While I’ve never had the ices, Bobby’s recently started selling grilled cheese sandwiches both with and without meat. At this point I’ve had the garden, the tuscan, and the hammy grilled cheese and they’re all delicious. The soup is also very good, though it’s not much different from soups from other places.

After I walked in and felt welcomed, I noticed the huge family the owner had and realized what a huge investment he has in the success of this ice shop. I saw how clean and cared for everything was. I felt the true meaning of pride in ownership and got touched with a good feeling. Then I back to my place and tasted it. I was surprised and grateful. I found a new spot for Ice that was fresher and more flavorful that Ralph’s(no offense) but if you Live on Long Island this is your spot!

Great refreshing place for the summer. We ordered 3 Gelatis & loved them all. Excellent idea to combine Frozen Custard + Cream Ice in a Gelati. You must visit this place.

Hello all fellow Unilocaler Foodies! I ran across this place because it recently opened next to my favorite Mexican take out restaurant and one day decided to get a gelati with my fish tacos. It was a welcome change from the common ice cream shop, Italian ice shop or frozen yogurt joint. I’ve had a gelati on a few occasions from Rita’s and thought they had pretty amazing frozen custard and ice combos, but they seemed to be the only place selling gelati on the island. LOOKOUT Ritia’s, Bobby’s is bringing their A game to the table! So I’ve tried Bobby’s gelati’s 3 times, each time picking a different one from their menu. It’s obvious this guy is making his ice in house and that the frozen custard is as smooth and tasty as it gets. To top off the amazing flavor experience the shop has a cool family vibe and you can tell they all care about their product and your experience. I would love to see how zagget rates these treats! Thanx Bobby’s keep up the good work!

This ice cream/Italian ice shop offers a nice option if you don’t want a hugely fattening sweet treat. You can go for a fruity water ice, a chocolatey cream ice, a mix of the two, or pick anything and add«custard,» a creamy rich treat of vanilla or chocolate. Staff was super friendly, attentive, excited and a pleasure.

If you’ve never had«gelati», then you haven’t lived. It’s a unique combination of water ice paired with iced cream and custard. It causes an explosion of flavors and textures on the palate. It is quite refreshing after walking on the Long Island beaches. Parking is ample. Crew is very professional and polite. They let you sample any flavor you want. They often have flavor specials that run out quick… So get here quick!
