Some days it would be hit or miss with the food and it appeared to be reheated but other times it is really good.

Pleasant enough. Decent Price. Hibachi or standard greasy spoon are both worth trying.

I have been in many Eat In/Take Out Chinese places, and the food is 98% just OK or OK. However, I was hungry for some Chinese American Food yesterday as I read the reviews here on Unilocal, which nodged me into Wok n Roll. When I walked in, the first thing I noticed in how clean the place was. I walked up to the Counter and could see into the kitchen and it too was really clean. I did let the person behind the Counter know that this was my First time here… So, I decided to go for something off of the Lunch Menu. I order the General Toas Chicken, as I feel this is a GOOD test in how good can they make it. They did not have any Chilies next to it, so I asked for 3 Chili HOT… I had a choice of soup, and I chose the Hot & Sour Soup. I also ordered an additional item, Spring Rolls. I took a seat and he soon brought out the Sweet & Sour Soup. The first thing I noticed was the nice bowl it was in, and it was larger than most in which you get for lunch. When I tasted the soup, it was nice and hot(temperature wise) and extronary in taste. The broth was rich in taste. I have to honestly admit that I have been in some Hign End Chinese Restaurants, and their Hot & Sour was NOT as good as theirs’. I could have eaten another bowl as it was THAT good. My Spring Rolls came out, and they were perfectly cooked with a nice crunch on the outside. Than the General Toas Chicken made it’s way to my table. The first thing I noticed it had Fried Rice on the plate. Not one of my favorites, so I told him, I wish I had known, I would have order the White. So, he offered to bring out the White Rice for me, which I appreciated. Another thing, which I like… they were using nice plates. The General Toas Chicken was really good, and my ONLY objection was… it had NO Chili Heat to it. When I paid, I mentioned this to them, and he said he put 3 spoonfuls in the dish. However, I think he added to someone else’s dish, as I did not see any. They were extremely friendly, and I plan to go back again. The food is a REAL notch above most Take Out Chinese places… If you get a chance, check them out as you get a lot for your money. The Sweet & Sour Soup was Awsome… NO Wifi :-(

I have been to a lot of Chinese restaurants, and the hot and sour soup at Wok n Roll is, bar none, the best I’ve ever had. Service is super friendly, seating area is very clean, and the portion sizes are great. I have thoroughly enjoyed every meal I have had there. If you like«American-Chinese» food, you absolutely can’t go wrong with this place.

I am between 3 and 4 stars on this so I will round up. It’s the right price for lunch and it is good, not awesome… just good and cheap.

if i could give less than one star i would. This restaurant was advertising 99 cent scoop and i was excited to get some rice and chicken for super cheap. BADIDEA. I walk in and look at the options. Everything just looks like its been sitting out for hours. There are flies near the food. I ask for a little of a few items on the menu. I take a bite once I’m in my car and cant swallow anything. It tastes soooo bad. Salty and rubbery. I couldnt even give it away. I know chinese restaurants are hit or miss but this is just uncalled for. Quite honestly THEWORST chinese food i’ve ever tasted in my life.

I eat here at least once a week. The interior is very spartan looking, with linoleum floors, fluorescent lighting, mostly bare walls, and simple tables and chairs, but that does NOT reflect on the quality of the food. I have had all of the soups on the menu — they all have great flavor. A purist might not appreciate the thickness of the wonton wrappers, or the overall viscosity of the hot-n-sour or egg-drop soups, but they will find little to complain about with flavors. The moo-goo gai pan is perfection — the right amount of garlic, veggies, and chicken in a light sauce. For a gluten-free experience, make sure to ask for steamed rice! The rolls are very fresh — they’re made when ordered and the presentation is pretty.

Delicious! I ordered at 2:30 pm. At that time they had a Chinese lunch special«Bourbon Chicken» for $ 5.95 that came with fried rice and a Japanese Lunch Special«Choose any 2 rolls» that came with miso soup for $ 8.25. The sushi was delicious and so was the Bourbon chicken. They also had a deal that you get a free soft drink if you«check in» to the restaurant using Facebook! Total with tax and tip came to $ 17.95!

Came here the first week they opened up and the interior was pretty nice and the service friendly. They have an on-screen menu above the register with some special which were really cool it reminded me of a panda express. You can tell that this place is trying to set themselves apart from your average lifeless chinese takee outee, not only from the interior but the menu selection as well aaaaaand the service. They have a pretty extensive sushi menu and hibachi selection for a chinese take out place i just hope they can keep it all fresh enough. I ordered the butterfly roll, rainbow roll, scallop hibachi, stir fried chicken udon, house special lo mein, four seasons, and the appetizer sampler all for about 60 bucks. Yes it was a lot of food and fed 2 people for 3 days. the portion sizes are above average My favorite part of the meal was probably the scallop hibachi which also comes with side salad with ginger dressing, hibachi vegetables hibachi rice and miso soup, this i would probably go back for(extra white sauce of course!). they have a flat top grill so the flavors are there it tastes just like the 25 – 40 dollar meal you would pay at a teppanyaki restaurant. Yeah you don’t get a flaming volcano but sometimes i don’t feel like having someone trying to throw shrimp in my mouth! I just want to eat! and wok and roll does it for me. the other dishes were ok i’ve had better though. Four seasons was listed under their chef specialties but the brown sauce was really lacking flavor, the udon was ok gets kind of starchy after a while(i’d prefer a soup). As someone stated in another review the spare ribs were over fried and dry it was practically inedible, same goes for beef on a stick. Their lunch special doesn’t seem like much of a deal considering their prices are comparable to other take out places but only include your choice of white rice or chicken fried rice. No choice of soup, soda, or egg roll. Maybe the portions are bigger, who knows? So why the four stars? Because i’m a fan of their cheaper than your high end hibachi dishes and accompaniments. Everyone in there was super nice and accomodating. I believe they will work out the kinks.

so I was really excited that a new place opened up close to work that delivers and has Japanese AND Chinese and sushi! So we tried it out, the chicken on a stick is more like charcoal on a stick and the ribs were burnt cartildge on a stick. Of you see you burnt the meat that bad then don’t send it out in the hopes that the customers are polite enough not to send it back. so the egg rolls weren’t burnt so I figured, who could screw up an egg roll? Well apparently this restaurant can. It tasted like water. NOTASTE. So I added their sweet and sour sauce… Which ALSO tasted like water. Disgusting. And if you are dining in, they give u paper plates –_– Will def never be going back and will def never let my friends go there. Stay away guys, or you will waste ur time and money. Can’t believe u could screw up Chinese food.
