Tropical Smoothie Cafe

This place is really nice way to stay healthy with all the great smoothies and good food selections thank you tropical smoothie !!!

I’ve been here several times and every single time I have came here they forget something. This past time I was very frustrated. I went there on a Saturday and first when I gave my order Joslyn at the register looked at me like I had 5 heads when I ordered a side of Kale-​Slaw with my sandwich because she didn’t know how to put it in the computer. Not only was she not very bright, but neither was anyone else that was working. It took ¹⁵⁄₂₀ minutes for my food to come out (it wasn’t even busy– there was only about 3 other people there), and when I did get my food, instead of the Kale-​Slaw I just got a plain side of Kale. This location needs to get better staff. It’s sad for a good company to loose business because of poor staff.

I would describe this place as really very okay. I don’t know where all these rave reviews come from because I didn’t find anything about this place incredible. I went around 1:15 and was on line for half an hour with maybe 6 people in front of me. In my opinion, the taking names and running the food out thing is a huge waste of time. Especially since people get talking and those poor, busy employees were walking around calling names and then people were like, «durp, that’s me».
I got the «Paradise Point» smoothie which was the perfect consistency but I tasted only a hint of banana and strawberry and absolutely no pineapple, it was blah and bland. I got the Thai Chicken Salad which I liked that it was chopped but by the time I picked out the skanky pieces of chicken, it was not very filling. And it was spicy. I don’t like spicy and this had like red pepper flakes in it and my lips felt like I had a chemical peal done.
I also wouldn’t say this place was «cheap» either. I got the smoothie and salad and it was $ 11.

Great food and smoothie taste amazing not a big fan of smoothies but came here with a friends that loves it. Staff is friendly and greet you as you walk in and always kept a smile on their face. Located right off the L.I.E right on 111 I use to pass this all the time when it was a Quiznos but never stopped by. Good thing my friend loved it because I’m well on my way there too.

Clean, fast, friendly service at Tropical Smoothie.
Came here for lunch with coworkers and wasn’t disappointed.
Smoothie was freshly made & Chipotle chicken club flatbread was hot and made within few minutes after ordering.
Does get good lunch crowd and busy but there are plenty of seats to enjoy lunch in bright dining room.

Im addicted to tropical smoothies and the employees are very nice. two thumbs and five stars.

Clean bright and convenient layout. Friendly staff and a healthy option for lunch, finally.

They just had their Grand Opening on Saturday. Been waiting forever for that location to open up! Great location, clean, bright, and the great food you expect from Tropical Smoothie :-) Will be going there for lunch often!
