40 raw chicken nuggets from drive through. Cold and oily. Never coming back here again.

Drive thru always seems to take awhile even when only 1 car ahead… You drive up… someone is there to collect money but no one sitting in the food pickup… you sit there, no one at the window… like they’re short-staffed and someone is doing double duty. Then maybe 5 minutes later someone pops into the window, looks at order screen and hands you a bag(apparently, thats BEEN sitting there!)…no eye contact, greeting… and then they look at their order screen again and say …“oh is this your drink and hands you a cup”…and thats it. Food is always warm but service is spotty

Located right by the on ramp to Rt.880, customers use the drive thru more at this location of McDonald’s than they use the dine-in option. And for a good reason. It’s convenient to order your breakfast and pick it up at the drive thru and hop right on the freeway. I’ve done it a bunch of times. The parking lot area is small, but it is sufficient for the size of their dining area. The only times I’ve seen it full is when trucks with trailers park sideways. But that is for safety reasons and totally fine. The inside of the dining area for some reasons always has flies. Each and every time I’ve been here, the little flies are always buzzing around. You can hear their buzzing as they fly around you or near the window, if you’re sitting near the front of the entrance area. Also, there are always transient characters hanging around the dining area. They can hang out there for hours and hours on end. I’ve seen and heard customers feel nervous around their presence. I simply mind my business. I figured; the homeless or transient folks don’t bother me, so why bother them? The play area for the kids is rarely used unless you come here during the weekends. The staff is quick and they’ clean the tables in the dining area fairly quick after the customers leave. One thing I don’t get is which«genius» decided to put a charging station for electric cars smack in the front and center of the handicapped parking spaces in the front of the store? The charging cable isn’t even long enough to reach the other parking spots. The charging station has been there for a year and doesn’t look like it has ever been used at all. The charging stations in various Target parking lots are used by electric car drivers because they are easily accessible. For example; the charging stations in the parking lot of Pacific Commons Target in Fremont. They are used regularly. I wouldn’t recommend tourists or those who are new to the area to dine in at this location late at night.

Pretty much like all the rest of the McDonald’s you’ve ever been to. Consistency is the key. Has indoor play area for the kids. The only thing unusual about this place is the fact that if you’re coming northbound on 880 or eastbound on A street, you have to pull a u-turn past McDonald’s on A Street to get here.

After reading some of the other reviews, I must say that I both agree and disagree with some of them. Personally, I’ve never had any issues with my food. The food has never been cold or cooked wrong. And they’ve never forgotten to put in the sauce I asked for. Maybe I’ve been lucky but so far, my experience has been great. I’ve been here at all times during the day and have never experienced heavy traffic. I’ll continue coming back. It’s local, its fast, and it’s cheap. What more could I ask for?

I don’t normally review big chains like McDonalds, since part of their identity is that they’re essentially clones of each other; however, when something stands out, I like to mention it. A customer came in complaining about the grammatical implications of a coupon and how much food it entitled him to receive.(As a grammer geek, I can appreciate that, but really? Over a McDonald’s coupon??) Gabriel(the shift manager) handled the situation calmly, smoothly, and politely, which really imressed me. I did not see any of the problems the previous reviewers did; everything from playland to dining room to bathroom was clean. This location is at least as good if not better than you’ll find anywhere. The only downside is that the driveway only accesses A Street westbound; no entry/exit eastbound.

I work right around the corner from this McDonalds. I have always had a pretty good experience, except for occasional long lines. My food is mostly always hot, and in good shape. There are a lot of other McDonalds that have a reputation for being for awful location. Overall, ok establisment.

Disgusting!!! First of all, the kids play area is FILTHY, Food, throw up stains, you name it — they got it. Do not come here unless you want to risk your child getting meningitis or some other airborne disease. They do not clean this place. The very few times I’ve been here, I’ve had all bad experiences. I’ve even seen a crack head bum washing herself in the bathroom. Proceed with caution if you absolutely have to go to this place. Better yet, bring a knife or tazer gun!

This is the closest McDonalds to my house and probably one of the worse ones anywhere. They are always shorthanded and there’s lines when it’s not even that crowded. The drive-thru is always an adventure. Always check your order before you leave because at least half the time they’ll forget to put your sauce, salad dressing or ketchup in the bag. And the milkshake machine is down more times than I can remember. Fries are fresh maybe 1 out of 4 times. I don’t know why I continue to go here, but I always hope it improves and it has very slightly. The salads are decent and the burgers boring but edible, so a 2 star for the food and 1 star for service, but one note that clinched the 1 star overall rating is that when I was taking the picture here to post on Unilocal, the manager came out and asked me why I was taking the picture of the building. I told him I collect pictures of modern buildings of the west coast. He said if I’m not here to buy anything, to please leave and no more picture taking. I said no problem. Update: The drive-thru is one of those ones where you order face-to-face, not over the loudspeaker, but there’s only one menu before you make the turn to the window and place your order. You have to memorize what you want before you make the big turn to the window. Pretty screwed up system and I wish I didn’t live so close because I really hate coming here!
