Terrific food. We enjoyed the garlic shrimp plate and the lemon garlic shrimp plate. 10 large shrimp on each plate, with two scoops of well-​prepared rice, a small side salad, and a piece of juicy pineapple. Excellent, and highly recommended.

My girlfriend and I have been on a hunt to find the best shrimp food trucks when we drive around the island, and we’ve tried a few others but after our first time eating here our hunt has stopped. We’ve been here about three times in the past couple of weeks and we are always served by the nice lady. She recognizes us already haha! The service is always spot on and they do have kamaaina discount. There is usually no wait since we stop by early, but I have seen this place get packed. There is a nice area with picnic tables underneath a tent where you can eat, but I usually order to go and eat at the beach.
Best things on the menu: #1 Garlic Shrimp, #5 Spicy Garlic Lemon Shrimp, and #9 Coconut Shrimp. All of the plates come with rice, a slice of pineapple, dressed greens, and a drink. Decent portions and everything always tastes fresh! Honestly just skip the mainstream trucks like Giovanni’s because Aloha Shrimp is where it’s at!

We stopped at about four different shrimp trucks during our week-​long stay on the island. This shrimp truck is one of our favorites! Garlic… butter…more garlic… more butter; yes please! Even the little side salad is tasty. Oh how I wish we had such local yumminess!

First time we came here I was amazed at the customer service and the kamaaina discount. Gotta love getting free drinks! Not to mention the shrimp is honestly THE best garlic shrimp I’ve ever had. We came back a second time about a month later and the owner still remembered us! We ordered 4 plates that time. He packed all the plates and drinks in a cardboard box and even delivered it to our car afterwards. Great shrimp, great prices, great people! If you’re on that side of the island, you definitely have to stop by.

Tim will be open for business all day Monday-​Sunday 9am-​8pm. There are plenty of choices and you can eat your meal under a breezy canopy.

Saw the Unilocal reviews and decided to try it before heading back to town. Ordered the garlic shrimp plate and it was delicious! Might be a little salty for some people but the overall flavor was great, rice was cooked perfect (can’t stand gooey rice or hard rice, it ruins everything), and it came with greens and a cute slice of pineapple, which I haven’t had in a while. Satisfied my craving for sure! Just was a little annoyed by all the flies harassing me for food. Lol

Came here on our last day in Oahu. This was the second shrimp truck that we have tried. It was raining when we got here and the coveted area kept us nice and dry. It’s right by the road so the rain and cars made it a bit loud, but it didn’t bother us.
We ordered the garlic shrimp which was amazing. Fresh, good portion, got, and huge shrimp. I want to come back to Oahu just for the shrimp trucks!

This was one of the best garlic shrimp plates I’ve ever had, if not the best! Generous portions, sweet, plump shrimp that isn’t fishy, and a salty garlic sauce that is so delish! My husband also doesn’t like shrimp so he got the chicken Katsu plate, and it was surely the best Katsu I’ve ever had.
The service is extremely friendly and helpful, I definitely want to come back! I’m glad I saw the excellent Unilocal reviews because I honestly wouldn’t have come based on the exterior of the truck. You must come here!

Great shrimp, reasonable price, I got the garlic shrimp. It came with two scoops of rice, a pineapple wedge and a tossed salad, this was not your typical shrimp truck shrimp. What sets this apart was that the shrimp had lots of flavor, without being drowned in butter. There were lots of bits of browned caramely garlic, which seasoned the rice. The pineapple was a great accompaniment to round out the plate.
More flavorful, much cheaper and less greasy than Giovanni’s and Macky’s. Smiley, happy service too. Oh, and the tables were clean and the ocean view across the street can’t be beat.

Came here twice on our visit to Oahu and loved this truck! The family that serves the food was so friendly (we came later in the evening and were the only ones there the second time) They do stay open later (maybe 7 or 8) which worked better for our schedule than most of the trucks.
Shrimp was delicious, it came with a slice of pineapple and a small little salad. Same prices as most places ($ 14) We would definitely recommend the spicy garlic lemon (I think that was the one, it was a blend of spicy and something else) the flavor was SOOO GOOD!
Lots of picnic table seating, I recommend!

Comimos ahi buscando otro lugar y la verdad que fue muy muy bueno! Pedimos un spicy lemon shrimp: espectaculr, lo unico que me gusta que el camaron venga pelado y no fue el caso
