Jano’s Pizza

Absolutely awful service. Frequently late and often the order is wrong. We used to love this place but the service is terrible now.

Their pizza is in our rotation and it’s a decent pie– best non-​Picas pie we’ve discovered in Havertown. The Kelly O’ Fries are fantastic– melted cheddar and mozzarella with bits of bacon. Also, the steak bread is well worth it. The wings fell a little short, but we’ll give them another shot. They can get busy on weekends so plan accordingly.

Took these guys over 90 minutes to deliver cold pizza. They told us 45 minutes and were quite rude to us on the phone we called to ask about our pizza.

Not sure why such high ratings. Called before ordering to see if they cook burgers to order and was told– yes! So we ordered a burger medium rare, chicken parm, hot wings, and breaded mushrooms.
The chicken parm was DRY– chicken was dry and there was maybe a teaspoon of sauce on it.
The burger wasn’t any better. I’m not sure how they managed to leave a hint of pink and zero juices in burger but they definitely succeeded. That was probably the worst burger I’ve had.
When asked for the choice between hot and mild wings I have to say that Tacos Bell’s mild sauce had more kick than Jano’s HOT wings.
Last but not least– breaded mushrooms. These were good and I’m glad I ordered them because if it wasn’t for the side of marinara that these came with I wouldn’t of been able to palate my dry and overcooked chicken parm.
Second order from this place left a bad taste in my mouth… Literally.

Love it. My family and I are regulars. We get our pizza there every Friday. I like the upside down and pepperoni. Good deals and the people that work there are all from Havertown. Good deals. I love the kelly o fries and the hot wings. Nothing to complain about there!

We really like Jano’s Havertown! We ordered a couple of times in the past week. We ordered on a Friday and Saturday we had guests and ordered again. Then more company on Monday. We ate cheesesteaks (beef and chicken), fries, and wings (hot and bbq).Their steaks are good! Delivery is really quick and our food was hot. We were not disappointed. We had an issue with an order that got confused. No big deal. They corrected the issue and brought out more hot food. We will order from them again.

We use yo order from there a lot. Ordered last Friday… it took an hour and a half and it was HORRIBLE! Threw the menu and leftovers away! Maybe under new ownership? Anyway lost a customer!

Stopped by Jano’s for a pizza on the evening of the 4^th of July. Four of us decided on the large Sicilian pizza with pepperoni.
Went to the counter to order, and we’re told that the Sicilian pizza needs a 1-​day advance notice to order. Huh? A storefront pizza place needs an advance order for a pizza?
I glanced at the menu — nothing on there indicating that the advance order was necessary — so I wonder how anyone would know this, except stalwart regulars. Walk-​in traffic (like our party was) would have no idea.
We opted for the 16″ pepperoni. It was fine, if unremarkable.
The staff — all young people — gave the distinct impression we were interrupting their Facebook updating when we walked in and decided to eat there. Not a smile, not a pleasant word, not a «hello» or «good evening.» Just a bunch of bored suburban kids whom we were annoying.
I probably won’t return to Jano’s any time soon.

Best slice and soda ever! $ 2.50, huge, and delicious. Friendly service. Yum. Very good pizza place.

I’ve been getting food from Jano’s for years and have never had an issue. My girlfriend and I decided to stop by the Havertown location for a slice. We walk in, order two slices of pepperoni, then turn around to sit down only to notice that every table in the place is dirty. It’s 1 o’clock in the afternoon and only one other table is being used, so it’s not as if the place was just too busy to clean. After choosing the table with the least amount of food crumbs and trash on it, we notice that there’s also food and trash all over the floor. This doesn’t deter us though, because I know I won’t be disappointed with the food. After 20 minutes we ask the girl at the counter when our slices will be ready. She says, «they’ll be ready, like… any minute.» We see her turn and tell the one guy back there cooking that she needs slices. A few minutes later she calls and says they’re ready. We walk up to see that the two slices are plain, not pepperoni. I asked for my money back and we left.
Jano’s has good pizza and great sandwiches, just pretty terrible service. Order and have your food delivered. Do not go there to eat.

No thanks. For a below average pizza joint, they actually have the nerve to pass through their Visa charges. It is 2013 and people use cards. Suck up the cost yourself. That’s the price of doing business. (Or at least up your prices by a fraction to offset those costs.)

My new local favorite. As a former New Yorker I’m always looking for pizza that comes close to NY. This is the best I’ve found around here. Pizza loving son agrees.

Best Buff Chick chstk around no question

This restaurant location has gone through many changes over the years, from Joey’s to La Famiglia, and now, to Jano’s. The issue here is that in the most recent transition, the menu has been significantly downsized from previous offerings, and the atmosphere and quality has been downgraded alongside it.
My best friend and I used to frequent the previous restaurants for comfort food, and when we saw the name had changed, we came in just the same, hoping to enjoy a quality, if slightly on the cheap side, italian meal.
Unfortunately we received less than we expected, as the food was greasier, and just didn’t seem to meet even our lower standards.
The food is not bad, it is just not good, and I am sad to see the old, family style restaurants replaced with a more impersonal atmosphere and menu.
I understand that it is a new restaurant, with new owners and a new sense of what kind of business they want to run, but for my money, I think I will look for a new restaurant, as they have removed the comfort and family feel of the other restaurants, leaving Htown with another average pizza place.

Great pizza joint!!! I love their pizza, there was never a time where I was disappointed! Everytime I pass by they are packed with customers which shows a lot about the place. Good quality food, there is something there for everyone to enjoy. The fact that they sell beer gives the place extra points. i would recommend this place to anyone!!!

In Havertown you can’t through a stick without hitting a pizza joint! This is one of them. I’d put them in the top 25% based on quality, quantity, and service. It’s nice that you can grab a beer here which is not true of most pizza places in the area. There is a great cheap public parking lot about a minutes’ walk down the street.
This is a full menu pizza joint. In addition to pies you can get burgers, hoagies, Italian, etc. Pizza is a really personal thing. They are worth a try to see if you like their style.
