Firehouse Subs

Best subs ever, great friendly service, and clean nice restaurant. My boyfriend are I are definitely regulars and always will be

I went here around 8:30pm on a Tuesday. I thought I could get a quick sub after practice, but no… apparently there was some big order, at 8:30pm in front of me. And confusion reigned. I wish they would have told me, I’d have gone elsewhere. They only worked on said large order. When I asked them where my sub was, I could hear the two women talking about how confused they were with the order and didn’t know what was what. I asked for a refund and I’d leave if my food wasn’t going to appear any time soon. They said all it needed was the toppings… so I waited and waited. And got angry and the soda machine had no ice and the syrup was messed up, which is perplexing since it’s one of those magic Coke machines. Finally they brought out the sub and there was a nearly invisible line of mustard on it and were snarky when I asked for more. So I say NEVER GO HERE, they were awful and their customer service was awful. My friend refuses to go to the Firehouse in Chantilly for terrible service, I’ve not had the problem at that location, but this one for sure.

Upon entering I was greeted which is uncommon and a plus. The cashier taking my order was very thorough and explained what was on the sandwich I ordered. The person making my sandwich (Casey) brought it to my table immediately after making it. The sandwich was delicious. I had the hero sub. The place is clean and so was the bathroom! I also had a red velvet cookie which was great. I am from Massachusetts so I’m use to quick ordering and unfriendly people taking orders but this place is superb! Will definitely come again.

Friendly staff and fresh subs. Went in when it was busy and the staff were very attentive, nice and took each order with a passion and made each sub with pride. Must admit food was served in the correct temperature and the restaurant was clean.

Only avoiding a 1 star rating because the subs are decent.
I have never, in the handful of times that I called in an order, gotten the correct order. Ever. Despite the fact that the receipt even says on it precisely what I ordered. Not good!
That in addition to the insanely long wait if you don’t call it in make this a 2 star place.
I would consider changing my review if I knew how they plan to fix the order taking process so I get what I asked for.

The first time that I tried this place, I was in a hurry. I was told that my food would be ready in 5 minutes. At 10minutes, I inquired about my order and asked to cancel it. I was told just a few minutes, that it’d be faster to wait than canel. After 15minutes, I was finally given my order. I took it and left only to find out after arriving home that it was completely wrong. I just decided never to return. Months later I received a coupon for a free sandwich. I gave them another try and the sandwich was decent. So, I decided to forgive. On my third visit, the sandwich was missing the cheese. On my fourth attempt, I was in a hurry again. So, I thought I’d call my order in for faster pickup. I was asked to hold because there was a customer in the store. Over 5 minutes later, I was almost at the location and still on hold. I finally gave up.
This place’s food is average but the service is pretty bad, even for fast food.

Love Firehouse subs. Theres one by my house that I frequent and reviewed, so I was excited when they opened 1 close to where I work in Herndon. As always the subs are all awesome, I always go with the italian on wheat.
The difference here is the service is much better at this one. And thats saying a lot bc the service at the other location is really good. The ppl here welcome you as soon as you come in and are really nice. Big compliments to Kelcie who helped me today and was awesome

Friendly welcoming staff. Excellent customer service. Best sandwiches around — made the way you like them!!! Yummy!

20 minutes for a sub. This place won’t happen again… Folks clearly confused by the orders.

Never coming here again at lunch time. They have 6 people making sandwiches and no ones order is coming out correctly. I’ve been waiting 20 minutes and there are still about 5 or 6 people ahead of me…

Mayonnaise haters beware. They slather it on whether you ask for it or not. Always fun to find that out after you’ve driven back to the office with your sandwich…

I eat here a lot because my kid loves it. My order has always been correct and the food has always tasted delicious. Had a bunch of their different subs and all were good. And they also have a lighter fare menu which I’ve never paid attention to, but, someone who doesn’t want a sub would prob enjoy it. The staff has always been friendly and seem to work hard to keep the place clean and organized. The soda machines are pretty cool and they have a good selection of hot sauces to choose from if you’re a hot sauce kind of person. TV’s at each end of the seating area usually showing sports channels is is OK by me. I also like that they have a program where you can punch your phone number into the credit card swiper and it keeps track of your purchases and you get a free sub on maybe the 8^th visit (not sure which visit it is but it’s somewhere right around 8).

I have never really been one for subs except for an awesome steak and cheese until Firehouse subs opened. I’m really surprised as I normally hate chains. I would recommend bypassing the medium size and just go for the large. I tried the medium and it wasn’t really worth the price. I am one that welcomes leftovers. The NY Steamer has been my favorite. Today I tried the beef and cheddar brisket. Very good as well. I get mine fully involved as I like lettuce, tomato, onion and mayo. I hope they continue to make big and delicious subs.

I have been to this location twice, both times they got my order wrong, the first time I caught it while I was still there.
Now fool me one, blame one you, fool me twice, blame on me. I should have checked my food, especially after having the wrong sandwich the first time. But I didn’t think it was necessary when the lady called out my order when she handed it to me. I didn’t notice it was wrong until I had gotten back to my office and was at my desk. I guess from now on, if I do come back here, I will make sure to eat it here, or double check my meal while I am still there.

Came here for lunch. Very clean. I got the medium beef and cheddar sub. The club was very good and the roll was fresh. I wish there was more beef in the sandwich. Since my friend got some kind of Turkey sub and there was so much meat, I was expecting something similar. The meal came out to over $ 9. A bit pricy. Im assuming the cup I got was a medium cup. Lordie, the cup was huge. Their coke machines say they can dispense up to 120 different coke products. I would suggest getting a small drink and just go back for refills. I also got a bag of chips.

Very clean, employees are respectful, and food quality is excellent. Keep up the good work!

Very close to work and replaces a failed wing joint. Everything inside is new to include two of those new coke machines with all the flavors. Also in these machines is a cherry limeade drink that appears to be for firehouse subs only (mildly interesting). Got a medium sub with chips and a drink, comes with a free pickle. Their medium drink size is huge, the large must be insane. The sandwich was pretty good, I’d get a large next time. Really enjoyed the capt Sorenson sauce.

This place is a chain so the food is the normal Firehouse Subs menu, but the service is outstanding. The staff was kind and helpful and the service was quick. We enjoyed our meal!
