Maple Cleaners

I have been coming to this dry cleaner for over 13 years and have always been satisfied. But a while back they got new owners and did some remodeling. I think it is a husband and wife team that are always there. When you drop it off they don’t give you a price. You only get a claim ticket that says $ 0.00.
I always drop the same shirts off to be washed and ironed. But I started noticing that when the lady would take the shirts in that the price was always higher than when the man did.
So today I went there to drop off six shirts and the lady (Mari) was working. I asked her up front how much each shirt would be. And she told me $ 5 a shirt. I asked her $ 5 each shirt to wash and iron? And she said that she was going to dry clean all of them for me and it was going to be cheaper than wash and ironing. I then told her that when the guy that works there rings me up it is always cheaper. She laughed and told me that she would give me 10% off. And then she pointed to a zipper a said that dry cleaning would be better for all of the shirts.
I told her no thanks and that I would take my shirts to a competitor. So I drove three blocks up the street. I went in and asked how much to wash and iron each shirt and they told me $ 2.75. And he even gave me 20% off for giving them my email address. So the total came to $ 10.56 instead of over $ 30.
I hate to give any small business’ a bad review but I feel that they are being dishonest.
