This is the BEST Chines food restaurant and bar around. The bartenders are excellent. The management staff is always there and attentive. The food is excellent. This gets 5 stars every time I have gone in. The bar is a great place to go and relax and have a few drinks and some nice clean and healthy food. Every time the food is fresh. Takeout is always excellent as well

Our favorite Chinese restaurant in the area. Crab rangoon, beef teriyaki and chicken lo mein are our must haves. Dinning in or take out, service is always friendly.

Tsang’s was our favorite place to get Chinese food around. Tonight we decided to get takeout, no different than usual, cashew chicken, their special rice, egg fu young and a pupu platter for two. The cashew chicken was good. Tons of celery and cashews. Nicely minced pieces of chicken. A tasty sauce. The Tsang’s special rice was delicious, LOADED with pork, shrimp, ham and veggies. So fresh and delicious. The egg fu young is always yummmmm, and I’m someone who HATES egg fu young. You’re probably asking why only 3 stars if it’s such a rave review… I will now turn your attention to my pupu platter and then finish up with the cost. My pupu platter was so disappointing. Everything was over cooked and dried out, to the point that the chicken in the chicken finger was dry. I was so sad getting such poor quality food in the most expensive item we bought. Truly heartbreaking, because like I said this place has been our favorite since they opened. I’ve taken men on dates here, I have taken new friends here, I have spent Mother’s Day here… It’s such a nice atmosphere and the food is always so good. But I guess they raised their prices recently because for the four items I listed it cost $ 60 and change. The pupu platter alone was $ 25! That’s more than 1⁄3 of the bill! And to have it all super dry? So sad. But the most heart breaking part was the fact that there was only one tub of duck sauce. In my opinion there should always be at least two. Or a much larger size duck sauce. Or a few mini ones so people can use their own sparingly. Much love to Tsang’s and their kind employees! I hope to be writing a review with many more stars in the near future!

The staff is incredibly nice, they have great takeout, the drink menu is vast — and their sushi melts in your mouth without breaking your wallet! I highly recommend the Red Lion!!!

I“m not a huge fan of the typical American Chinese fare(pu pu platter stuff) but my husband is. The Food: I order the sushi mainly, but try my husbands from time to time. I can say without a doubt that this is the best Chinese food I have ever tasted. Extremely consistent, fresh and delicious. Décor is bright and inviting. The service is attentive and quick. Win win in my book.

Come for the sushi, stay for the drinks. Ive been here several times both eat in and take out. The service is usually pretty good, however there was a snafu one time with cash left for a tip. But, the manager rectified the situation that evening, with that gesture I was happy again. They have sushi and also Chinese food. Sushi is fresh and delicious, a little pricey though, but it is worth it. Chinese food is good as well. I love their beef and broccoli. The only down side is I wish they would deliver!

It was«good enough» for a while, but each time we order from here I regret it. Everything is greasy and they always mess up at least one thing in our order. For ex: I ordered sesame chicken last week and received orange chicken instead. Maybe the sushi is good, but they use way too much oil in their Chinese cooking… I feel nauseous thinking about it.

Very good Chinese food. I think they might also have some Japanese food on the menu. Unfortunately I can’t eat the beef chow mein and the pad thai because of a food allergy.

We thought we would try the Hanover location because the Duxbury location was horrible. Tsangs gets points for consistency– the service and food is horrible in both locations Highly recommend you eat dirt rather than waste your money here

We were sat immediately on a Friday night. The noise level here is awful and you can’t hear the people in your own party. But the chicken fingers were too bready and over cooked but the worst is paying $ 32 for 4 individual scorpion bowls and there was NO liquor in the drink! We are going back to Quans. Not very good!

Of all the Asian restaurants around between Boston and the Cape, nothing beats this place. The sushi is amazing and fresh and the Chinese food is fresh and delicious. Try the Steak Kew. Unreal. Cantonese style Egg Foo Young is also amazing. If you sit at the bar say hi to Kenny.

LOVE this place. Spareribs are honestly the best I’ve ever had. The sushi is really good(and I’m picky about my sushi). Snow mountain was our favorite. The atmosphere is open and bright, not like your average Chinese food joint! Definitely recommend! Best Chinese food I’ve ever had on the south shore.

Could be overall my favorite restaurant. I love the salt and pepper calamari and their sushi is fabulous. I bring the kids and the staff is always friendly and kind. I honestly have never had a bad meal here and they can make a meat loving fat guy love bean curd and mixed vegetables.

This was our first visit and it won’t be our last. The food was outstanding as was the service. Friendly people greet you and take you to your table. Service was very fast, we had our drinks quickly and the food was close behind. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Tsang’s in Hanover has always been a solid spot for fresh sushi and asian cuisine. We stopped in late Friday night, and as usual the experience was a good one. The shrimp maki roll and veggie maki roll were both fresh and delicious. Great little sushi bar with creative chefs. The traditional asian/Chinese food is also fantastic. Excellent crab rangoon, chicken fingers, and pork spareribs. The lo mein is also delicious. The long tenured team also provides excellent service, and even better cocktails. This is a great spot for sushi and Chinese food and drinks.

Ordered the sesame chicken… with a gift card thank goodness. Way too bready and battered, no real taste to it. Very disappointing. 2nd visit with my gift card: chicken teriyaki app., bone dry and not very tasty. I’m sticking to the china wok and for my chinese food splurges. Seriously, glad it was a gift.

Best again cuisine on the south shore! Sushi is great! The chicken with vegetable soup is a great starter. The crab Rangoon and chicken wings are also great! Recently tried the scallion pancakes with ginger sauce, another great starter. There customer service is lacking wether it’s busy or slow. But overall the food is what shines here.

Tsangs food is downright amazing. I will not say anything negative about their food, especially the sushi. However on more than one occasion I’ve had less than stellar service. Twice I’ve been there and had particularly rude wait staff, especially when I am with parties of more than 3 – 4 people. A few months ago I was at Tsangs with with a group of 8 people for a family celebration. We ate, and we payed. As we were leaving the waitress stopped us from leaving and told us we didn’t give her a big enough tip, right to our faces. Despite us leaving a solid 20% tip. I’ve never had a member of any wait staff of any restaurant do that, ever. It was definitely a first. With that being said more times than not the food and service here has been top shelf. Hence the 4 star rating and not lower.

Tsang’s Village Café would receive a 4 star rating if it were closer to me. So, on with my review. We dined here due to the reviews and used a Living Social deal for lunch. RESTAURANT(parking, décor, ambience, cleanliness) — 5 FOOD(freshness, portion, taste, value) — 4 (Even though both our meals came out warm and not hot.) SERVICE — 2 (The staff were attentive and professional but very impersonal, robotic and rushed us even though they weren’t busy. Also, it wouldn’t hurt them to crack a smile once in awhile. It would have been higher if they just SMILED.) Since having Dalat(Hull) and Feng Shui(Cohasset) near me for Chinese food and sushi, I can’t justify giving Tsang’s more than a 3 star. Especially with the unfriendly service. Hopefully the service will be better if I(we) come back???
