Worst food and even worse service, food very bland. Ended up taking back the shrimp flat bread plate. Server just shrugged her shoulders like whatever. She didn’t refill our water even once. We ended up leaving that place very disappointed! Never again!!!

For once, I am completely eye to eye with the other reviewers(albeit there are only two) right from the get-go. Normally, we’re not at the hotel during the hours Ox is open, but we recognized the menu as the same one offered at the Cardinal Lounge which is the sister restaurant open during evening hours. The Portobello Mushroom and homemade chips, of course, I will endorse here as I did there, but the buffet was nasty and $ 15 to boot. Today was Asian day. The chicken chow mein was bland, the rice tasted like Uncle Ben’s, the stir fried vegetables were no longer green and the sweet & sour pork was mostly fat. I enjoyed the chicken and rice soup but everything was so incredibly salty! My co-worker and I are trading texts right now describing how lousy we feel, bloated and kind of sick. Lesson learned: at Dulles Hilton stick with the 5th floor lounge offerings or just a sandwich from the restaurants. Yuk… :(

I was stuck at the Dulles Hilton due to a United layover and this was the only food available. Unfuotunatelt they know this. I find it highly uncommon to have such an experience at any Hilton but perhaps due to the monopoly they aren’t particularly concerned with their customers experience. The waiter was incredibly difficult to track down. I saw multiple people enter, become confused about seating, sit down, wait for a waiter, and then leave. The entire hotel was admittedly run like this. The staff is incredibly pleasant but only when you can find them. I got a fish sandwich which was just eh. The price was a little high, and due to the lack of waiter problem I couldn’t get a water refill. All in all given that people are trying to travel I would think the service would be a bit faster. I had to go look for the waiter to pay so that i could catch the bus.

It’s the only restaurant in the Dulles Hilton and I had the misfortune of going to all day meetings there. It’s an old restaurant, the food is over priced, and the food is bland. The waitstaff is friendly, which is the only positive thing I can say about the restaurant.
