Kinecta Federal Credit Union

Just wanted to stop by and thank DAVID VILLA for providing excellent customer service and to top it off, he was able to lower my interest rate on my car payment which is great … He was on point about everything very through and efficient… was there around 5:45 pm Wed, shortly before closing (6 pm) and he called me at 6:30 PM to let me know that I was approved… which is great … got my interest rate on my vehicle loan from 7% to 2.63% … Extremely satisfied with customer service and overall how great they were to help me out … Came in this morning got all the paper work signed… I would recommend him very knowledgeable, patient, and had the process was done quickly… Had me in & out before I went in to work… He even took the time to open up my online banking account at the moment. Thanks once again.

This is my favorite bank to go too the staff at this location is very helpful and very professional will recommend this branch to anybody looking to open a new bank account do it with Kinecta.

Great Service! Kinecta is one of the best banks I have experienced. Employees are very well trained and helpful. Erene Lugo is our to go person whenever something out of ordinary needed. Our whole family have accounts and loans with Kinecta, all set up by Erene. She makes sure that we get good deals and set everything up for us.

Had my card hacked. The staff was very accommodating and helped me through the process which could have been painful. Thanks to the several staff members I dealt with I had my fraudulent transactions removed and a new working card in no time.

I came here to open a savings for my toddler. I was immediately greeted although there was a wait it wasn’t too long and the employees made sure to make eye contact with the people who were waiting. Overall I was very very pleased with the service. Christian did an amazing good at explaining what types of savings accounts I can open for my toddler. I also like how I got her account card right at the office.

The only reason I gave them a 1 is because they are pretty friendly. The thing is just that they are extremely slow. There is always a long line and they sometimes only have two tellers attending to the cutomers. Whoever is in charge either needs to put more tellers to work or get the ones that are working to improve their speed. It’s extremely annoying to come in a have to wait forever!

I started to bank with kinecta since everyone started to brag about how great and awesome it was. My atm card seems like it never works. When I check my balance inquiry it’s never right. I need to withdraw 850 dollars for my rent was denied the 350 of my own money because I’m only allowed to withdraw 500 for the day. Now they’re telling me I have to wait until Monday to have the rest of my money that I need!!! I am completely outraged. I asked to speak to a manger she said I am the manager, ok well it doesn’t really seem like your trying to help me. You tell me if you told you landlord that you’ll have the rest of your rent on Monday what would they say to you? Then when I told her I wanted to close the account and get my money out. I can’t do that. How are you going to tell me I cannot have my own money? So done with this bank. I was better off at Bank of America

I really like this branch. I am moving from lafcu credit union to kinecta because I find it easier to do business with and have a more pleasant transaction with this union. It is easier to apply for loans and they seem interested in trying to get me signed up for all the programs I qualify for. I actually went into this branch to change my address and wound up refinancing my car and transferring my balance from a lafcu credit card to a kinecta one at a better rate. I didn’t go into there with this intention but I am really happy with the money I saved. I really like 2 of their (personal finance advisors) Veronica E. and Wendy C. They are professional and give good advice. Oh, and they own most of the atm’s at 7-​eleven so no atm fees, which is another reason I am leaving lafcu.

Customer service was awesome, there was no wait when I went in to open my account. Daniel was very informative and patient. He answered all of my questions and even help me set up online and the app on my phone.

Kinecta Federal Credit Union has been my bank for a long time now. I have always been greeted with a friendly face and smile. They are always helpful, whether it’s for my checking, savings or auto loan. The Hawthorne branch is awesome, and Erene is great!

I absolutely love this OG Albertson’s Branch! I’ve been banking with Hawthorne for at least 15 yrs and feel like family. I’ve seen it all while standing in line and I have to say this branch goes over and beyond to satisfy members (even the most difficult members).
Excellent customer service with EVERY VISIT (even when I asked for $ 500 $ 1 bills right before closing because I was going on vacation it was manually counted out for me with a smile).
While I was was out of the country on vacation I had a problem with a 2k transaction and within no more than 5 mins (and a 3 hr time difference) it was all taken care of!
Pre-​qualified for a loan and bought a new car 2hrs later (KIA OPTIMA EX)!!!
Veronica, Jessica, Aldo, Lisa and Irene was the best team Kinecta ever put together! I can go on and on about this branch because they really take care of their members!

I love this Branch! They have Great customer service and fast lines. Go to Erene for help with any loans. She is so patient and helpful. Trust me if you go to this branch you will leave happy. I do!

First let me start by saying this review has nothing to do with this location.
I have been a member with kinecta for over 6 years now I’ve never over drafted my account and my biweekly checks get directly deposited. The reason I signed up for a credit union was because everyone brags about the perks. Kinecta has no perks. I’m in desperate need of a car. I can’t log into my online account because they put a stupid picture of some grass as my personal imagine and I have no clue what it means. So I apply like a regular person for a personal loan. I put my member information in. DENIED. without reason within 30 seconds.
Honestly I’m better off going to a regular bank because kinecta has been the worst experience ever.

Kinecta is the Worst credit union to ever join, not only their customer service is poor at this branch, it’s even more worse talking over the phone with their «customer service»

I love this credit union! I have been a member for at least ten years and the service is always great. It is like my second family because they know me personally and I’m not just a member or another number as with the traditional banks.

I’ve visited this Kinecta federal credit union in Hawthorne twice in the past 3 days, and each time was a great experience. The customer service was excellent. My husband and I both opened accounts here, and the process was simple and easy. We were in and out within 15 minutes! Erene, Daniel, and Wendy were very knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. No question went unanswered. I, and my husband are very happy to be joining Kinecta…

horrible experience I felt so unwelcome!!!
I walked in on a Friday and waited 30 minutes to open a account (I didn’t mind the wait since I saw it was busy)
but when a banker comes up and finally reads my name he asks why I came in.
I informed him I would like to open an account and he right away asked if I had two forms of ID and if I had a proof of residency.(I didn’t have it since I didn’t know whats required)
and said he couldn’t help me and to have a great weekend and gave me a card for another banker since he couldn’t open accounts.
I was so upset!!! I understand if it’s Friday but he knew that I had waited 30 minutes!!!
At least give me information about the accounts that are offered for waiting for 30 minutes!!!

I left so mad I decided to call the branch as soon as I got home it to his luck they were closed!
so I decided to instead give it a horrible Unilocal review and call Kinecta head quarters and let them know why the branch is not opening many accounts!!!

Decent credit union. Really nice people. Sometimes you might wait a but because the teller is talking to a customer about personal stuff. That just means they have built a repore with some local and usually older customers. It happens in smaller credit unions like this. Not withdrawal/​deposit slips needed here. Just ID and account number. Simple!!! The area can get a bit ghetto but not too bad. Really nice credit union to be a part with, but I use it as secondary not primary financial institution. So I’m not here all the time. But when I do come here, the service is pretty good and easy.
Parking is on a private lot. The corner where the credit union is can get a bit tight. Lots of people here for other stores. Parking depends on the time you come… can’t really get a feel for it since I don’t come here too often. Other banks close by also if you are running errands and have multiple banks.
If you need to head back towards El Segundo going east… drive around on the lot to behind taco bell. The street there has a light and would be easier then making a u-​turn, then a left on the main street.
