Went for breakfast was very disappointed we sat down a young man brought us drinks but did not give us menus so after a few minutes of not getting menus we took them off the next table decided what we wanted to eat and waited for a waitress needless to say we waited and waited and watched other people come in and get seated after us and have their orders taken so we finally got up and left so we never got to have or breakfast

Sisters is the same place as another restaurant — 3 D’s or something. At any rate — sisters serves breakfast. The place is clean and organized — nicely remodeled and the staff are all friendly. Service is a bit better than the 3 D’s, but still not great. It’s a hit and miss place — sometimes it can be good while other times — not so much!

My mom and I were looking for a place to have brunch, since the first place we went to was closed. I used my phone app and it located this restaurant. At first I thought, what a strange location, but decided to stop there anyway. Well…how do I start… Service was very good. We ordered coffee… not so good. I ordered egg white with spinach and mushroom which was ok and enough to easily feed a family of 5 and hashbrowns. The eggs were cooked in tons of butter which kind of defeated the purpose of ordering egg whites. The restaurant was, how shall I say, OUTDATED and Old looking to say the least. But it was what it was. A restaurant in Hazleton, PA. I would probably look for somewhere else to go for brunch, but remember, your choices are limited.

Good morning ! Breakfast is ready for you at Sisters Restaurant !! I have heard of this establishment’s reputation for quite some time. This includes their history as a restaurant under a different name at another location. Oh boy, this is gonna be great ! With great anticipation and glowing expectations I was excited to finally experience their breakfast offerings. On a Sunday morning, my friend ordered three scrambled eggs which included ham, home fries, and toast for $ 5.35. Then, I ordered a cheese omelet for $ 5.00 with a side order of ham for $ 2.75. Not a bad deal as I saw other customers receiving their breakfasts with generous portions of grilled ham. After relaxing over our coffees, which were promptly served and kept refilled, we received our breakfasts. My friend’s dish arrived with the eggs well done or almost dry, and the home fries rather excessively moist and lacking any fried crispy caramelized goodness. So, well done eggs and bland potatoes don’t make a very good breakfast. More disappointing was my cheese omelet. An omelet is a dish made from beaten eggs quickly cooked with butter or oil in a frying pan and folded around a filling such as cheese, vegetables, meat(often ham), or some combination of the above. But not mine! I received well done scrambled eggs with melted cheese placed on top. There was nothing inside what I expected to be an omelet. I spoke up and informed my waitress exactly what I expected and inquired if this was their standard for an omelet. No problem… they’ll fix it !!! My omelet was graciously replaced with a fresh warm omelet. Sadly, I received the identical omelet, which was nothing more than scrambled eggs with melted cheese on top. I paid $ 7.75 for my scrambled eggs with cheese and my friend paid 5.35 for his scrambled eggs without cheese. Lesson learned: omelet with cheese is $ 2.45 more expensive than the scrambled eggs without cheese but… it’s all the same food Confused? Me too.

Excellent, hot food! Had the spinach and cheese omelet with homefries. Homefries were crispy and made to perfection. The spinach was so good as it was sauteed with what tasted like a garlic sauce. Country style toast was thick and tasty. I went here with my grandparents as it’s one of their favorite places to get a fantastic breakfast until 2pm. Grandpa made a scrapple sandwich out of his scrapple and toast. I was mega impressed over the size of that chunk of scrapple. It looked good and crispy! Portion size will leave you bursting at the seams with a doggie bag to spare! The venue itself has an interesting environment as it’s set on Locust St. Hazleton inside of an old church. I would definitely return to experience the lunch portion of the menu.
