This is a classic taproom which serves cold drinks, good conversation, and great atmosphere. The people are genuine. The place is filled with regulars; young and old, blue collar and white collar-it’s a bit of a throwback place, so be prepared.(smoking is permitted) You’re sure to enjoy yourself watching a game, throwing darts or playing shuffleboard and meeting new friends.

This dive bar has been here forever, when you walk in you are hit with the stench of cigarette smoke as you are allowed to smoke in here still. Reasonably priced drinks. I do not go here often at all but if I do its for a game of shuffle board on a Monday night after bowling. If you are looking for a dive bar in Havertown this place is for you. I prefer something a little more upbeat to watch the game, and really do not care to smell like smoke when I get home. But hey it’s just not my cup of tea anymore, but it maybe yours. Cheers! Parking lot right next door which is free after 6PM.

Think you are good at shuffle board? Come in here and play one of the regulars, they may teach you a thing or two. People may be a little hesitant to walk into this dive bar, but it’s really not as it may come off. Everyone that is a regular here is friendly and polite. The beer is COLD and the bar tenders are very competent. Don’t be nervous if you are part of the younger crowd to come in here, you’ll have a great time.

Great hole in the wall bar with friendly people and cold beer, can’t ask for much more than that. Enjoy the shuffleboard table while you’re here

It’s a dive bar. As long as that’s what you want you’ll be fine. Mostly beers here and reasonably priced. It’s probably the wrong place to order a Cosmo. Great cheap parking lot a few steps away.

The Ivy Inn is a great place to grab a drink with friends, watch a game and play darts or shuffleboard. The draft beer is literally the coldest in town, and the prices are right. The folks who work there are really friendly and the patrons are too. I just moved here in the last year from out of state and from the second or third time I went there, everyone made me feel as though I’d lived here my whole life.
