Don’t waste your time and money. Coffee is terrible, especially the mochas, the eggs are burnt and severely undercooked, everything else is dripping in grease, and we waited about forty minutes for our food AFTER we ordered. Don’t even bother trying it out.

Came in for lunch with my date. My date ordered a side salad. I ordered a cup of soup, so my date would not feel awkward as she would be eating and I would not. We then ordered our entrees at the same time, assuming the server would serve us our soup and salad before the entrée. We were wrong! The server took her sweet time and our entrees were served first! Then, she asked if I wanted a muffin as she was delivering my entrée. What? Tell me that when I order, I would not have ordered the soup had I known — I would have gladly eaten the muffin while my date was eating her salad. Our server only had one or two open tables in the section we were seated at. She was spending more time away from our section. There’s no reason for servers to be over the entire restaurant — makes the dining experience for customers something other than good. I ordered the Asian chopped Salad. I don’t believe I received that salad. Menu said that the dressing was sesame salad dressing(was not what was delivered) menu said that there would be orange slices(not present). I suspect the server put in the wrong salad. I did not have another thirty minutes to waste, so I ate the salad. The egg shells had not been completely removed from the salad, so I kept hearing and feeling crunching as I ate my salad throughout the entire entrée. The server was noticeably present, once we had our food, but took her ten minutes for our wine and to receive our entrees prior to our appetizers is inexcusable. She apologized for the wine delay stating she thought someone else was covering the bar. They used to have live music there. I know the band manager. All of a sudden, Mini’s canceled the weekly session. The band would have worked things out if Mimi’s had worked with them. Maybe a cover charge for the tables and booths near the band. Maybe specialized desserts with some of the proceeds to pay the band members. Mimi’s had that group for over two years and then slam-bam-thank you-ma’am — kick them to the curb. The band always had a lot of customers in the area that could hear band. Too bad. I enjoyed going there every Wednesday at six pm. Just sad that Corporate jumped in… Updated: the server was so slow and our drinks were served ten minutes after we had first sat down and ordered them. When she did serve my salad entrée, she asked what kind of dressing I wanted. The salad I ordered is supposed to come with sesame salad. She said«no, it does not». She then got me a small amount of dressing of what she I could chose from(not sesame) stating if I wanted more to ask her. How? It would be twenty minutes before I would see her again. I never got the opportunity to ask for more dressing. I had ordered Asian chopped salad. When the server delivered our food and was walking away I Unilocaled«coffee» as my date’s wine was getting low and we had business to attend. Our server really was not observant to the needs of our table and did not ask pertinent questions. I’m almost thinking this could be an episode of «Mom» CBS-TV sitcom, I’m almost afraid to put our servers name here. Our server really put a damper on the dining experience I had. Came in for dinner on 11⁄19 at 5:30 pm and discovered the business was CLOSED!!!

Came here for brunch and ordered the Corned Beef Hash and Eggs. Corned beef was just OK. Has lots of gristle. Eggs were bland. Potatoes just OK. Muffin was good-low fat angel food cake. The meal was $ 10. Not worth it in my opinion. The waitress was nice, her name is Angelica. Don’t think I’ll come back. Sorry. 3 stars for convenience and service. Otherwise, not too great.

I had a wonderful lunch there today. Turkey sandwich included thick slices of turkey, not the processed stuff. It came on a croissant with brie, apple slices and optional apricot chutney, which I slathered on. The apple slices were green and somewhat sour. I opted for onion soup instead of salad; that was only 99 cents more. It was very good, but a little salty. Service was excellent; a staffer opened the doors for us upon arrival and when we left.

I was disappointed. We been to Mimi’s before, although not this location. Café Valarski down the street closed, we usually took La Diabla’s great aunt there for breakfast. The senior menu is very short and not quite a deal. It seemed it took a while to get our food, at least 20 minutes. I was happy with my eggs Benedict on top of a croissant, very tasty. La Diabla asked for her bacon to be well-done. I would think that bacon would be cooked well-done in 20 minutes, it wasn’t. We told our server that the bacon wasn’t well-done, she comp’d the meal which was nice. For the time & money, I don’t think we’ll be back. We’ll be looking for a good breakfast place in Haywierd.

My very first time here. I just couldn’t get myself into this place until emails from them bogo free kept coming every few week or so, now here I am. I came on a Monday about 3pm. Very quiet and we happen to be the only people seated on this right side. I was a little concerned but couldn’t beat the deal. I ordered the artichoke chicken penne and my husband had the classic burger and fries. I absolutely fell in love with the bread, which is some white bundle of joy. My husband fell in love with the muffin bread they give you. I had a few bites of my pasta due to stuffing my face of bread. Mmmm. But the few bites were good. I wish the chicken didn’t somewhat blend in with the pasta I like to see it stand out on top somewhere. It seemed to be tore up in pieces. The burger which i was told had an amazing bread holding it together. Fries decent. The strawberry lemonade could have been sweeter. The sour taste sucked the natural juices from my mouth smh something I can’t explain in detail but was horrible, I added substitutes that finished the job. I must say the customer service here is amazingggg everyone was extremely helpful and attentive. Refills were placed without asking a soul or even thinking where is it. Staff get a little chatty on subjects we shouldn’t have heard but the place is empty it was expected. I will be coming back

ABOVE&BEYONDCUSTOMERSERVICE!!! I went here today to pick up breakfast for my cousin who is currently recovering in Kaiser. I ordered some muffins and they accidentally gave me the wrong ones. I was SHOCKED when I called and they offered to run the right ones over to Kaiser. They actually brought double the mistake! It’s not about what happens when you make mistakes(we all do!) it’s how you resolve them and I will continue to be a FAN of Mimis, just a BIGGER one!

01÷28÷14: My friend told me that when you signed up to receive emails from Mimi’s Café that you would get a coupon for 4 muffins when you purchased $ 5. So, since I like their muffins I decided to give it a try. I signed up on their website and sure enough I got an email a couple of hours later. I then went to Mimi’s café and when I showed them the coupon and told them I wanted to buy $ 5 of muffins and then get my 4 muffins free, the hostess went to get someone else. I explained myself to them again and showed them my phone. He was very nice and told me which muffins they had. I ordered them and sat down. Waited for about 10 min when someone else started ringing me up and asked to see the coupon again. Then what I gather to be the manager(sour face) came and entered whatever code he had to and left. If you don’t like that customers come to redeem coupons that you have out on your website, then you shouldn’t have them! The entire time I felt like I was begging for scraps. I’m sure I would have come back to purchase more muffins in the future, because they are really good and my family enjoys them. But, this experience just completely put me off and now I feel embarrassed to go in there. Why should I have been made to feel that way when I was just redeeming a coupon?!

I hadn’t been to Mimi’s café in years but was craving what I had remembered as comfort food… but I am completely saddened by the changes they’ve made. The Mimi’s I remember(when it was on the other side of the center on Winton) had a great American menu and offered brunches on Sundays. The meatloaf and mashed potatoes were my fave! The Mimi’s of the new decade is French. Nothing wrong with French food(I actually love French cuisine), but this is horrible! The restaurant was large but mostly empty, and yet the service was still sort of slow. There were several employees at the front of the restaurant gossiping. Who can blame them? It was crickets in there. But it’s like group behavior — everyone thinks someone else is going to help you? Hmmm… My sister ordered the slow roasted turkey dish with mashed potatoes: Would you like some turkey and potatoes with your salt? Enough said. I ordered the Boullabaise soup: To their credit, the dish served looked exactly like the menu photo. Unfortunately, the über sea taste quickly killed my excitement and most of the mussels in my bowl were still closed. French soup fail! My grandmother ordered the french dip sandwich: She seemed to enjoy it. At her age I am convinced that her taste buds need a cleaning though. I will NOT be visiting Mimi’s again… heartbreaking!

Rating: 3.5 stars I always wondered about Mimi’s Café. The achetituture of the building always caught my attention, as it represented a cute, cozy little home. When you enter, you’re welcomed by the friendly staff and French theme interior. The ambiance in the restaurant was mediocre as it was filled with elderly individuals and families with kids. One of the ladies opened the door for us, leading us to the 2 hostess’ who seated us immediately. My friend and I came in on a Saturday around noon for brunch, and were seated in a red booth right by the entrance. Before you are given your menu, there are 2 different ones — breakfast & lunch. I wonder why they won’t combine both. –sad face-. Since my friend and I originally came for brunch, we both opted for the breakfast menu. The breakfast menu offers a variety of breakfast meal, such as waffles, french toast, pancakes, benedicts, omelettes, and much more. Some are just french toast by itself, but you can make it a «breakfast» with eggs and such, for an additional $ 3(I think.) I ordered French toast($ 7) with a side of bacon($ 3.60) and a large glass of orange juice($ 3). The French toast was sprinkled with powder, and topped with a piece of butter(that seemed to be melting.). On the side was a little cup of syrup and a small bowl of fruits that consisted of a piece of strawberry, honeydew, and grapes. The French toast was average. Nothing special. I would order this again if I come back. The side of bacon too salty and it seemed a bit overcooked. As for the orange juice, I’ve never heard of a restaurant ordering by size. You can order a small glass for $ 2 or a large glass for $ 3. If you order the glass like I did, your straw is almost the height of the glass, so it’s very close to sinking all the way down. When you get your receipt, you can get a free two-pack of muffins or chocolate croissants when you complete their survey online or through the phone! But it must be within 72 hours. Overall, I will come back again. Service: 5⁄5 Ambiance: 5⁄5 Food: 3⁄5 Oh and be careful if you encounter a crackhead! I was outside in the parking lot(before entering) and I said something to my friend but took a quick glance at some guy who seemed to be passing by us. I guess he heard me say something to my friend and assumed I was talking crap about him, so he started cussing me out. I just decided to ignore him and walk away.

What happened to Mimi’s menu? They’ve totally changed the menu to be more French. Well they have the flair but NOT the flavor. Tournedos Beef: $ 18.49 for 2 tiny(really, it’s tiny) medallions, a heaping serving of mashed potatoes that was mediocre, and broccoli(this was the best). The beef was ok tasting, not worth the price definitely. Seafood Bouillabaisse: $ 13.99 not bad considering you were getting shrimp, mussels, and scallops right? Well they should have named this Potato with seafood Bouillabaisse because there’s a whole lot of potatoes! The flavor was not great either, I ate the seafood mostly because I was hungry and it came with garlic bread which is just their regular bread(from the basket) with some garlic-butter. We also had the Turkey Dinner which I didn’t taste; from what I heard it was alright. I actually liked the kids’ Chicken Tenders; how can you mess that up right? In all, was really disappointed with the new menu and missing flavor. Our server also put our bill out for everyone to see(placed it on our table facing the big party of people next to us). C’mon really? I only docked her $ 1 for it. I should have docked her $ 2 for not filling our water glasses but whatevs, I won’t come back for another year. Maybe then their menu will be different again.

The service was horrible. Was seated but took 20mins for anyone to come over and take our order. It wasnt crowded and most employees were just standing around. When the waitress finally came over I was met with a rude attitude. The menu has changed and I wasn’t aware of what was possible and what was not. Instead of attempting to help she started asking ME questions about what things were called on the menu and to just give her a name of a option. Needless to say we walked out. Will never be coming back here

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed my lunch here today. Our server Mike was super attentive, bonus points for having Cheerios and a baby friendly plate for my 9 month old. I had the corned beef with cinnamon French toast. The corned beef was excellent — it was made in house and nicely crispy on the outside. The French toast was huge. The rest of our party all enjoyed their food too. I’ll be back!

Chain chain chaiiiiiiin Chain restaurants… Love/hate them. I’ve only been here for breakfast. It was by no means bad, but it wasn’t something I’d die for. For sure got the job done. I like that they offer cereal and muffins. Service was fine. Does someone dust all the décor?

I still don’t know the details(3 other places were discussed first), but my mom ended up having her Mother’s Day lunch here. I made the reservations(there were 6 of us, and the reservations were for 3:30), and it thankfully wasn’t an issue that they were made so late(at around 11:30 a.m.). The woman I talked to was even cheerful. Wonderful Hours: Mon-Fri 7 a.m.-10 p.m.; Sat 7 a.m.-11 p.m.; Sun 7 a.m.-10 p.m. We were seated in a corner, and my wife and I felt stupid for bringing our son in his stroller(there was no room for it, and so I brought it back to the car– I forgot to lock the car, but the Lord was looking out for us). I was impressed. The restaurant was pretty packed(a few guys were around when the Warriors wrapped up their game with San Antonio, but the bar was otherwise deserted), but there were plenty of employees around. They also worked well together. The ambiance here is fairly chill(ex: ). The wall art and lighting especially stand out. There was a group of about 16 to our left, but they left before we got our meals. Another group similar in size came in later. Our server was both good and bad. She was friendly and attentive, but my son was never brought a glass of water(my mom asked for one). She also didn’t ask me how I wanted my burger(I talk about this some more in a bit). At the end, she kindly gave each of the moms a $ 10OFF coupon(they’re good until 6/23, and you have to make a «$ 25 Dinner Purchase»). We kept quiet regarding my sister(she’s not a mom, but she is a fan of this place). The orange butter here reminds me of seafood restaurants. Anyway, it’s pretty good. The bread is free here, but, as my sister pointed out, you will probably have to ask for some. We basically received some breadsticks and some brittle cheese bread. I liked the cheese bread okay, but my mom wasn’t a fan(«They shouldn’t give you this»). Pork Chops: I was tempted to order some, but I’m glad that I didn’t. My poor wife did, though, and she found her pork chops to be kind of «sucky suck.» I ate some pieces and have to agree(the meat was cooked well, but it seriously needed some seasoning). My wife also had garlic spinach and seasoned vegetables(you can choose from 2 of 10 sides). She expected more in terms of the latter(she just received broccoli). My sister liked her Turkey Pesto Ciabatta, and it didn’t take her long to finish it. The French Quarter: 7⁄10. My first serving of fries was better than my second(I expected this to be the case, but my plate was taken away before I could finish off my first). In any case, as a whole, my fries were hot, tasty, and nicely seasoned. My patty was the problem. It was way too pink for my taste(our food was brought out after only about 5 minutes). I should have asked for it well done(as I mentioned earlier, our server didn’t ask how I wanted it). My patty was still kind of pink when I got it back over 5 minutes later. It was tasty, but rather small. The servings here have never impressed me. I would otherwise be more likely to order this again(I would actually give a score of 8⁄10 if my patty had been cooked right– my food was basically good in terms of taste). Mimi’s Café caters. The Cinnamon Apple Streusel Muffins are new. They look enticing. The Happiest Hour(daily from 5:30 — 7:30?- I tried to memorize the time, but I could be off): I believe appetizers are as low as $ 2, and you can buy glasses of red or white wine for $ 5. The men’s restroom was clean. They could be a little better, but the servers here work hard and are friendly. In general, though, the food is hit or miss, and the portions could be better. This place has charm, but, once again, I’m going to keep the rating at 3 stars.

Eh. It has been awhile since I have been here and after lunch today I am reminded why. Came in for a business lunch meeting with a coworker around 12PM. I was first to arrive and seated right away. It was not busy at all that is a sign right there. Soon after my coworker arrived. We were greeted by our waitress and she took our drink order. When she returned we ordered lunch. Both chose the chopped cobb salad which comes with a muffin(it is all about the baked muffins and bread here). The food was delivered by a runner about 15 minutes later. Mine was a-okay. My coworkers’ wasn’t. The kitchen didn’t leave off the green onions as requested and the runner didn’t bring the dressing. My coworker removed the green onions and the waitress brought the dressing. The salad was great it has bacon, blue cheese, turkey, tomatoes and green onions. The portion is perfect for lunch. I took my blueberry muffin to-go. The waitress was decent. She messed up the order when he added 1 extra muffin to take home, she brought 2. He didn’t fight it since they are delicious. We had to ask for refills multiple times. Once the check was delivered she had written us off and stopped coming around. Prices are average. Chopped cobb with muffin is $ 9. simple quick lunch. Service is hit or miss, the rest room needed to be cleaned and restocked and a few tables had dirty plates needing to be bused. I noticed employees standing around and chatting amongst themselves. I can see why I get a buy one, get one email almost every week. I miss the way Mimi’s use to be years ago. The muffins are still just as good and will give me a reason to visit.

An addition to our breakfast place escapade. My heart-husband and I both ordered their Country Fried Steak and Eggs. Their coffee was great. I think I had five refills. LOL Their blueberry muffin was yummy! Fluffy and good. Wished there were more blueberries on it. The eggs were okay. I’ve had better. But it was the coffee really. Perhaps it was good that they have a full bar, Baileys please. Not. The place had red and black leather booths. What’s not to like? Those are my favorite colors! :-) I guess the only problem when we were eating were the crying and screeching little tykes at the other tables. Parents couldn’t restrain their kids in a public place. Why do they disrupt other people’s peaceful time? Sheesh. Service was okay. I’d probably go back to this place and try their Santa Fe Omelet with added Bacon. See now I’m drooling.

Yes I did say that I would go to the Dublin location on my last review but it was late and the accountant and I were hungry. We both looked at each other and said. «Let’s give these numb Nutts another chance » We were seated right away and then like I said, we were seated. The waitress who was already overwhelmed with her own tables had another task which was to help and assist the 3 more tables that were given to her. Once the order was taken the food came about 25 more minutes. Finally when the food came I didn’t even want to complain or bitch about it. We ate our food and promptly waited for her to turn to us. Of course that would be asking for too much so I went myself to the bar and paid for my order there on the spot. I just couldn’t wait any longer. I can tell when the food has been sitting under the hot light for minutes and minutes but the wait is just too too long. We were able to look around and see we were not the only ones with a sad face. If you do choose to come here. Make sure that you don’t expect fast service unless you know somebody there and that you will be seated for a longer time waiting then eating your food… Just saying.
