My family and I stayed at the Kimball House B&B and LOVED our stay. The owners, Sue and Todd, are so gracious and welcoming! The home is a joy to be in. We felt very safe and cozy and comfortable. Yummie beds!!! Awesome breakfasts!!! Amazing gardens and views. If I could give 10 stars, I would. This bed & breakfast is all you could wish for and more. Very highly recommended.

Kimball House is in the perfect spot for foliage viewing, and is within walking distance of Claire’s, a wonderful restaurant. There’s plenty of good hiking in the vicinity, and Sue(the owner) loaned us her kayaks for an early-morning paddle. There were other guests there the whole time we were there, but the house never felt crowded. Sue is a great cook and conversationalist, with lots of interesting stories. She knows about all the interesting stuff to do in the area. She and Todd couldn’t have been nicer. We hope to go back to Kimball House as soon as we’re able.

The Kimball House is a great place to get a true B&B experience while passing through Hardwick or the Northeast Kingdom. Sue Holmes(inn keeper) and her husband Todd are warm folks with great souls. They have done a wonderful job of restoring the home and its Victorian elegance. You’ll find a total of 3 guests rooms, so no worries about a crowd. Sue also opens her home to local leaders of message, yoga, and meditation sessions. The inn is located on a hill near the village center and provides opportunities for walking down to Galaxy book store and other small shops or a walk through the country on a dirt road.
