Today I spent 15 minutes at the drive thru trying to just get a coffee. The car in front of me and the two in back of me decided to leave. I should have also. I parked and went inside. The workers were running around like chickens with their heads off. There were two people in front of me waiting for their orders which both got messed up. I waited for what seemed like another 15 minutes then placed my order. A large regular iced coffee which I get daily. I noticed the worker grabbing a large soda cup and filling it. OK. I figured maybe they ran out of the large coffee cups which has happened before. I got my drink and walked away to get a straw and removed the lid. It didn’t look like coffee so I went back to the worker and asked if it was coffee. He said it was iced tea. I said that I wanted iced coffee. He said that I said iced tea. I said no, I know what I ordered and it was coffee. He went and made a coffee which was medium and said that it was on him. Well I wanted large and he must have forgotten that I was already charged for it. I shook my head and left with the medium coffee. I won’t be returning to this McDonald’s anytime soon.

I use to LOVE going here late at night because the older woman(she seemed like a grandmother to me) was always accurate with my orders and gave me what I wanted. Working graveyard shifts back then, I didn’t have time to return and get orders corrected if they were wrong. Which was why I adored her! This new bald, old man just SUCKS at taking orders. Like do you need a hearing aid or do you need to turn up the volume?! Every Mc Donald’s I go to where I ask for a medium orange juice(juice, not High-C) with a meal, they give it to me and put in the correct charge. This place, nope. «It comes with a small orange juice only». WTF?! First rule of Customer Service, GIVETHECUSTOMERWHATTHEYWANT! Having worked in the service industry before and being forced to watch training videos on Customer Service, this is how I am with customers as long as their request(s) are within reason. Tonight, this same guy gave me a medium soda cup when I ordered a medium orange juice… At this point, I’m done with ever going to this Mc Donald’s at night until this person is replaced! He looked like a manager so I will NEVERRETURNEVERAGAIN! And this is coming from a person that use to go EVERYNIGHTBEFOREAND/OR AFTERWORK! This McDonald’s has lost a regular customer.

Four stars just for being open 24 hours, which enabled us to make a pit stop after 11pm on our way back from Maine. They have a drive through if you don’t need to or want to physically pop in for some reason or another. They looked clean enough. Just wish the hand dryer was warmer, particularly since they don’t offer a hand towel alternative in the restroom.

I mean, how long has this place been here? I couldn’t tell you because I remember going when i was like 4 or 5. Its McDonalds… the food is… well its food, its fast and its freaky. Its right on rt 125 and is also a biznitch to get in and out of now with all the 125 traffic. I certainly wouldn’t go here if I want great food, but if im craving it(hey it happens!) then yeah… fine.

I’m not sure if this is a review of one particular McD’s or just my general disappointment with their entire chain of fast food places. Of all the different fast food establishments on Route 125, this is the one that I’m least likely to visit. I go maybe once a year just because I don’t see how they can continue to thrive while making the least tasty burgers, but they do. The fries are good, but the burgers? No thanks.
