It has been just shy of a year since I last had fried chicken so I hardly qualify as an expert, but I really enjoyed my 3-pieces of dark chicken this afternoon. The chicken was as grease light as possible and still qualify as being called fried. Once I got past the delicious battered skin, the meat was juicy and oozing with deliciousness. Last, but not least, was an equally tasty honey butter biscuit. Will it be another year before I again sidle up to a fryer? Probably, but when I do it will likely be at a Krispy Krunchy Chicken location.
