They have exactly the type of wings I like! Crispy, juicy and spicy. Stick to the wings. Everything else is bland. I’ve tried the steak and cheese, gyro, gyro calzone, pizza – no taste. I keep hoping that something else will taste good but it never does. The wings though? Perfect!

This place has the best steak and cheese sub and steak and cheese Stromboli. Seriously, do yourself a favor and try it. I haven’t been able to find a good steak and cheese in NoVa aside from Rays the steaks in arlington and this place.

For the price it’s not a bad deal at all. Their grinders are really good. Pizza is good for the price but I wish the dough had more flavor. I ordered my pizza with bacon. This is the second time I have done this… the first time they used maple bacon and it was amazinggggggg the second time they didn’t. I wish they would at least have that as an option because it was really good.

Deliciousssss!!! My fiancé and I went there last night for dinner and we split the 12′ mediteranian pizza(black olived, tomatoes, onion, and feta) but because my fiancé doesnt like black olives we didnt get those :’(We got there around 7ish and there were only two other people in there. It is a small place so it can easily get veryyy crowed. Will definitely go there again and we both agreed we’d bring friends and family there too! I loved the family owned vibe we got.

Every time I get pizza from here it is covered in grease! It literally soaked the napkin I used to try to remove some of the grease so I can eat it

I will go to this restaurant again a small place but the food was of pretty good quality. The value definitely existed and pricing was fair. I would go here again and RECOMMEND for anyone to go.

I ordered chicken Parmesan dinner from pizzarama. Don’t think I’ve ever been so disappointed. I have never seen it prepared like this in a bolognese sauce that tastes like chili in a weird way. There’s no cheese on top and it’s not even a whole or half chicken breast!!! It’s fried chicken nuggets cut up into pieces! What the hell! They get one star because you can’t screw up mozzarella sticks!

I’ve ordered from this joint several times and I enjoy their wide menu selection. The food is pretty good and the prices are decent for the area. The inside seating area is kind of small but they don’t get too busy so this has never been a problem for me. The staff is friendly and I appreciate how they work in an efficient manner. The only thing that’s tricky about this place is the exact location. While the address is listed as Washington St, the main entrance and parking lot is actually off of Jefferson/Old Carolina. I could see how this may confuse first time visitors trying to locate the place. Otherwise I really enjoy the pizza and subs they offer. Every time I’ve ordered from here I’ve been very satisfied with the taste and price. *This business is gun carry friendly.

Really love this place. A little overpriced but very yummy. Their Alfredo pizza is my personal favorite. Love their crust! Their chicken gyro with cucumber sauce is also very yummy! Also very good customer service.

Love this place. Great people. Consistent quality. My teenager begs for the Rueben if two weeks go by without one. Pasta always good. Gyro salad, too.

I continue to absolutely love this place. Their hot pizza is the best bar none, and the staff, especially the owner, are fantastic customer-focused people.

Pizzarama is my go-to joint in Haymarket for subs and Gyros! It’s been a while so it’s time to update my review… I usually order the same items over and over because I like them so much — but recently I decided to change things up and tried a couple of sandwiches/subs that I’ve not ordered from them before: — Corned Beef Rueben on Rye — a hot sandwich on toasted Rye bread with Sauerkraut, Swiss Cheese, and Russian dressing — Pastrami Sub — a hot sub with lettuce, tomato, and mayo. Both were pretty darn good — I like the Corned Beef Rueben the best out of the two of them. I also continue to order the old faves: — 12″ Steak and Cheese Sub — with mayo, lettuce, tomato, onions(raw onions — the default is fried onions), and banana peppers; often I’ll order this with extra meat, cheese, and some times bacon! — 12″ Super Italian — several species of cold cuts, cheese, mayo, lettuce, tomato, onion, oil & vinegar and banana peppers; — Gyro Platter — comes with a Greek Salad and Steak Fries which have this nice spicy, zesty kick to it! If I’m extra hungry, I’ll order the Gyro with extra meat! And their Pizza’s are good too! Next I plan to try their chicken wings and Sweet Potato fries! Eli is the owner and proprietor of Pizzarama — he is a good guy! Stop on in for lunch or dinner — eat in or get it to go!

Ordered from pizzarama last weekend. Got two larges and an order of hot wings. The wings are really good. They have a light batter and decent kick. The pizzas were good but one of them had a couple of spots lacking cheese coverage. The pizza crust, for my taste, is a bit on the doughy side. I placed my order for carry out and the people working were very friendly, it was pretty busy too with customers dining and others carrying out. Will have to give their other menu items a try.

We love the pizza here. The crust is very good. The steak and cheese subs are also very good. No real. complaints. The place is not ideal for dinning in. It’s best for carry out. The owner is nice and offers great service and a good value for the price.

I was driving home and trying to find someone to deliver and found Pizzarama on Unilocal. They actually had my name in the system and could see that I had not ordered since 2006. That should have been my clue. The person on the phone was very nice but I was very disappointed in the pizza. Ordered extra cheese with pepperoni and an order of onion rings. Rings good. Pizza not so much. Very dry and the cheese was almost nonexistent in my opinion considering I order Extra cheese. Sorry. I had to share.

LOVELOVELOVE that this place delivers! The subs & pizza are really good! I recently got the Chicken Souvlaki. The ONLY thing missing was the yogurt sauce! Instead there was some sort of greek dressing(think italian dressing) on it. With that said, it didn’t have quite the taste I was hoping for. It was still good, but I won’t be ordering it again unless they decide to start dressing it with the sauce intended for it =)(Which stinks because I would probably buy it all the time if that weren’t the case)

The wife and I went here to give them a shot, we placed a take-out order of 2 medium pizzas, one cheese and one«hawaiian». Well for some reason the«hawaiian pizza»(which just included ham and pineapple) was more expensive than ordering a 2-topping pizza with the same toppings. Apparently the owner didn’t appreciate me pointing that out. He was curt and actually a bit rude. The pizza and fries were both mediocre. It’s a shame really, especially with this place being less than a mile from our house. Oh, and dude– ditch the bluetooth earpiece. Seriously. (edit — mixed up the order with another pizza place we tried)

As I write this review I am chowing down on a most wonderful bowl of chili ordered from Pizzarama last night. I’m always nervous about ordering chili at restaurants because it’s one of my favorite things to eat. So while curiosity was killing the cat in the next room, I asked the lovely lady on the other end what she thought of their chili: «Is it actually good? Be honest» I said. She replied with the enthusiastic, if not expected effusiveness of a proud owner and listed me some of the ingredients. I heard«Pepperoncini» which intrigued me. I figured what could be the worst thing? If don’t like it I would just never order it again. Well much to my delight, this chili is the bomb. Grilled ground beef, dark red kidney beans, a nice blend of spices, tomato chunks, onions and peppers. But there was a surprise ingredient: celery. Odd, I know, but somehow it achieves a happy balance. I might say this is the best chili I’ve ever had, second to my own recipe of course.(For me, I generally like it spicier, but that’s a minor gripe.) The chili was accompanied by 3 packets of Premium-brand saltine crackers. Last night I also ordered a bacon cheeseburger platter and an order of mozzarella sticks. The burger was amazing not for its freshly ground and pound beef(pre-formed patty), but because of the superior roll on which it sits, perfectly cooked bacon and fresh veggies(in December no less!). Oddly, the ingredients seemed upside-down but that actually enabled me to taste more of the bacon which is always a plus. I also applaud their judicious use of mayonnaise. The fries were actually perfect. I had just explained to a friend how fries always arrive disappointingly soggy. Not Pizzarama’s! And I credit the delivery guys(more on them later). I’ve ordered pizza twice now from them and they are by far the best pizza within 50 miles. I always get the extra large with pepperoni, bacon and onion. Best combination of pizza ingredients as far as I’m concerned. Maybe they should call it Justin’s Special. Their dough is both light, airy and crispy, but chewy enough to let you know it’s fresh. The sauce is tantalizingly tangy and sweet. A real solid marinara. I am repeatedly impressed and encouraged by the quality of the food at Pizzarama, but nothing compares to the quality of the people, especially their lightning-quick and courteous delivery team. My hat is off to these guys. Keep up the good work!

Not bad, I had deliverate from them once and I dined in one time. The food is pretty decent. It is ALOT of food. I have had the Chicken Souvlaki Platter each time. It is pretty good. The restaurant is nothing fancy just a little pizza place where you order at the counter and eat in the restaurant.
