worst place ive been to, i just moved here and i work out at anytime fittness next door so i thought i would give it a try go to find out the people working here have only worked in this salon, there entire 1 year career, i should have read the Unilocal reviews, then i would have realized that no matter how bad the service was the owner defends every review and says the person that screwed up was fired thats bs, they all quit!!! after they screwed up my hair couldnt get the color right, overcharged me, subjected me to the worst music, froze me, and the racist comments coming from a 6 foot blond really made me feel uncomfortable and the other stylist the short one cut my hair in 10 mins and never consulted me on what i wanted she told me the owner wants them to go as fast as they can, ok, but there was no one else waiting, i should have known better when you see 12 stations and only 3 occupied, never, never, never go here save your money, there are better salons, on eastern

Liana did my hair and color and did a fantastic job and gave some great advice on how to keep my color looking good and my hair healthy I would highly recommend this salon

I saw the sign on the curb advertising «blow dry bar» $ 25. However I go to «blow dry bars» 3 – 4 times a month either here or when I travel for work.
I had tried this salon years ago and was underwhelmed. However This salon is closer to my house and since it had been perhaps 5 yrs since I had been there — I thought I’d give it a try for a blow dry.
I ask receptionist for a deep conditioner and she said «oh that will be $ 35. (just for conditioner)
I declined.
Stylist Julee said they had another for $ 10.
So she expressly said the blow dry style and conditioner would be $ 35.
(top end of a blow dry bar price range.)
She told me (!)what I wanted as far as style and as she started I corrected her.
no consult.
As I checked out the bill was $ 45. plus tip.
It dawned on me in the car how wrong it was. I called the salon and she flippantly said «well you were in our system so that means it was $ 35. plus $ 10 for conditioner.»
(oh, she never showed me any «special» conditioner she was using.)
Her overall customer service skills were greatly lacking as was the receptionist. The blow dry style was fair .
My bad for not confronting bill at check out and for tipping her… and for giving this place a second chance.

Liana does my hair and I couldn’t have asked a better stylist. She is great with color and does a fantastic job. I am anxious to try their products. They sound wonderrful.

I work out at Anytime Fitness next door and decided to go in to Dushons for a consultation. The receptionist was not accomodating in the least and the salon smelled like a BBQ and it wasn’t lunch time. I asked about the hair extensions and the type of hair. The receptionist was rude, flip and totally not interested in making an appointment or consultation. When I asked for a menu of services, under her breath she said «if you need a menu, you can’t afford us». I was shocked. Shame on you! You only get one chance to make a first impression. Utter fail. If it weren’t for the fact that I happen to work out next door, I’d never know this place existed. It’s a wonder they’re even open.

The salon is nice and everyone is really friendly. The 2 stars is for my cut. I believe a stylist by the name Lisa cut my hair and everything looked great at the salon because she curled it and sprayed so much hairspray that not a hair was out of place. When I washed it and styled it at home with the products they sold to me, my hair was so frizzy and still looked like it was damaged because she used a razor to «blend» my layers. I’ve had stylists use razors before and it never went this bad. I don’t do much to my hair, never been colored of highlighted and my hair isn’t damaged. I went to a different salon and got my hair fixed and the stylist showed me how uneven the cut was. One side of my head was about an inch longer in the back. I will never go back to her or let anyone razor cut my hair. Now I’m spending more money on conditioning and antifrizz products. Wish I went to my normal stylist to begin with. I never will go back.

I went to this Salon based by there reviews which lied!!! I had medium hair one length growing for a bob for my 50^th reunion. Now I have to wear a wig! I had a complete melt down when I got to my car. I called spoke to the owner and she refused to give me a refund. Be careful about this place!!! I would give them a rating of nothing but this site would not allow it so I gave it a one not by choice. The reviews are worthless on this site!!!

Stopped by this week to make a hair appointment and there was nobody at the front desk nor would any of the employees greet me or offer to get the receptionist so I just got in my car and left. Maybe this was a blessing in disguise.

I didnt get the color i want, i wanted a silver highlights but i get yellow hair instead! for 200 $ and its not worth it

She listens to what you want and actually gives you here opinion unlike some hair stylists I’ve been to. I love that because I am very indecisive.
We highlighted, cut, and toned my hair. It looks beautiful and I couldn’t be happier. My cut looked amazing and still even after two months it has grown out beautifully.
Drea personally is such an awesome girl! She is fun, sweet, and easy to talk to. Her customer service is incredible.

Andrea is amazing! I came in with Asian hair problems — hair not lifting ! .(I have really dark thick hair and have tried other stylists multiple times). And she has the solution! (This is the most color i have ever had in my entire life) …I luv my hair! I like the products they use. Gentle and No nasty smell! …Thanks Andrea!!!

This Salon is definitely a 5 star!!! I picked this place to check it out based on the reviews from Unilocal and it was the best investment ever! Lisane Forrello is the owner and she is a true Rock Star! Gifted in customized hair color and hair styling and knows what it takes to run a salon. Everyone there works as a team and is very attentive to customers. Awesome! Jamie rocks too. She is an amazing hair stylist and understands what you want and makes it happen! Ladies listen up! Impeccable customer service. This place is definitely worth checking out!

I had my first visit at the salon last week and found Andrea to be kind, funny and downright perfect. She listened and I ended up with exactly what I wanted. She will be my only hairstylist from now on.
The salon is clean and quite pretty and the prices very reasonable.

I have been seeing lisane since last September when I had been bumped at my normal salon before a business trip, and tried to dye my own hair. Well that turned out horribly and my mom recommended I see her, she was awesome enough to make time for me so last minute.
She totally fixed my hair, and not only that listened to me, and realized I needed cool tones in my hair instead of the copper ones my last colorist kept insisting on putting in my hair. She has been slowly working on getting the copper out of my hair, and I always get loads of compliments each time I leave her chair. I got my hair cut by her for the first time, and it was great, she even said I could have a week to play with it to make sure it was the length I wanted, and could come back if I wanted adjustments.
I appreciate the dedication and passion she has to her craft, and that she gives a good pre consult to really make sure she understands your goals.

I love this Salon. Very Professional. Very neat & tidy. I love the staff and Lisane is the best!!! Just walk-​in. The staff is educated and knowledgable and can meet ALL your needs! Money well spent for all us ladies looking for that bounce in our step when we leave the salon with a smile on!!!

I had bought a groupon for a body wrap by L Marie. I had an appointment for today at 3:15pm. She texted me at 11am to confirm my appointment. I live across town from their location so I left at 2:30pm only to arrive there on time and see that she had left me a voicemail while I was driving. She cancelled the appointment! Saying she had poorly managed her time for the day. She did offer me 2 free body wraps, but that doesn’t help me since I was getting this done for a photoshoot that I have on Sunday. Wasted my time, gas, money, and I had to find a baby sitter. Very disappointed!

Julee Union, hair dresser is AWESOME! Very good with curly hair and color and highlights. She’s also attentive and friendly and cares and also loves her job, which reflects in her attitude. This is also a clean, fun salon and everyone that works there is very nice. Affordable prices too! I’ve been going to Julee for over a year now, and would love to take her with me if it was possible when I move out of state lol!

Called for a last minute walk in appointment for my daughter and I. The gals took great care of us and we will definitely be back

Absolutely recommend this salon.
I’m from out of town and was in bad need of covering my grown out gray roots.
This salon was near our hotel so I called to see if I could get in but it would have to be after 530. Spoke with the owner who was very friendly and very accommodating.
I arrived about 545 and met Lisa M who was going to color my hair. We chatted for a bit about hair color then she proceeded to mix my color. And explained the process of the ammonia free color.
The color turned out perfect and matched my other hair color to a T! Lisa was so knowledgable about hair color and I had an immediate trust in her. My gray roots were gone!
Loved the relaxing shampoo I received and loved the hair products she used. And loved the way she styled my hair. My hair was so silky and shiny.
Next time I’m in Henderson I will definitely make another appointment with Lisa M. At Salon Dushons.

I got the most amazing up do and make up done here for a post Christmas New Years party after the fact. Nice salon using Aveda products. They know what they are doing.
