. The point of picking it up was that I was too exhausted to cook, which meant I wasn’t taking it back to them. All in all, we at least got fed. Cold fajitas just aren’t my thing.

We waited about 12 minutes at our table before a server came and took our drink order. We got seated in the hottest section of the restaurant. Server finally comes and takes our drink order, while we had her there we gave her our dinner order for we did not know when we would see her again. She returned to another table(6 top) with their refills and other condiments. She leaves and then returns again with some other things they ask for. I get up and go to the restroom while my family waits at the table. When I return, expecting my drinks, they still was not there, my family was ready to leave so we did. Before we could get out of the parking lot, my wife realizes she forgot her iPhone, I stopped the care and went back inside. Once inside I finally notice the server bringing our drinks out to our table but get this. She sits them down on a empty table near wear we were sitting and she goes to the«6 top» again to give them additional service. She then turns to give us our drinks and was surprised to see that we had left. The look on her face was shocking. We spoke to the manager and told him about what had happened and the best he could do was offer us another table for better service. I declined his offer and headed out the door. Im sure the food would have been good, but the seating area and the service ruined the whole experience for us. It will be a long time before we return.

Food was ok as was the attitude of the staff when we went for lunch the other day. Still there were a couple of issues. I had to ask them to turn down the piped in music(and it was still too loud) and the food took too long to arrive. Three star ok but nowhere near a 5 star exceptional.
