Michelle’s Salon

Renee fixed my color which I had messed up with home coloring and bleaching. And she gave me a cool haircut. I trust this salon. They were helpful and non-​judgemental.

Jennifer the aesthetician is EVERYTHING… From waxes to facials to laser hair removal… She does it all and does it very well if I should say so myself… She’s gentle and very personable and I love her! I have been with her for about 6 years now and I am not going anywhere. She’s definitely a great addition to Michelle’s Salon.

I have been going to Michelle’s salon for over eight years now. Always a great salon, everyone is friendly and makes you feel welcome when you walk in the door. I usually get my hair done with Renee D. but our schedule did not work out this last time so I went out of my element and picked another hair dresser in the salon as I needed my hair done before vacation. I am very picky about my hair and I was nervous, but it needed to be done! I choose to let Hanna
it and OMG can I say AMAZING! She did such a great job, I was blown away with my highlight. WOOHOO so happy!

OMG horrible almost totally ruined my hair and charged me to fix it !!! Than they had the decency to tell me I criticized them on telling them how to do my hair because I know how I get it done ! This is all after I sent them about two more customers! Wouldn’t even give this place one star if I had the option!

We moved to Mount Juliet Dec. 1, 2011 and I thought it would take quite a while to find another hair stylist that does my hair in a way that would not make me cry every time I look at it.
WELL– I found that place, and that stylist! May I introduce hair magician Shannon Wiseman… Ta-​Da!
I will start this with an explanation of my hair: thin, crappy, and lacks luster and body. When I walk out form getting my hair done, it’s like it’s someone else’s hair altogether. She «makes out» with my hair, and my hair loves her!
OK, aside from all that. The cuts are reasonable priced, and the salon is nice too. Easy to get to (right next to Home Depot in Hermitage).
Shannon has some funky hours, Thurs are her only late night… Hey, hey, hey… don’t go scooping up on my time ladies! She also has daytime hours available.
Give her a ring and she will make your hair sing!

4 days later; still hate my hair. no one should have to face this much frustration in the morning. i have gone from doing my hair in less than 10 minutes to spending 30 – 40 minutes trying to tame the unwanted layers. i would expect a decent business to offer a refund for such dissatisfaction. if i had purchased an actual product and had been this displeased, i would have returned it. but one can’t glue hair back on and it will take over a year for the top portion to grow back out to what it should have been if the cut had been done right in the first place…

My fiancé introduced me to this salon over 5 years ago when I first moved to Nashville. He had such a difficult time finding a salon that would cut his hair «just right» and he ended up loving it here. He is quite picky so the fact that he’s been coming here for 6 years says a lot.
Our hair stylist Judalon is a fabulous southern woman that is almost as entertaining as she is a great stylist. I love coming here to chat her up and usually tag along with my fiancé when he comes just so I can see her. Also, the prices here are amazing. I pay $ 35 for a haircut. I’ve heard of my friends paying double, sometimes more, for a haircut in the city. Honestly. my hair isn’t worth that much and I think mine looks just as good as theirs after their $ 70 haircut.
