Hate to leave a bad review for a small business but if I order an omelette with fresh spinach and get served one with frozen spinach, it’s over. This is a typical small town place with tchotchkes and super-outdated décor and slow service. If the food were good, I wouldn’t mind. Two stars are for being one of the only non-corporate places in town to serve iced coffee.

Good food very nice staff. The slowest service ever. My coffee order was forgotten. The order that I placed was simply. My biggest frustration was being served last watching people come in after enjoying their food first was upsetting. However once I finally got my breakfast it was good.

This is a typical diner with a chatzky kick to it. One recommendation, Only order breakfast here. It looks like they are best at making eggs benedict and flavored pancakes. I ordered a vegetable panini which lacked the vegetables and was served on a breakfast roll. The waiter also forgot one order of pancakes for our table, so when the food was served, lets just say the pregnant woman had to wait another 10 minutes for her food to arrive. The oreo pancakes were to die for! Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream and don’t add the syrup. The Nova Scotia was tasty and the benedict sauce was buttery. The staff was nice but just was not too thorough with things such as replacing our plates with new ones when new food came. Not too high expectations from this one.

Love Fisher’s Café! Had an amazing breakfast– savory pancakes layered with bacon and topped with syrup. Saw some awesome pancakes go by, Oreo pancakes, nuts over Nutella pancakes, and other mouth-watering dishes — from their new crazy pancake menu. Love the comfortable family atmosphere and great food!

I’m new to area & kind of prefer local businesses to big box restaurants bars etc. Been here a few times, really good food and employees are very friendly, place is clean. This time was even better; they added specialty pancakes & was not disappointed! Of course I had to get the Nutella & the picture says it all. Just come & eat!

Another great experience here. My friend and I took our 2yr olds for an early lunch on a Friday. Good food — had the heuvos rancheros which were delicious! The fresh salsa and avocado were a great compliment to the eggs and black beans. A great plate of food for the price. The only complaint was service was a little slow. But overall it was a great place to take the kids as it’s very family friendly.

Fisher’s is a great little diner with friendly service and delicious food. It’s a perfect breakfast stop on the weekend. The food is really tasty and it comes out quick. I’d recommend it for any meal if you are in the area!

2.5 stars. Worth stopping if you want something easy. Cute place with adequate service and a nice diner-like menu. Nothing great but a reliable place to go if you want something simple for brunch or lunch. They forget a lot of details, like checking to make sure things are okay, or including butter and syrup with pancakes.

We had lunch at 4:00 pm that it was not busy, it took 25 minutes for our food to bw served! The waiter did not come even once to see we need anything or not. I do not like this place at all!!!

Great, satisfying food, and a relaxed atmosphere. The folks working there(including the owner) are very friendly. Just be prepared to eat the food you take home for at least two days, because EVERYTHING’S BIGGERATFISHER’S!

Fisher’s is a great little lunch spot I decided to try out a few weeks ago for lunch, since I work in the area and am sick and tired of Quick Check sandwiches and fast food on rt 17. I went at about 1:30 in the afternoon on a weekday, and the place was very quiet. just 2 other parties eating in there at the same time that I was there, and a couple of seemingly regulars sitting at the counter eating. The service was fast, and they cook everything basically in front of you. I had a chicken wrap that was amazing and a chefs salad that was absolutely huge and the best I’ve ever had. I loved this place and will be back often!

Fisher’s has been doing it for quite some time … I can recall stopping in for milkshakes after school when I was a kid. It constantly delivers for breakfast, lunch or even dinner on the nights they choose to serve it. In a small town like Hasbrouck Heights, Fisher’s fits in perfectly for the older set to go get their cup of coffee at 5am and talk about Heights Football, Yankees baseball or who knows what! Whenever the duo is back in our old stomping grounds we stop in for a guranteed good meal. It never fails. So we recently stopped on for lunch with my father and were pleased as always. Three chicken and rice soups, a couple pastrami and swiss on rye sandwiches and a turkey burger for the lady … don’t forget the side of fries. Awesome. It’s worth going here for the ambiance alone, then try the good olé café food and your set. Thanks Fishers, for filling the void in town full of empty spots …
