Awesome see Erika she is the best. Lots of information on her wine and the area. A very wise woman who really wants everyone to truly enjoy the riches of the area.

Stopped in after having lunch at the Wurst(sausages and burgers) next door. We were drawn to their outdoor patio with comfy couches and Valentines day special, 2 tastings for $ 14(normally $ 10 or $ 15 per person). The wines are decent(we purchased a Cab and Petit Verdot) and service friendly. If it wasn’t adjacent to our lunch venue I may not go out of my way for it, but we have a toddler and appreciated the outdoor space and laid back atmosphere. Plus they have a super fun photo booth(free!) that does color and B&W pics. Good times, casual and decent wine.

My husband & I had an absolutely amazing time @ Murphy-Goode yesterday. The wine was fabulous, priced very reasonably but the best part was the wonderful Amanda Herrera, Tasting Room Associate !!! She was so fun to taste with, could do stand up comedy for sure but so very personable & cute. The atmosphere of the place was really fun & Amanda tells you all the great stories behind the Vickings memorabilia. We had a 5 star visit and Amanda made that happen for us. Good Luck Amanda to you, Max & your 6’8 honey :) Aloha, Lindsey & Paul Kailua Beach Hawaii

My boyfriend and I came to Healdsburg to wine taste for my birthday. We walked around downtown for a little bit before stumbling upon this tasting room. I knew the name because we sell Liar’s Dice by the bottle at the restaurant where I work. We were lucky to be served by Erika. She is a supervisor and she was amazing! She was incredibly knowledgeable and so much fun! We even played the game Liar’s Dice while we tasted the wine of the same name and even took a bottle home. She was even nice enough to open a bottle of her favorite wine and give us a little taste even though it wasn’t on the tasting menu. The atmosphere there was a lot different than some of the other tasting rooms I’ve been to. Though they are very professional, they give off a much more relaxed and fun-loving vibe. Also, of the three tasting rooms we went to that day, we enjoyed more of the wines overall(like 4 of the 5). Whereas with the other wineries, we MAYBE liked one or two of the choices. It was definitely a very enjoyable experience and we plan to join their wine club. I’ll definitely be making time to go back here.

I love every single one of their wines, so much so that I join the wine club even though I live nowhere near. they have a fun atmosphere including Photo Booth, and the wine pourers are fun as well.

I visited here with my mom while on vacation. The staff was incredibly nice and so generous with allowing customers to try a wide variety of wines. We went home with a Snake Eyes Zinfandel and the Dealers Choice Cabernet.

Love this place! Took only two visits here before I was [easily] convinced to join their wine club. I was taken by the Vikings hats and photo booth =p Their pinot grigio is probably the best one I’ve had — I’m usually more of a red wine fan so I was pleasantly surprised. LOVE their«poker» series of wines, it’s definitely something you need to try if you stop by. The atmosphere of this place is what really sold me. All of the tasting room employees are beyond nice and being right on the square it brings in a good swarm of people.

My bf and I came in for the first time this weekend and we had Pam helping us. She was amazing! We aren’t wine drinkers so we randomly walked into the first tasting room we found. We were very fortunate to walk into this one! We decided to share a tasting. It was like taking a wine class! Pam was so knowledgable about it all. We learned so much about the winery, the wine maker and the process of making wine. We could tell Pam loved her job. So if you want to become more knowledgable while tasting wine, this is the place to go! Be sure to ask for Pam, she such a pro! We enjoyed learning from her. Thanks Pam!

I was pleasantly surprised by Murphy-Goode. Before coming to their tasting room, I only knew of the wine in the stores and I didn’t like it. At their tasting room, I tasted many fantastic wines. In addition, they do have great prices so you can easily buy a few bottles to save for a rainy Tuesday ;) In addition, the location is pretty cool. Right off the Healdsburg Square and they have nice indoor and outdoor seating options. I will definitely return.

Absolutely love it! Love the out door seating area, you don’t feel rushed to finishing sipping your wine! Dana and Maura are full of wine and«Murphy– Goode» knowledge and were able to answer every question! Love coming here on a Saturday afternoon with the friends!

Really disappointed with Murphy Goode this weekend. Normally I will stop in on my way to picking up my La Crema shipment(they are really close to one another). But apparently this remodel they underwent made their service take a nose dive. The staff I dont even recognize and I was just here a few months ago! First of all, they completely overhauled the look of this place. They traded in the stainless steel and purple for some wild wild west décor(what the heck that has to do with vikings –their trademark– I have no idea). Without a doubt they spent a fortune. But its hideous. And now the bathroom is blocked off by some faux wood barn door. Gimme a break. So my friend and I walk in. Bar is crowded(the usual for a Saturday afternoon). There’s a charity event around town so all the places are busy. I get it. We had already been to a couple and were prepared to wait. We were totally not in a rush. But never have I gone into a tasting room and been IGNORED. We sat at their wannabe picnic bench table in the tasting room and watched as people coming after us got served. People sitting right next to us btw. We were asked twice if we were being helped(to which we clearly shook our heads no and said we were still waiting to get served) and two servers nodded and never came back. Its baffling to me that this is a sister company of La Crema, where the service is always spot on. For me, this place has changed into the red headed step child instead. I won’t be back.

Their wait staff was very cool, and helpful. This was our 4th stop of the day, and Dillion was very kind, and helpful. He goes, hey I know you! You’re name’s Anthony, and I’m like WTF, and so does the GF, and 4 other girls with us! So I say where do we know each other? and he explains that he remembers me from one of my least favorite past jobs over 9yrs ago, which is probably why I did not remember him too well. But I was very awkwardly impressed that he remembered me. So, beyond all that… Two of their wines stood out to me: 1. The operation homefront, was a nicely flavored wine. 2. Liar’s dice, also very good. As for the tasting room, it was very commercial, and rather bland compared to other tasting rooms I’ve visited. The space just didn’t give off that down home vibe that others do. But hell its on the Healdsburg square, how much more store front can it get right? We visited for the Healdsburg Chili cook off, and I was very impressed with the Chili that their Chef whipped up. It was a wild boar chili, and was perfectly thick, not overly spicy and the chunks of boar meat made it very hearty! It was the BEST of the 3 chilli’s I had…

We were in town wine tasting and Murphy Goode was our first stop. Everything was awesome! Amanda was very helpful and friendly and we loved all the wine that we tasted. We ended up becoming wine members because of all the perks and because we love all the wines! P. S.The hubby loves his new Viking hat=)

Love M-G chards, always a fan. The sales girls could use a bit of product and sales pitch training, however, I know the wines well enough not to have a rep poorly stumble through the tasting notes. I did purchase a bottle for two reasons: 1) If you buy a bottle, you get the $ 10 tasting fee back 2) You don’t get $ 10 worth of wine during the tasting, no matter how much you tip them. Buy a $ 20 bottle and drink it in the park up the street.

Came back with one of my friends who is a wine club member & we were treated so much better. Jane helped us out with the tasting and she was great! She was very friendly and went above and beyond. I think it’s best to try to sit down at a table and really enjoy your time there, rather than standing at the bar. If you’re in Healdsburg, you should give Murphy-Goode a try. I really enjoyed their Minnesota Cuvee Chardonnay.

*********************** 763 ************************* We were up in Dry Creek for Cyrus and Dry Creek Kitchen business, we walked by here and decided to come in for a try, since we got free tasting from the hotel. Murphy-Goode offers a tasting for only $ 5 wow, I feel special. Sami was cute, friendly and very good at selling the brand. Because I ended up buying a few bottles with 35% OFF, I can’t say no, just to sign up to be their member. Got to take advantage of that. I’m such a sucker for wines, bargain, and beautiful women.(Yes I’m straight) — Murphy-Goode — The fume, Sauvignon bBanc — quite nice, fruity, and drinkable. — Murphy-Goode — Alexander Valley Chardonnay — buttery, fuller, apple, apricot, perfect for many dishes. But I what impressed most was the Murphy-Goode Alexander Valley Petit Verdot 2004 River Ranch, impressive that’s 100% Petit Verdot, you know how rare that is for a California wine? I enjoyed that tasting the most. We will definitely come back soon.

— $ 5 tasting flight or u might get a voucher from somewhere somehow: my voucher was included via a deal from living social Easy to find location. Easy parking and in the middle of DT Healdsburg — with lots to eat and more wineries to taste just walking distance away. Good tasting menu. Decent priced wines. Viking Horns. The lady who served us was very kind! Normally, The winieries I’ve been to charge for a dessert wine/truffle taste shot. Here, she sweetly let us try their dessert wine with a piece of chocolate truffle — can u already tell which wine is MY favorite? Haha — Although it wasnt super busy, it took a while to get a greeting coming in — they were occupied with their small 3 person group. I know it should be nothing to bug me but we just came from busier and even packed tasting rooms that still were able to just quickly say hello to new faces.
