Ordered a home delivery. Food reached on time. But the food tasted so bland. Almost no seasoning on food. Ordered general chicken and got orange chicken!!! Found egg shells on the fried rice. I don’t recommend this place at all.

I called after I checked into my hotel late Sunday night. They were closing in 15 minutes but delivered past closing which I thought was amazing. Second the food was so good. I had the potstickers and chicken lo mein and both were great. I would definitely recommend and order here again.

Food is decent. Never gotten sick from it, so I come back. I like their lo mein and recently tried their General Tso’s shrimp. Ate till I was full!

I think I ordered the wrong thing here and would’ve loved what I almost ordered. I got Orange Chicken and should’ve gotten Kung Pao Chicken. I say that because the orange sauce was great — spicy dark and with a really nice zip to it. The chicken on the other hand was so heavily breaded that some pieces felt like they were all breading. So I suspect the Kung Pao — which isn’t breaded would’ve been much better. The manager and server were both friendly and helpful. So three stars. Great taste but need to limit the cook from overdoing the cornstarch.

My family and I order from here often, and the food is consistent and good! We order the Vegetable Delight, Chicken in Garlic Sauce, Chicken and Vegetables, and Chicken Corn Soup. The spring rolls are ok. Service is good and efficient. They cook the food quickly and it’s always available when we pick it up.

I do not understand why there are so many«Chinese» restaurants in the area and no «Chinese» food in any of them. The poor quality is what sticks me. I hate to review a restaurant in the context of such poor competition, but Chopsticks is the best place to get Chinese grub inside Herndon. I usually measure a Chinese restaurant against the quality of its dumplings. It’s not much from which to jump, but I love dumplings; Chopsticks has led the pack in that area. Customer service is par and they have an online ordering system(I recommend calling in and asking for the balance AND receipt) that needs to stay updated.

Solid Chineese Delivery. Great noodles and Thai — not so good crispy beef :(But Thai dishes are fresh veggies and chicken so will keep these guys. Hot n Sour also right on!

This is our standby for chinese.(I’ve never tried the Japanese stuff). Very consistent, very good, super-friendly, affordable and quick with basic seating, take out, and delivery. General Tso and Kung Pao are standouts.

Worst food I had in years. We used to go here when my office was in the neighborhood and my recent visit clearly showed a real decrease in quality. The chicken dish contained a few tidbits of tough chicken mixed with lots of carrots, celery and small mushrooms. I would have ordered the sushi but I could see it was not very fresh.

This is the go to place for Chinese take out for my boyfriend and I. This review is just for take out I’ve never actually been to the restaurant. The price is fairly decent and the quality of food is good but not amazing. We usually order general Tso chicken and it has always been good.(The salt and pepper chicken has too much onions and green peppers in it and also the wonton soup was disappointing). The reason why I order here is because they give me free California rolls with purchase over $ 25. I would rate this place 3 stars but the extra star is for the delivery guy… he’s always fast and he comes right to our door in a high security apartment complex that you need to buzz in and out.(every other delivery guys just call us from the front door because they don’t want to deal with security or just lazy… who knows)

Stopped into chopsticks because it was convenient to my job and I was in the mood for sushi. The name says Chinese and Japanese cuisine. The gentleman who greeted us looked like the manger or owner; he was friendly. It was pretty dead in there. Everyone sitting down looked like an employee. They were folding napkins and organizing silverware. Maybe most of their business is in carry out? I ordered a volcano roll and a sushi lunch special(hungry… Don’t judge). The prices were moderate and the service was pretty quick. The flavor and presentation of the roles was adequate. Not the best sushi I’ve had; not the worst. I’d really rate them a 3.5 based off that I saw some reviews of folks who really love their Chinese carry out so I’ll probably try that next time to see if it’s more their speciality. And since they deliver, that’ll be convenient when colder weather hits. Will update review at that time.

I really like this place! They are close to my office so I come here often. The service is great, and they are quick with getting orders out. I always order the hot and sour soup and the hunan shrimp. Their hot and sour soup is delicious. It has the right color, consistency, ingredients, and taste, compared to other places that will serve water down soup with mostly tofu. They use real large sized shrimps in their hunan. I think this is important bc some places will use frozen baby shrimp which just taste awful. The lunch specials are good, and everything is reasonable priced.

I LOVE Chopsticks, mostly because, they deliver to my house. What’s better than delivery sushi? It’s good sushi too. I recommend the Volcano Roll and the Godzilla Roll. The B2 Maki is pretty good as well, it’s different. I love tuna/avocado rolls, they make it special for me and it’s perfect. They have very good Chinese food as well. My 2YO loves their chicken fried rice.

Chopsticks is a middle of the road, quiet place to go for Chinese. The place is always empty when we go which is typically weekends for dinner. I am guessing they must do a bigger lunch business or take out. Their menu has sushi and some Thai selections in addition to typical Chinese. We have stayed with their Chinese selections. Pretty basic — this time I had the Triple Delight — shrimp, beef, chicken sauteed with vegetables in chef’s special Hunan sauce. Beef and chicken were tender which isn’t always the case with Chinese. Veggies were primarily broccoli with a few bamboo shoots and some carrots, baby corn and water chestnuts. The second dish we had was the Mongolian chicken. Chicken was tender but the sauce was too sweet and it was heavy on the onions and peppers. Not our favorite choice. We also always get spring rolls. They are always fresh and hot. In the past we have also tried the Chicken in Garlic Sauce and the MuShu Pork. Both were very good. The Sweet and Sour Chicken is pretty standard.

We’re going downhill! I’ve been back a few more times… this place has become the office go-to over the past year or more… but unfortunately, the quality has been going downhill in my opinion. The general Tsos chicken was just not good. The sauce was bad, like too sour. The Hunan pork I got most recently was okay, but forgettable. it was just a boring brown sauce that was strangely thick in some parts and not thick in others. Had no depth to it… Even my favorite go-to, the Thai Basil dish was very very greasy/oily and lacked it’s usual delciousness last time I had it. :( The spring rolls with the lunch special are still pretty weak and not a selling point(in fact, a couple of my coworkers will usually give me theirs since they don’t like em – and I’m a human food disposal) I’m sorry to say it, but I’ve been venturing away from Chopsticks lately. Looking at the latest menu(compared to an old menu I had), it looks like they also bumped their price up a little bit — hey, I can’t blame them for that… inflation is here. All things considered. I will probably still order from here because my coworkers like the easy online ordering system… but when I fly solo for Chinese food, I have some other spots that I’m starting to prefer in this town… Sorry Chopsticks. I feel like I’ve been striking out with you guys lately! Hopefully things will turn around. :-/

I just got back from here, but I want to wipe it from my memory. One of my coworkers was like, «Go to Chopsticks» after I said I wanted Chinese food. I’m re-evaluating our friendship, currently. The place looks a little run down. I ignored that. I was seated at a table. I ordered wonton soup. The soup has zero flavor and the wontons are kinda meh as well. Then, I ordered the lunch special sesame chicken and spring roll with white rice. It came out quickly. Ewwww. Just, ewwwwww! Everything is pre-cooked. So my Sesame Chicken was already cooked and just had sauce thrown on it when I ordered it. Yucko! So I sent it back, because it tasted old. I opted for the Hunan Chicken, which was marginally better. But all of it let me know that I won’t be back here. At all. I don’t give a damn if it IS fast. There’s a reason for that.

2.5 Stars. I wrote a review in August 2013 but Unilocal just deleted it some time last week. How do I know? Because I read it just about a week ago as I was deciding whether or not I wanted to try this place again over my usual cheap China King. When I wrote to Unilocal they told me I most likely didn’t make the review filter, which is weird because I’d been fine for about a year. You can see they didn’t take down my pictures, but all of a sudden they sure didn’t like my review. Chopsticks is an okay place.

You’re not going to get much more food for the price. The containers I’ve gotten have sometimes been a sturdier round black plastic, which is much better than styrofoam. I’ve gotten food ranging from maybe 4⁄10 to 7⁄10. It depends on what you order I guess.
