Just visited Merriam for the first time. Nancy was a gracious host and very knowledgable. I walked in just as she received an email that two of their wines won gold in the Sonoma County Fair and after tasting them I know why! For me the 2010 Cab Franc Jones Valley was the standout — just a great, complex wine, fruit forward but mellowed with five years of aging. Tons of bang for your buck. Definitely recommend taking the time to stop by and visit, you will be glad you made the effort!

I enjoyed every white and red wine, even the rose. There are not too many places where I like their reds, roses and whites. Harry took his time speaking with us and explaining various things about wine. The view from the patio us beautiful. They also carry stonewall kitchen goods, which are soooo good. They also have Casina Rossa seasoned salts, soooo good.

I have been driving by this vineyard for years and often wonder what the exit is. But I usually think of it early in the day or late when I am too soaked in vino to do another tasting. After going to Christopher Creek, we finally found the driveway. Their Rockpile cab with the 93 score was outstanding and I bought 2 bottles. First cabs I bought in years. It reminds me of the 97 cabs from Napa.

Came here today to celebrate our parents 40th anniversary. We had a great time. Robert was great. He was very nice and told us a cool knock knock joke. The wine here is pretry darn good. We love the cab franc. We just had to pick up a bottle. This place is a must see!
