I just realized that the travelon vacuum bags had 1 missing. I had a sudden case of the flu that day but was determined to finish my Christmas list. Unfortunately my game was not it’s best. I should have opened the box to checked. Each box was supposed to contain 2 bags. This one had only 1. When you shop here, you gotta check everything: open the lotion cap to see if it’s been used, open the box to see if everything is in there… Don’t worry if to you look like your vandalizing. It’s a lot better than getting conned when you get home and open the box and realize that you’ve been had. I mean they have good deals there and the people there are nice… As nice as retail people can get, but man you really have to watch it there and the TJ Maxx also in Algiers.

Wow. I really like this place.
With any discount kind of store, you have to go in with certain expectations. No, you aren’t going to find an Oscar De La Renta dress on sale for $ 49.99. In fact, just avoid the clothes here completely, because unless you are just looking for casual stuff to wear, it’ll probably be off season and nothing you are really going to like.
What Marshall’s does right is beauty products, home décor and underwear. I was able to find a few cute bra and panty sets that were marked down considerably. They even have Jessica Simpson brand sets which retail for $ 20+ marked down to $ 5. They also have a wide selection of beauty and bath products, including big «salon size» shampoo and conditioner, complete with pump. It’s not something I really need, but if you have a big family, something like that could definitely come in handy and it helps that you can get it here for cheap.
They had some cute Halloween decorations out, including a really nice mug, bowl and plate set adorned with skulls. I ended up getting a big mug that only set me back $ 4. I was pretty pleased with my purchase and now I have a cool skull mug for my coffee.
Marshall’s has a decent sized shoe section, but I didn’t see anything that really caught my eye. The checkout line is long, but there are multiple cashiers and they work fast, so the line moves quickly.

Exceeded my expectations! Organized and lots of inventory. It seems as if they had recently renovated the dressing rooms as well, which were bright and clean. Snagged a pair of cute Ralph Lauren pointy toed flats for $ 20 as well as the other inevitable random crap that ends up in your basket on a Marshalls shopping trip… dog leash, dog toys, gift bags, etc…:)

I love Marshalls. Especially when they are clean and organized. A friend and I stopped by this particular Marshalls tonight about an hour before close. I was expecting it to be a lot more disorganized than it was. I have to say, this is the CLEANEST and MOST ORGANIZED Marshalls I’ve been to. I usually go to the one in the Elmwood Shopping Center because of its central location to other stores like Ulta, World Market, Loft, Old Navy and DSW. However, after visiting this location, my standards have changed for organization and in-​stock merchandise. This Marshalls is my favorite, thus far, in the city.

I love our new Marshall ‘s as it’s clean and organised with great employees to boot. A faithful shopper lol. parking is incredibly good as well… Sincerely, Stacy

Oh look it’s the new store on the westbank. Because it is new, it is clean and not quite as disheveled as some of their other stores. As with all Marshall’s it can be hit or miss. And the clientele can be part of the adventure… why is still acceptable to smack your toddler in public?
In general, I feel like the quality of merchandise at all the area stores took a turn for the worse after the chain was purchased by TJ Maxx. Yes, I know this was decades ago but I’m being cranky-​get-​off-​my-​lawn today.

It’s nice to stop by when I’m running errands up along Manhattan. It’s a hit or a miss for me to find anything in this place.
I’ve been more watchful of how much I spend lately. So I tend to leave the store empty-​handed. It could be more organized in certain areas. The cloths are semi-​organized along with the electronic section by the men’s department. The shoe section however is the most organized section with the bags.
The fitting room and check out lines are fairly short or consist of no lines. It’s usually a quick trip in the store and out for me. It’s a nice alternative for me from TJ Maxx and Ross. If I can’t find what I want out at the other two places, I can usually find it out here at Marshalls. It doesn’t hurt to check it out.

I love Marshall’s, but this is probably my least favorite location. it’s smaller than the Elmwood one and sometimes I have gone in and the racks look bare in several sections like they were a few days ago. I still go if I’m over there, but it isn’t my first choice.

I almost don’t want to let this secret out. This new Marshall’s is one of the best Marshall’s that I’ve been to, in a long time. It’s got a great layout, the stock is plenty and lots of high end brands. And as always, stores like this are always the best places to purchase things like luggage and bags.
Worth the trip out to the Wank when you feel like bargain hunting.
