The waitress was extremely nice, suggested a perfect beer. The med rare canjun burger was perfect. My friend loved her chili burger andnonly thouggt it could use more sauciness in the chili. Great bite to eat!

Although I don’t eat Burgers and fries that often, a trip to Healdsburger is worth it. The Burgers are cooked to perfection. French fries too! The meat is clearly well ABOVE standard. The personnel are friendly and accommodating. Rain or shine, it’s a great place to go!

This is a solid burger. Adding an egg makes it even better. Great onion rings

OMG — this place is amazing. Best burgers we’ve had in Sonoma County. The portions are generous, and the food is more fabulous than even the best backyard barbecue. The fries are great, and the sweet potato fries are even better. Friendly staff, with a comfortable seating inside and an awesome, shady, picnic table seating area outside. The one and only problem we’ve encountered each time we return is deciding which burger or chicken sandwich to have because they are all spectacular — juicy and flavorful. But seriously, the only drawback: the flies, who seem to be smart enough to sniff out the delicious food at this place all year round. Even so, just bring a swatter and settle in for a fantastic meal.

I don’t know when I’ll be in Healdsburg again so I’ll put down a review… I ate here last night. It was excellent! Lots of golden brown fries, the potatoes they use are unique to other burger places I’ve eaten at. The burger was close to 8 bucks, it was very good quality. I still might say the in n out 3×2 is still better, but this had a home cooked quality you just can’t get at fast food joints.

Best burger in town. Luckily I’m pretty close by this location. Garlic fries are pretty good. Try a Napa Smith Pilsner to go with your burger.

K guys this is a straight up burger joint. It’s nothing fancy and of course it’s a little spendy for what it is, it is in Healdsburg after all. However, it is totally worth it if you are craving classic burger joint burgers. Let’s face it, there’s not much around Sonoma that can offer this paper wrapped cheesy goodness. It’s either fancy amazing or chain worthy dissapointing, not a lot in the classic middle. Pregnancy gives you strange cravings and while most of the time I eat very healthy, (like to the extreme healthy) occasionally I have to bend to the want for a greasy cheeseburger and chocolate shake. Yes this place was ridden with flies, but let’s face it I’ve been all over town lately and there are flies EVERYWHERE. I can’t escape them neither can a burger joint. Every restaurant, store, workout class, and home I’ve been in lately has had in the minimum 20 flies dive bombing everyone. Thanks Healdsburger for satisfying the primal preggo in me today and I forgive you for the flies only because I saw you doing your best to keep them at bay.

I consider myself a «responsible» *Yelper* and don’t like to give poor reviews after one experience with an establishment so, I commit to update this when I visit again.
1:30 on a Sunday. Not a lot of people. We are told it’s a 30-​min wait. It’s a toasty 86 degrees outside and miserable inside. The young people working there are profusely sweating. The flies are more than plentiful outside while we wait. No ones fault, just take note the fly situation is pretty excessive.
We end up getting our fries close to 50-​minutes after we ordered. The milkshake in the wrong flavor 5-​min after that. The food, a full 10-​minutes after the fries. It’s just not personally how I like to eat (with all my food spread out), cold fries, warm milkshake, etc.
The Aliotto burger is supposed to come on a French bread roll. They ran out and served it to me on two slices of sourdough bread. I would have appreciated them telling me in advance they ran out, and offering options versus trying to pass it off on me when they served it. I went inside and asked for another bun. They offered a refund and I said it was fine, I just wanted a bun which they gladly brought me.
The lamb burger was simply okay, and overcooked. Asked for medium rare got it well done.
The place seems understaffed because there wasn’t the crowds to warrant the excessive wait.
On a positive note; The young people running the place were very kind, and had positive attitudes. They offered good customer service, and were apologetic about all the mishaps. We will try it again, and update the review.

great burger at a modest price. the sourdough burger was served on a gigantic slice of baguette which made the eating of the sandwich quite difficult. i don’t mind a messy burger, in fact, this one was juicy and had lots going for it. the issue was more with the tack of the bread and how difficult it was to bite through given the dimensions of the burger.
the temperature was perfect, the fries were good and the location was great. they’ve got an outside seating area with picnic tables, my dogs loved it.

Unquestionably, the finest quality burger in town, if not the county and best value too!

This place was gross, the dinning room was full of flies buzzing around and dead flies on the window sills, an old fly strip dangles from the ceiling in corner covered in dead flies. The hamburger bun was stale, I could hardly bit into it, and I do have all me teeth. Food quality was
«I have had way better» and in a cleaner environment. The only good thing here is the beer was cold and served by a girl about 16. YIKES not old enough to server alcohol by any means.
I would avoid this place, go to McDonalds it is far better than this filthy place.

I always try to give this place the benefit of the doubt because 2 out of 5 times I have tried it it has been really good! I live close to it it’s easy and we love there outside seating. I just can’t write a good review. We waited 25 mins for a to go order which was fine my daughter just finished swim lessons and we needed to get her home fed and in bed so we couldn’t stay and eat. We get home and I was excited to try there sweet potato fries I open up the bag wait where are they? After taking out all of our burgers from the bag the Sweet potato fries are balled at the bottom of the bag in a ball burnt and soggy GROSS!!! There goes that we are irritated but eat our burgers anyway. Mind you they didn’t get the order right either that has not been the first time that has happened. As we are finishing up I look over at my daughters cheeseburger bun to find raw red hamburger meat on her bun as if the cook was prepping them and touching the buns GROSS again I’m sad I did not see this earlier and hope she doesn’t get sick from it. NEVER going back sloppy food care & sloppy service! I will also be discouraging local family and friends from going there as well! Save your money and go to the Wurst… clean, professional staff and food is yummy!

I happened to be in Healdsburg today and found this place thanks to Unilocal.
The Good– Service was great, outside patio on a nice day. Burgers and fries were fresh.
The Bad– the burgers were a little over cooked, my MR burger came out MW. It was still juicy and delicious so I’m kind of being picky.
The Ugly– The flies! Not the businesses fault but it was bad there must be livestock nearby.
Definitely good place to eat.

The flies have take over this whole place more inside then out please call the board of health… No madder how good the is the flies win with one star … Flyaway from this place… O by the way it cost us 46 dollars two burgers two sides and two drinks …

Great Veggie Burger, fries and the chocolate shake… with syrup all around the edges… yum :)

Had the Alioto’s Sourdough Cheeseburger with grilled onions — fantastic! But what really topped off the meal were the french fries. Hand cut, salty goodness.
Warning — this is one messy burger.

Was in town for work for 1 night and found this place on Unilocal.Food is Fantastic! My boyfriend and I each got a big burger, split a giant chili cheese fry (they cut the potatoes right to order and the chili tastes homemade) and a pitcher of beer all for 41 $ outstanding quality.
All the employees looked to be in high school, even the cook, which amazes me because the customer service and food was outstanding. I’ll be back if I ever find myself in healdsburg again.

I have lived in Healdsburg all my life and had never been to the Healdsburger until last night.
The burgers were amazing! I had the Swiss mushroom burger and my boyfriend had the bacon and blue cheese burger. The fries are thick and actually taste like potatoes. We actually saw them slicing the potatoes as we ordered! You can’t get much more fresh than that!
I was incredible impressed with the Healdsburger.
The location sucks, yeah, but it is definitely a hidden gem.
I’m definitely going back!

Been here a few times since the switch in ownership. While the food is decent, it’s pretty expensive for a hamburger. $ 7.50 for a burger alone, plus fries and a drink, it can add up pretty fast. The worst part is the wait. Every time I have eaten in, the fries come out first then it’s another 10min wait (or more) for your burger. I’d like to eat my fries with my burger, not before or eat cold fries when my burger comes out. Then if you order to go, you might as well call in because you’ll be sitting 30 minutes for a burger and fries.
Decent food, but not worth the price nor service!

Very cool little old school burger stand. Has a really neat outdoor area unfortunately it was way too cold to eat outside on the day I went. The hot dog was delicious and slathered with mayo mustard tons of diced onion and tomato and perfectly grilled. The fries were homemade and very good. I would definitely stop by again if I was in town.
