Get the Popeye omelet if you’re a spinach fan. My husband likes everything here. The home style potatoes are delish, my son loves them and he hates most foods. And the pumpkin bread is better than… well… you know.

One of my favorite places! It has great breakfast. I haven’t had too much of their lunch, but they do have a mean club sandwich! Their pancakes are always delicious and make sure to try their pumpkin bread! It’s just a nice hometown place with great service and delicious food. They also make a great specialty coffee!

I keep telling myself I’ll try a new breakfast/brunch place, but I keep finding myself saying«But Blondie’s is so good!» The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. The food tastes delicious whether you just having home fires and eggs or a Dutch pancake will all the fixings. They also make a great cup of coffee. The service is always friendly, and the locals know how great this place is. If you get here on the weekend, you can expect to wait for a table, but know that wait is absolutely worth it.

This place was a great find. My omelette was big but very tasty. Get a ton of food for the price. My wife’s breakfast and pancakes were good too. Highly recommend this place if you like brunch. Biscuits were better than any I’ve ever had. Service was outstanding as well.

First word of advice if you are ordering breakfast … split a meal! All of the portions are GIANT! I read another review that talked about how their father belonged to the«clean plate club» and couldn’t finish their meal, this review couldn’t be more true! If you are thirsty and have a bit of a sweet tooth I would try the Snickers latte, it has caramel, chocolate, hazelnut flavoring with whip cream on top. can you say delicious! Side note: this is huge too! I couldn’t finish it all. We ordered the country style breakfast with a Dutch pancake. I thought it would be a small side of pancakes, not literally the whole giant plate is a pancake with the country style breakfast on top. We also ordered the Meat Lovers breakfast that came with a side of large Texas toast. Not the typically toast you are used to seeing in a diner. I guess everything is bigger here?! The food was very filling and tasty. It’s a country western style restaurant hidden right next to an overpass with lots of charm and pizazz! It looks like a giant red barn on the outside. There will be a line, especially on the weekends so try and get there early! Very happy that I tried it!

Manuel’s Scramble had great flavor. Didn’t need to add any sauces. Large servings. Quick on the coffee refills. Bang for the buck.

Thank you Blondie’s Barn for providing an amazing free Thanksgiving dinner to all who came in today. Not only was it so generous, but it was SO delicious, easily the best Thanksgiving meal I’ve ever had. The staff and volunteers were friendly, and happily gave time from their Thanksgiving holiday to serve others. Thank you Blondie’s for a truly touching and delicious experience. Your kindness and giving to your community is beyond appreciated. We just moved to this area on Tuesday and we were so thankful to have such a wonderful introduction to the kindness of strangers; you brought both myself and my husband to tears. The sweet potatoes were especially amazing!

Can’t miss this place as the name says it all. This restaurant is a bright red barn that I found recently and was curious as to how their food was. I was not disappointed at all. I first ordered a sugar daddy small latte which contains caramel and hazelnut flavoring. Don’t like the word«small» fool you because for around $ 3 you get a humongous latte that I seriously could not finish and it was delicious. Then I decided I wanted to get an omelette and I spent so much time trying to decent what to get. Finally decided on an egg white omelette with cheddar jack cheese, green peppers, mushrooms, chicken, and I decided to take out the tomatoes. It came with a choice of potatoes so I chose the homemade potatoes with a hint of onion and chose a slice of pumpkin bread for my last choice. Sadly didn’t get a chance to try the pumpkin bread because I’m gluten-free but I gave it to my friend and she said it was delicious. My friend got a Belgium waffle and she loved it so much she ordered a second and took it to go. Definitely recommend this small red barn. This place is homey and the people their are very friendly. You will get a large breakfast for a great price and you won’t be disappointed.

Surprisingly amazing lattes! I had the grasshopper which is chocolate mint. Also just get the whipped cream on the latte– just commit. The biscuits were really good– eggs and hash browns also good.

Really enjoyed my Green Giant omelet. My partner ordered a hot chocolate which was very good, however I took off one star for the reason that my partner’s food was cold when it arrived. Overall, very busy and popular place, expect some mishaps.

Best restaurant in the Lansing area. Portion sizes are huge, so bring an appetite or share! I had the Manuel Scramble today and it was so good. Their pumpkin bread is delicious and they have made to order espresso drinks. There is usually a wait but it’s worth it.

Whenever my wife and I are in the area we have breakfast here. The waitstaff are always pleasant. The food is right on. A reliably good place to eat. Since they are only open for breakfast and lunch it forces us to eat dinner elsewhere.

The food and lattes are absolutely impeccable! The waitresses/staff members are wonderful and attentive, too. We have been here a few different times, and always get the Grasshopper Latte and Milkyway Latte for a treat/drink. When going for breakfast– a breakfast sandwich is the way to go! Oh, and potatoes on the side!

Decent menu options– wish the eggs benedict wasnt only a sunday thing. Food cooking was uneven– underdone potatos, spinach and mushrooms, overcooked asparagus and green peppers, overcooked pumpkin bread. Portions were huge– some may go for that but id rather it be more reasonable– we could take it home but if we were just visiting id feel it would be a waste. Nice hot chocolate, tasteless OJ.

Good food and great service. Went twice in two days. Day one I had the Acapulco omelette and was nicely surprised at how fresh the jalapenos were. Not what you expect away from an authentic Mexican place. Day two I had the eggs benedict. Nothing fancy, but they both ask my preference and delivered the exact level of done-ness on the poached eggs. Not many places ask let alone get it right. And I can’t forget that they never let my coffee mug get more than half empty. And I drink a lot of coffee.

One of my go to places for breakfast near East Lansing. This is where you go for comfort food when you miss home. They get pretty busy before noon, but around 1:00 it dies down and they serve breakfast all day. Staff is very friendly and they give you large portions of food. Seriously the pancakes can easily feed two people. I enjoy the omelets and seasonal«Sparty» breakfast sandwich. Try the hot chocolate. Served in a big mug with whip cream.

Excellent service! Friendly staff! Good food and satisfying portions :) I arrived at 1:50pm on a Sunday and the restaurant had told me over the phone that they close between 2 and 2:30pm. I was planning on getting take out but Blondie encouraged me to dine in :) I was surprised to see a mostly full restaurant so I’m sure it’s a policy to push their hours a little. The pancakes, omelet and hash browns were terrific! If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would! Oh and I forgot my to-go container of what I couldn’t finish — Blondie ran it out to me as I was started to pull out.
