I’m a mixed girl with tight-​curly-​frizzy hair, and she’s able to straighten my hair with just a blowout.
And she does great color too! I’m sitting in her chair right now getting a BRIGHT RED ombré and I loooooove it!!!

So i was referred to Mrs Julie by a friend, after telling my friend about all my hair horror stories thus far in the South Bay, she said I needed to try her hair lady and so I did. I scheduled my appt online was so easy and when i arrived at my hair appt I wasn’t sure what exactly I wanted, told her i was pleased with my overall color and wanted to try something that was a little more low maintenance. So she suggested a balayage where she pretty much just blended my dark roots into my lighter color and I love it. I was NOT disappointed, my hair felt so healthy and great after leaving, I couldn’t help but toss my hair all day. Love it. I highly recommend her

I love that Julie always listens. On my last visit to her I asked for an updated «today» haircut that was still age appropriate. She came up with the perfect cut! Julie also does a superb color on my hair that reflects my personality as well as suits my natural color. Her place is comfortable and inviting and its always fun to interact with the other people in the salon.

Needed to have my hair styled as here visiting from Texas and leave for Australia on Friday!

I first found Julie by falling in love with her work on Instagram, after a couple weeks of following and wishing it was my hair in the posts, I set up an appointment! I’m glad I did. It is so difficult to find the perfect hair dresser but I found mine! She is so easy to talk to and she really cares for her clients. She was super understanding when I begged her to keep my length for my hair cut lol She tells it like it is because she knows what is best for baby fine hair, like mine, to be at its healthiest. It’s important for me to develop that trust with my hair dresser, because how my hair looks is a big deal! She kept in mind which blonde would suit my skin tone the best, and how to dye it based off how I regularly part my hair. In the end, she left me w the perfect tone, just like the pictures I showed her. It’s been 5 months since I have gone in for ANY maintenance & I still get complimented on my hair. That should say something. She loves what she does and that’s what sets her apart from the rest!

My very first visit to Julie this summer made me a believer! I have been to so many salons in the SoBay and never had a truly satisfying experience-​which in my opinion is loving your hair when you walk out the door as well as your stylist.
I came to Julie with a big task. I wanted my naturally dark hair lightened into a natural looking balyage. I was traumatized by my last experience coloring my hair so I was very adamant about the ash tones I wanted and Julie understood and basically held my hand through the process. I felt confident in her work and I was not disappointed. I love my hair and I’ve come back to her a few more times since. She is very honest and detailed about telling you how to care for your hair for maximum results.
In a nutshell I found my hair person and if you see her so will you!

Julie has been doing my hair for almost 3 years now and she is a GODDESS. When I first came to her I had a very specific look in mind and she was not only patient with me but she worked to perfect my hair color. She also helped me figure out what products to use because I have had some problems with washing my hair too much. She helped answer all of my question and really eased my nerves about any big changes I was going to make with my color. She is also such a joy to be around and the salon is so cute. I highly recommend her for your hair care needs.

Love my hair! Julie dyed my hair purple and it came out amazing! It faded to different colors after using blue shampoo which looked really cool! Now she dyed it back to blonde and cut my bangs! I love how it looks! She explained everything she did and made sure to keep my hair healthy while making it look awesome!

I started going to Julie for blow out and regular trims. I was unhappy with my previous hair dresser as far as my hair color so I recently decided to take the plunge and let Julie color my hair and not I’m so glad I did! She literally transformed me hair! Ive been working with Julie for about 3 months now. The first time I met her was for balayage but my hair was in no condition for that. Julie was honest enough to tell me that if she dyed my hair that same day, my hair would be even more damaged so instead, she gave me the alternative of doing treatments of my hair for 2 months before I got any color in it. Thanks to Julie, my hair is way more healthy than it was months and ago and I finally got to start the coloring process She saved my hair. If I never met her, my hair would still be horrible.
