Love having wingstop right around the corner for a late night snack. The staff is friendly, and it’s easy to order online and pick up

The wings are really good here. Garlic Parm and Hawaiian are my favorite. The parmesan fries are also pretty good and they let you select an extra crispy option. The service is not quite their yet. The staff is friendly, but the order usually gets messed up. Not quite sure how when it’s an online order where you select things. I was hoping they would be superbowl ready, but they were not. Maybe next year!

Fast food of wings. I haven’t had a flavor yet that is a must have, but enjoy going there late night and ordering lemon pepper wings and whatever else I’m in the mood for at the time. The wings are small, but I like small wings. Especially when you make them as crispy as they do. They do suck to warm up the next day though. The fries are ridiculously salty. If they used about two thirds of the seasoning they might be dead right. So far so good though.

I don’t like spicy foods so it is hard for me to find interesting wings that i like. Wingstop’s hawaiian wings were delicious! They were sweet, flavorful and not spicy. Definitely my new favorite! Their garlic parm wings were average, I probably wouldn’t order them again, but their fries were spectacular as well and there are coupons for free fries online. All in all, good wings, order the hawaiian and the fries!

This was a perfectly fine place to get wings in a pinch. Unfortunately for me, I’m really into my hot wings, so perfectly fine place means I probably won’t order wings again unless I have no other options. I really wanted to like this place more. The guys working were really nice and friendly, and doing their best to take care of customers despite a problem with the credit card machine(which happens, and can be really frustrating for workers as well as customers). The wing options were plentiful and we had fun choosing which flavors to try. While they were all OK, none of them were amazing. The wings were cooked well, which was a plus, but the sauces didn’t have the same quality taste to them as a place like Slider’s does.

Nice place, good service, bad food. I ordered buffalo and lemon-pepper wings with fries. The fries were soft and mushy and the wings were dry. Like so overcooked there was hardly any meat on the bone and it was very tough. Luckily we were eating in-store, so I was able to take them back to the counter. The manager was super nice and had a fresh order cooked for me, but the wings came out exactly the same, the fries were crispier but covered in salt. I ended up just getting my money back. I don’t know if it’s the cooks or the quality of the food, but I was disappointed.

Really not getting the positive buzz about this place. To be fair, I did not(like many other reviewers) have any trouble with the business side of things. The staff were very pleasant, my food was ready at the given time, and it’s quite nice on the inside. The wings are just so… wimpy. I’m a bone-in fan and that’s what I went for, excited that most positive experiences I read about here were with those. But you can’t bite 2 millimeters into one of those things before you hit bone. The breading and sauce were pretty good, but I’d like a LITTLE meat on the wings. I can tell from the pictures here that this is just how the wings are there and my order wasn’t a fluke. Maybe 2 stars is a bit harsh – I’m not saying this place is terrible and you need to steer clear or anything. Also, everyone else is right about the cheese fries; if I had a never-ending bucket of them, my heart would stop before my hands stop shoving fistfuls of them into my face. But this is Wingstop, not Cheese-Fry-Bucket. If you’re in it for the chicken, you’ve got better options.

First time last time. Just to start off out of 10 pieces I only got two drums. They lost be right there felt like I was being taken advantage of. Both of the ways that I ordered are supposed to be dry, but seemed rather wet with grease. The age of the grease seems to be overwhelming the flavors of the chicken. Chicken wings themselves of low-quality I suspect, and rather on the petite side so there’s no value here. Real disappointment here. There are better options in the city.

Ordered 10pc wing and order of fries, used a coupon. Cashier(manager? receipt says Ricky) did not enter the FF on the register, instead just told the cook, who had multiple orders pending. All of the orders, including the 2 customers who came and ordered wings AFTER me, we served as I waited, because my fries were given to someone else. When I finally did get my order(4 minutes after the last remaining customer left), the fries were served in a «for-here» container left open in the bag, and my Louisiana Rub wings tasted mostly of garlic parmesan, which makes sense because I watched the chef re-use multiple bowls kept on an uncovered shelf for tossing the wings instead of clean ones. The fries had so much salt on them, I was tempted to save them for winter to put on my sidewalk. They were not edible, and certainly not worth the 5 extra minutes of waiting. I had to throw them away. The only thing I can say about them, is that they were hot. The cashier was, of course, checking his cell phone regularly in between customers, when the chef obviously needed a second person to help him. 15 minutes for wings and fries? Not impressed. First visit, and quite possibly my last.

We ordered online, and it was ready before we thought it will be! We had classic chicken wings: Louisiana rub, lemon pepper and garlic parmesan. They were all really yummy. My fav was lemon pepper. My boyfriend wishes they had a better selection of beer, but if we had to judge based on wings they were pretty darn good. :)

The manager, or whomever with the fauhawk who runs the register is a very sarcastic, rude person. Not once, but twice he has given myself or someone who I was with an attitude. HORRIBLE customer service!

Meh. Hot and fresh, but not outstanding. My daughter loves the seasoned fries. The chicken tenders are small and dry. Sauces are average tasting.

not good. we thought we would give it a shot, we normally order from wings over west hartford but were excited about a new option close to home. we got bone in wings, all flats which was great to see as an option. split the flavors. also got fries with cheese sauce and a drink. also boneless half and half. when my fiancé went to pick up our food, there were two older women sitting at a table on the side of the counter and were howling and hitting on all the men walking in. usually guys like that type of thing but apparently this was pretty raunchy. He waited a while longer than expected for the order that we had called in, in advance. when he arrived home we were both looking forward to the food. half of my boneless wings are missing. blue cheese isn’t anything special. fries are wilted and watery. cheese sauce is good. we called to inform them about issue with the order — they told us to bring all the food back and they would replace it. we said we preferred not to come back. a manager juan was helpful in looking up our order and saying they would replace it upon our next visit. i highly doubt we would come back. shocked that the hype was this big about this place. maybe a bad experience but definitely one that would cause us not to return.

SOLID! I really liked Wingstop… the manager says they’ve only been open for a few weeks & have had good feedback from customers. The Good: — HOT, DELICIOUSFOOD(the fries are out of this world)! — Lots of choices — Super friendly staff. — Clean restaurant. — Easy to get to & lots of parking in back. Opportunity Areas: I split my order… half bone-in, have boneless. The cashier advised that it would be a 14 minute wait… kind of cutting it close for people who are on their lunch break. The wings tasted great, but the bone-in wings were REALLY small. Next time I’ll get all boneless. . The Bottom Line: Go there!

Happy I returned for a second visit! I was slightly disappointed in the first. My first visit, I tried the boneless wings and found them dry and sort of meh. But I’ve heard plenty a rave about the bone in wings and figured I’ll give them a shot next time I stop in. GOODCHOICE. Stopped in last night and ordered up a 10 pc combo… original hot wings with fries and a drink. Threw in some cheese sauce for the fries, just because it was Thursday. Trust me, the bone in wings are the way to go. Done just right, flavorful and juicy, these wings rival those of any take out joint in the Hartford area. They’re goooood. French fries are similar to those served at Five Guys… not the super crispy kind. They’re perfect for dipping in cheese sauce! This store is nicely appointed. Three televisions on ESPN, very, very clean. They layout is easily navigated and obvious to anyone. Menu boards are clear, concise and well written. And if you really want to go all the way and get techy with your wings – they’ve got an app. ANDITWORKSFLAWLESSLY. Just tap in your order on your iPhone, pay and hit send. Show up at the right time and you’ll have wingy goodness awaiting you. Nice work by Wingstop to bring a new and flavorful chain to New England. BWW, Wings Over, etc. all have some fine upstart competition to deal with now. In fact, I overheard the manager saying many of his associates(not to mention himself) were former Wings Over people. There’s a few others opening soon(Vernon being one) so give these guys a go. You will not be disappointed. I’m a real fan. Oh, and they’re safe for those who are GF. They have an extensive allergen menu on their website. 5÷21÷15 very important edit: this joint is NOT safe for those who are GF. In speaking with an associate with the company, I’ve found that the method in which they change out the frying oil exposes the average citizen with CD to gluten, making it an unsafe option for those who are GF and want wings. This is contrary to what is stated in their allergen menu. Sorry!

I’ve only had boneless wings so far; .60 ea on Mon &Tue. The sauces are very good; I tried the Original Hot and Serrano Glaze. Actually waiting for my first bone-in order as I type; more to come.

Coming from Houston, Texas I am very excited that Wingstop is in Hartford. I just moved here about a month ago and one thing I missed was having the best wings in the world!. My fav is Cajun wings with ranch sauce on the side. Im so happy they opened here. If you a chicken wing lover like me, this place won’t let you down!
