Applebee’s

We have eaten here a couple of times now and it’s just not good. I understand that it’s a chain and the food is not likely to be outstanding but it really is at best just mediocre. Also, a big pet peeve of mine is when you ask a waitress something about the food and they don’t know the answer but give you one anyway. We ordered the Salsa Verde Shredded Brisket Nachos (canned beef btw yuck) and asked the waitress if they had onions on them, before we ordered. She insisted that they did not. We received the nachos and low and behold big chunks of chopped onions. The manager did take them and fix new which was nice of him but the waitress response was that they had never been there before. The manager however said oh yeah they are in the queso, as soon as we told him about it. The wontons are odd because they are mini wontons and so there’s more wrap than filling. The good news? We had gift certificates so we didn’t pay for the meal.

Lunch staff is slooooow, food was good, but how hard is it to make soup and salad.

I’m not a fan of this chain but service was poor beyond normal expectations. I was left dry for five minutes and the refill glass had dirt inside. The person working the host station playing drums on the back on the booth was annoying too. The food was ok just the service lacked mostly.

always great food and a fair price. service slow lots. they took the potato skins off the menu which were my favorite so we don’t go here as much now, great happy hour prices on drinks and appetizers

For a chain restaurant, this was pretty good. We had a gift card so decided to go one night. The server was nice and didn’t make us wait around much even though it was quite busy that night. My husband really loved the burger, because it had jalapeños on it and was spicy. I had the Napa Chicken and Portobello, but was not sure I saw any portobellos at all on my plate. It is one of the weight watchers choices, which I normally would avoid like the plague but had to order due to having gestational diabetes at the moment. It was not very flavorful, but I ordered it for reasons other than awesome flavor, so I guess I wasn’t too disappointed! Husband asked if I stopped eating halfway through the meal because I was full or for lack of interest in the food, to which I answered a little bit of both. The host at the door seemed half asleep and mumbled something at us when we walked out. We still have part of our gift card left so will probably return, hopefully when I can eat something that actually tastes palatable.

The waitress that brought out the food we asked for limes for the wanton tacos — never brought out.
The wanton tacos didn’t have limes and the sauce wasn’t drizzled on it like it’s supposed to.
Our waitress finally brought out the sauce to dip our tacos in and we had to wait for extra napkins – by then we were on our last taco.
Then the waitress kept on saying she would bring out more tea – never happened and she just brought out our check
We have been coming here for a year and service is declining MAJORLY in the last 6 months. We got our check and no pen to sign the receipt with… are you kidding me???
The male host barely acknowledged us like we were an inconvenience walking through the door. And the manager walked up to our table – simply asked how we were and walked away… nothing about how the food was.
Worst restaurant in Heath

I ate here this past friday 8−23−13 Im a trucker and go to Heath from NC regularily and this was my first time at this particular Applebee’s. Being it was late in the evening and I was alone I chose to sit at the bar. The Bar tender was very polite and friendly. She promptly took my dinner order which was the Bourbon Street Steak with Salad. My Salad was delicious and the steak was unbelievably good as always from any Applebee’s but it was even better at this location. The mushroom’s on this particular steak can taste burned if not done right but that was not the case here. They did a wonderful job and I was very pleased. Thank You Applebee’s for a nice dinner.
My Only issue is this… Offer Coke instead of Pepsi please. Some of us prefer Coke instead.
But I give you a Thumbs up and a High Five. Great Food !

Applebee’s is Applebee’s, but this location has Amy, probably one’s of the nicest, friendliest bartenders in Ohio, and effin’ funny

Applebees has changed the menu which is a good thing, but you gotta enhance the experience by asking for Amy at the bar or serving. Worth the price of admission.

I know, I know, I’m giving Applebee’s 4 stars. It’s all for nostalgia, I promise.
Going to school in Granville was a mixed blessing. I loved the charming feel of the town and the utter beauty of the place in October, but it was seriously lacking in dining/​drinking options. That’s where Applebee’s came in handy. My friends and I would travel to Heath on countless occasions to partake in the cheap happy hour specials before really beginning the pregame back on campus. The townies were always so much fun to watch and provided for some great stories. Service was usually mediocre and the wait was often ridiculously long (I mean, this is Applebee’s people!) but I still loved it.
