PLEASE DONE WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! This place is actual trash in the trash can. Man can food get anymore fake these days? When you walk in you feel nasty automatically and then you get your food take one bite and rather starve. Not to sound needy but I advice just going to Bojangles right by china buffet it’s closer and way better. I should just always stick to what I know but I like to be good to my fellow Unilocalers! #stomacheacheforweeks

On the sushi bar there was a live roach crawling on the the sushi. I showed the waitress, she saw it. Then went to chase it down. Lifted the trays of sushi to look for it as the roach disappeared under the tray. AND LEFT THE CONTAMINATED SUSHI ON THE BAR!!! I watched her do this!!! Spoke to the manager he did the same thing.
We got up to leave and the waitress handed us the check? We go a 30% discount. We will not be back and call will be made. This place is a health hazard.

On Saturday November 22^nd 2015 we had a big unpleasure of having lunch at this place. May I just say: one hour after we left the restaurant my wife got severe diarhea, followed by severe vomiting. I followed shortly after. This lasted for 12 hours but our stomachs felt better only one day before Thanksgiving! This was the only food that we ate that day as we spent
whole morning in the nature reserve… Never again.

Alright where do I start??? I must say the food was delicious but… Well you will hear in this review. We came around 6:45 or something like that and, I was very excited to go because I didn’t know that there was much «Asian» food in Hendersonville. So when I got there it looked like pretty much an average
Asian/​sushi buffet. We ordered drinks and went to the buffet. It looked yummy but, then I walked over to the sushi section… This is where it goes downhill. The rice was pretty much a shade of yellow, pink, and green. I was disgusted! Knowing me I got it anyway. I went to the sushi chef and asked if he could make Nigiri (basically fish on top of rice) he said «whaaa???» Then some random dude asked «what’s Nigiri» I shook my head and walked away. It seems these people don’t speak their own language. We ate and started to leave with our stomachs hurting after not eating anything. While my friend went to the counter to get the receipt I went to the «fish pond» thingy. I love fish… And eating them. Lol. Oh, there were fish alright… DEAD! We left disgusted and never wanting to come back in a million years!

My boyfriend and I came here for dinner tonight, and we were both very displeased with the food. I took one bite of lo mein and literally had to spit it back out in my napkin because it was so gross. I took one bite of each thing I grabbed, but couldn’t bring myself to take a second bite of anything except the mango chicken. Aside from the bad food, the place is way overpriced ($ 25 for 2 buffets and 1 drink), and the service was awful. No one came to grab our plates, or even refill our 1 drink. We definitely won’t be going back here.

This place is slimy. Everything I ate was undercooked or cold. The lettuce for the salads was cut in the largest pieces, yet no knives. The staff was friendly when we sat down and then never came back after bringing us our one drink.
A grown kid was allowed to eat in sock feet behind us while walking around the buffet floor-​GROSS!

Pretty much what you’d expect. Good service, food a little «fresher» (hydrated) than most similar places. Sushi was freshly made, but not in the same league as Koi restaurant.

We went on a Monday night at 6:30, what I would consider «dinner» time. The baked scallop were literally cold. The beef stew? Looked like no one had touched it in hours. My favorite chicken and broccoli wasnt on the buffet in its regular place. The business was slow maybe 6 people there so unfortunately they didnt seem to want to put anything fresh out. The quality seems to be going downhill every time I go. I need to stick to ordering from Pekin, $ 25 is a lot to spend to be so disappointed.

Fresh food replenished quickly. Lunch buffet mon –from is 6.75. Same price for to go. Ayce sushi! Yes– and it’s good. Some days it’s more creative than others and they will take requests. They also have a hibachi for when you want to build your own.

Let’s get real, folks, this is an AYCE buffet! You’re not there for gourmet dining. That said, this place is the BEST BUFFET I’ve ever found! It has the finest selection of traditional Chinese dishes, a number of new items each visit, and a great, varied selection of sushi — especially the dinner selections. The scallop mix they serve on a clamshell are worth what you pay for dinner! (Around $ 10 for meal & a drink.) The salad selections are plentiful, with some tasty surprises thrown in. And the dessert table will not disappoint. You leave this place full, yet knowing you ate some very healthy food. Count this family as regulars!

Its good for a buffet. i am still waiting for a really good buffet lol Koi can be a really good buffet but its like any other hit and miss, but this place is better than below average and worth the less than 10 bucks for meal and a drink.

Standard Chinese buffet menu but everything we had was good and not over salty or greasy like it is at some buffets. Service was good and I never had to ask for anything. She was on top of it.
My husband had the hibachi and he said it was good for a Chinese buffet. We were pleased.

I wouldn’t normally give 4 starts to a buffet and there but there are two in town that would get 4 and this is one of them. This place is clean, has clean restrooms and the sushi is the BEST of any bar in town. The only thing that’s lacking that would get it to 5 stars is that they don’t have fried shrimp on the bar. The folks are friendly and helpful and accommodating if you want something specific (on the sushi, anyway). I’m a regular, so this is not just a one time experience. Go eat here; It’s good!

I have eaten at China buffet and enjoyed the food. The food temperatures were correct. The flavors were good. The waitstaff is very friendly and helpful.
addendum, the floors have been covered in grease, i have witnessed the hibachi «chef» pick up food from the garbage skirt and put it back on the grill for the customer. the quality has diminished, i think with change in ownership the restaurant has deteriorated, and will not be back.

I don’t understand all the bad reviews about this place. I have been to pretty much every Chinese buffet around Nashville and this place is by the best one. It’s always clean and so is the bathrooms. The food on the bar is always good and they change up the menu to keep it different. It has by far has the best sushi out of any buffet I have ever been to. The staff is always friendly and your drink will never go empty. I go every Wednesday and have sushi here and actually look forward to going. So seriously trust me on this place and give it a shot before you judge it off the other reviews. Make sure you try the sushi and you will be happy you listened to me. Trust me on these things, when it comes to food… I’m always right!

This was the first time I’ve left a restaurant after two bites. The staff was friendly, the selection was plentiful, and we were optimistic at first. But we soon discovered the food was inedible. Under-​cooked, soggy, chicken. Slimy, rancid, noodles. Poorly cleaned, still frozen shrimp… we couldn’t take it.
I mentioned our disappointment as we paid and left, and there was no apology, no offer to discount our meals, no sign of any concern that we were leaving 5 minutes after arrival. I can’t recommend.
