Discovery Inn

LMAO to the previous review. I don’t even think we are talking about the same place. If you read ANY other reviews on trip advisor and google reviews, you’ll see the truth. So my complaint is about booking — We booked THREE people so when seeing «deluxe queen» and a picture of two queen beds and saying two queens, we were like okay great plenty of space. Get there to find out that that they had given us a room with ONE queen bed and cannot accept us because there was three of us… and they had no rooms enough for three people. We (Husband, Wife and 9 yr old) had to leave and find somewhere else. The guy at the desk was very understanding and nice but that he wasn’t sure what we would be charged because something about us booking online there were fees associated to that even though why they would accept our reservation when they don’t let more than two people and we clearly booked with three people?
The atmosphere — We arrived at night, and the place was very questionable straight off the bat. It was our fault for not looking up the reviews but by than we were exhausted and just wanted to rest and get some sleep. As we drove in, it was kind of disconcerting to see so many people hanging out side, some smoking on the balcony and others just outright staring at us as we got out of our cars. We definitely did not feel safe here and i was worried about having our cars outside and whether it would be safe.
The overall — From THEIR mistake, we got charged a $ 200 cancellation fee. Yup. That was more than one night there (Though overall we had been planning to stay for 7 days totalling around $ 500-​$ 600) Which BTW — definitely not worth the price they charge.
We ended up staying at The Hampton which wasn’t far and it is BEYOND our expectations. Wonderful place and we are enjoying staying here thoroughly. The prices are around the same but you can tell the difference with staying at a Hilton chain group and … this place.

Great room better then motel 6 has everything that a 3 star hotel does n cheaper then a 3 star hotel room
