The food was amazing but the service was lacking. Three of us ordered and all three of our entrees came out separately. My mother was more than half finished before mine came out. Shrimp and Grits were great. They had lots of options for wing flavors.

Service was decent. The food, however, wasn’t. I ordered wings and a waffle. The strawberry waffle is a basic waffle with one strawberry. The wings are expertly flavorless. How great is that? I’ve made better at home & you can too.

This is low key my favorite spot in Hampton. There is NOTHING about this place that should make it my favorite place… it just is. Chicken and waffles and Hennessy and we’re cool! The happy hours drinks are legit and the waitresses are personable. Sometimes the food is too salty, but the drinks are always strong. So in essence, it’s just one of the most all-around best restaurants in Hampton. They don’t do anything EXCEPTIONALLY well, but they do a lot of things pretty well.

Great food and good service. Place kinda seems like a bar or maybe it used to be one and apparently still is in the evenings. I go for lunch the bourbon wings are on point and so is the sweet potato waffles.

I went here for a going away with about 15 people. We called ahead so that the restaurant knew we were coming. This place is advertised as a restaurant. Not a bar and not a night club. We drove up and there were groups of men out side the restaurant drinking and carrying on. Yelling, arguing and just loitering. At no point did any of these people come in to eat. Just hanging out and drinking«something» out of red solo cups the entire 2.5 hours we sat and listened to VERYVERY loud club music. I couldn’t hear the person sitting next to me. We ordered around 715 – 730 and the last meal that came out was my 9 year old daughters at around 945. People on the right side of the restaurant were served and left. Then other groups came in at various times after us and were still being served before us. We had our check before my daughters food ever came out. In fact I had to ask where it was. I felt like we were deliberately getting served in between orders of the rest of the customers. Our table would get one or two meals at a time about ever 20 – 30 minutes. At one point they admitted to serving another table some one from our party’s food. I could not believe this place. I get that some restaurants get into a night life type venue after a certain hour but fucking 7 o’clock? The wings were ok but the waffles were soggy and I can make better shrimp and grits at home. The best part was when we were leaving and the cops rolled up to the restaurant. NICE!!! The one positive was our very polite waitress. Never going back and I am going to tell everyone I know NOT to come here.

So I am from out of town so I only went here once. Atmosphere: Industrial Modern. Black furniture and sheet metal on table base. Service: So my server was really nice but somewhat forgetful and slow. I had to ask for a refill twice and wait for it. I had two sodas while there. Food: So I had 12 wings with a sweet potato Waffle. SAUCES were Garlic dry rub and Sweet Chili. The wings themselves have a weird plastic after taste. You can taste it on the dry rub wings. I guess this is from the warm air fryers they use. Also a few of my wings had black spots were they got stuck I guess or too close to the sides of the fryer. The sweet chili sauce was just sweet. The waffle was very dense and chewy. It had almost no flavor of sweet potato. The butter that came with it was a cinnamon butter that was grainy. After reading Unilocal reviews after the fact most said that the burger was great. I do not want to go to a wing place for a burger. Service was fine but food will cause me to never go back and never recommend

I went because they have bread pudding. The bread pudding tasted funny. Burnt even. What a flop. It’s not really a restaurant. I’d say it’s a genuine hole in the wall with 12 tables, like six on each side. In between there’s a center aisle from the entrance that leads straight to the bar, which is the smallest counter ever; no word on if it’s fully stocked. Let’s not forget the wings. They were so unfavorably disproportionate that our kind server came back with«extras.» It’s dark and tiny and they serve alcohol, and once you’re drinking I suppose you won’t care how the food tastes. As long as the game is on.

As soon as my sister and I walked in the place — ALLEYES were on us! We weren’t expecting to walk in and be in such a small place — the windows were kinda blacked out so we didn’t know what we were walking into. A friend of my sisters from the Hampton area recommended that we try this place. WINGBISTRO«a chicken and waffle experience» An experience it was! Our server was not paying attention to most of the things that we requested. My sister wanted a chocolate waffle with chocolate syrup. simple right? NOT! The server comes back and tells us that the cook has NEVER done that before. I’m confused, there is a chocolate waffle on the menu! I asked if they had chocolate sauce — she said, «the cook isn’t sure what to do» What in the world?! My sister decides to get the shrimp and grits and a pecan waffle. I ordered wings and a sweet potato waffle. The pecan waffle came plated on my plate with MY wings and no sweet potato waffle. We told the server about the mix up, asked for a plate so my sister could take her waffle from me and I waited for my sweet potato waffle. The sweet tea tasted OLD and SOUR. I asked change my drink to a flavored lemonade. Instead she gave me a flavored TEA! She apologized and got the drink that I wanted. The place seated less than 50 people. I don’t understand why the server was so flustered. We left her a generous tip, even though the experience was horrible. I will NOT go back to this place — ever.

My first(and last) experience with Wing Bistro left a bad taste in my mouth both literally and figuratively. The female who took my phone order was rude, impatient and seemed frustrated that I phoned in an order. When the order was picked up she got even more of an attitude when we asked that the order get divided into separate checks. The food was just mediocre. Some of my lunch companions complained that the wings were too salty and my sweet potato waffle bordered on being grainy. The sweet potato flavor was barely noticeable and it left a slightly unpleasant aftertaste. In so far as my customer service experience, I have a message for the counter person: Sistergirl, do you realize that if it weren’t for customers, your hind parts would be out of a job? Do you get that? I personally work way to hard for my money to throw it away at an establishment that doesn’t value, appreciate and respect its customers. So then no I won’t be coming back and I certainly won’t recommend it.
