BYOBNOMORE. Sadly… Now they charge $ 9 a glass for a handful of so so options. You can bring your own for a $ 15 corkage fee. I had loved the BYOB option that fit so well with this place. I’ll still eat here(the food last night was as fantastic as always), though not as frequently. Part of the fun is gone.

BYOB! My first time going to a place like this. It was very laid back(it almost felt a bit slow but only because we had to get somewhere after) and they do not rush you. The food was very tasty. I will def revisit this restaurant in the new future to try some other options on the menu(but I might stick with sandwiches because the the entrees portion vs price were not that good from what I saw at the table next to me).

Went here for a late night drink based on a friend’s recommendation. Not sure why since the bar is small and they don’t serve any alcohol yet. They did allow us to buy something from across the street and bring it in. Ordered the charred octopus, which I enjoyed, and chicken pot pie, which my friend said it’s very good.

The patty melts and cod fisherman delight platter were foodgasmic in my mouth. I will definitely be back.

Excellent food! We love the chicken pot pie, the octopus, the slow beef sandwich, all of the flatbreads and dips, and the butterscotch pudding. Prices are on the high side and entrée sizes are inconsistent, but the food is so good it’s worth it! I hope they start doing brunch!

Passed this place everyday and finally decided to try it. Food and service was great. Tried the sandwich. The short rib and turkey was great. Will be back to try other dishes.

So hoped this place would be good but the lack of flavor and substance really let us down. Ordered: Eggplant meatballs — just friend veggie mush in a tomato-paste taste sauce Perogies — yeah, fine whatever but REALLY? only 3? Weak Mac n Cheese — too runny, bland and not enough salt Pot pie — best of the bunch but still, USESALT, Chef! Sigh. At least it’s byob so price is somewhat lower. But not much.

I went there for lunch along with a friend. Since they have just one menu — the same for lunch and dinner, it was a bit pricy for me. The service was nice. I shared house salad, grilled shrimp with quinoa and butter squash and chicken sausage flats. They were very tasty.

It’s painful for me to only give Copper Kettle three stars. I want to love it so much. Conceptually it is exactly what Hartsdale needed. The food is delicious, the staff is pretty nice, and it is the perfect balance between casual and quality. What’s wrong? The prices. Perhaps they need to make a lunch menu and a dinner menu. I just paid $ 15.00 and I am still hungry. I usually eat lunch in midtown Manhattan, where I get more for less money. I am an average/slim female — so the fact that I thought of having a snack about 30 seconds after eating is honesty alarming. If it was dinner time, the BYOB do make up for the prices. I will go back, and I would love to give the owner my feedback because overall — I want them to stay!!!

The Copper Kettle Café offers a much needed change of pace in Hartsdale. It’s an unassuming storefront. The décor is simple and the seating is tight. It’s BYOB as of now, which is really fun. Our young waiter was pleasant and earnest. We started off with an excellent mushroom flatbread and an OK Brussel sprout dip. Main courses were really good. I liked my short rib a lot and the polenta was creamy. The shrimp and grits were excellent. The entrée portions were on the small side, but so were the prices. You really need your own appetizer to feel satisfied with a meal here. Overall a nice little restaurant that is reasonably priced and serves well executed food.

We have been there twice on Sundays. The first time, it was packed and our lunch/brunch order came slooooowwwwwly. mac and cheese for kids and two sandwiches for us. The second time, less people and our order came out pronto! Sandwiches again are big and moist and tasty. Good addition to Hartsdale.

Love this place! As the first reviewer said, the chicken pot pie is the best of the best. Bring the family. You won’t be disappointed.

Great comfort food. Had a great chicken pot pie in the city at fraunces. Copper kettle’s chicken pot pie was even more chock full of hearty chicken and veggies! The Mac and cheese was yummy. Noble pig was flat out juicy, bread was nicely toasted, and the accompanying salad had a sweet summery balsamic dressing. The grilled octopus was ok, a bit salty for my taste. The barley and quinoa salad was fresh and filling. Overall a great experience. Service was excellent, helpful, and intelligent. Warm country feel to the physical environment. So glad that we now have a solid comfort food option in hartsdale that we can come to over and over and over again.

First time in and sure not to be the last. This is a small, eclectic restaurant smack in the middle of Hartsdale(one block west of the Metro North RR station). There are no reservations taken, and currently it is BYOB, although a liquor license has been applied for — and they do not accept American Express. There is a small 6 seat bar centered in the dining area, and the space is light, bright and comfortable. Everything is fresh and home-made, including the sandwich breads(hallah and ciabatta) There are appetizers and small plates and sandwiches(called«Presses» — like panini but on their incredible bread). The menu is perfect for mixing, matching and sharing. And share we did, as follows: Fazio Farm Rabbit & Dumplings with Mushrooms, Baby Carrots, Snap Peas(think broth and soup — outstanding!) Homemade Pierogies potato, NY cheddar, onions(good) Eggplant«Meatballs» tomato, local vegetables(terrific) Slow Beef gruyère, scallions, gremolata We arrived and were the only table, but by the time we left every seat, including the 5 – 6 at the bar were full. Easy to see why. A link to the menu and more

Went here yesterday for lunch with my sister. Copper Kettle Café has definitely become one of my go-to places. The food was so delicious and fresh. I have never eaten anything so quickly in my life. For appetizer we ordered the Wild Mushroom Flatbread. It was so good, I did not want it to end. As my meal, I got the Noble Pig. No words can describe how much I enjoyed this sandwich. After being so impressed with the appetizer and main dish, we went for dessert. Both of us got the C.M.P.B. brownie. SOAMAZING! Everyone needs to make the trip to Hartsdale and give this place a try. It is only located a few blocks away from the Hartsdale Metro North station too. Will definitely be back soon!

The café is small but it has a NYC feel. We came in around 7pm on a Friday and had to wait for only 10 min. BYOB is kind of fun and you can have some fun guessing which passerbys are coming to eat by the bottles in their hands. Although the portions are small I didn’t feel they were overly priced. The food was amazing. Our table had the duck and short rib entrees. Delicious and I really wished the portions were bigger! I left there satisfied and not overly full even after a rich brownie dessert. 4 stars because the staff was great and the food excellent. The only drawback was that it got LOUD. Such a small place and a few loud tables made it difficult to have a conversation. I would go back and recommend it to others however.

So happy about this addition to the neighborhood! Came on a quiet Sunday afternoon and there were plenty of tables available. The décor definitely reflects the local, farm-to-table emphasis(mason jar water glasses, plant buckets on the walls, etc.) We started with the white bean dip, which was a nice twist on the usual hummus offering. The toast was crispy and complemented the dish well — our waitress provided extra toast, too, as we had about half of the dip left over. The turkey sandwich was delicious, if a bit overstuffed. The Mac and cheese came baked in a small dish and was packed with flavor! My mom had the eggplant meatballs, which were tasty but you only get three small pieces per order. My dad said the pot pie was satisfying. Will definitely be back!

Service was decent(They tried) but the food didn’t hit any notes for me. The salmon was prepared well but for the price of $ 19 it was barely a lunch portion. I asked for a side of polenta that i was charged $ 8.50. Really? Way overpriced for what i ordered. BYOB was cool, so that gets a star. Small, teeny tiny space. The flat bread was all onions with droplets of ricotta that the menu claimed was burrata, but was a fallacy.(Burrata is fresh mozzarella with a ricotta cream inside) This flatbread also not worth it’s hefty $ 13 price. Blah food sprinkled with some decent dishes that u will certainly pay the price for. Some things ok and others not. Ultimately so not worth the $ 60.

Open just 6 weeks and they are off to a very promising start. Entering at 6pm on a Friday night, we were were only one of two couples. But this small modern/casual eatery — set up with tables for two and four — filled up very quickly. Service was friendly. Its BYOB. FYI: Pickup your wine at the neighboring liquor store for a 15% diners discount. Mostly, I want to say this is my favorite type of restaurant. Its a thoughtful menu focusing on seasonal produce and ingredients. Good choices for vegers and meat-eaters alike. And not overly expensive. Our meal was nicely prepared. Tasty and satisfying; indulgent but still healthful. Portion sizes were reasonable to modest(referring to dessert) Two of us shared the delicious roasted pork flat, the eggplant meatball(3), farro and quinoa salad and strawberry rhubarb crisp with walnut crumble. I really hope they maintain their upward trend. We will be back, for sure.
