Where do I start.
Table of two, not busy
1. Watched our server put his fingers in the inside of the glasses he was serving
2. Took 5+ minutes to get our drinks
3. When we did get our drinks:
A. Bartender did not know how to make a Gin Ricky, and the attempt at one was awful straight gin!
B. New speciality cocktail, watermelon something Sour and no garnish. Okay maybe I’m being picky but the fresh watermelon garnish is what enticed me
4. Watched a host move dirty glasses from one table to another
5 busser cleaned table with a filthy towel
6. Food arrived: poor not up to standard
7 no QC
8. Had to wait additional 15min to get out of here while we waited for server to bring check!!!
Save your money, this is disappointing, can’t count on the chain to be consistent :-(

Server Sean was nice but the guy name Farhad at the bar acting like an asshole; just ask for a lime which is not going inside the bottle because it’s too big and when I asked he was so upset about it; he was yelling the other side of the bar. He needs to be out of there.

Being so close to work I will occasionally find myself at Fridays for lunch. It’s always easy to pick something out, they have a big menu and lots of it sounds really good. For the most part, in my experiences, the food never lives up to the pictures or descriptions from the menu. It’s all passable and that’s really my overall opinion of the food. I can’t speak to the drinks or bar atmosphere as I’m always here during work hours.

The Reptilian Prince was not pleased with the dreadful waiting. I shall bring my army from the North to put down this foul restaurant into oblivion. I was not greeted nor treated like the prince I am.

Best TGI Friday’s I’ve ever been to! My service has been wonderful. I chose the recommended berry mojito mixer cocktail and it was delicious. The manager Natale is extremely outgoing and made sure my dining experience was up to par. Bartender was also kind and gave good recommendations. For dinner, I opted for the Jack Daniels flat-​Iron steak and shrimp with fresh broccoli and mashed potatoes. The steak came out perfect and I’m very satisfied with my experience at this location. Will be coming back in the near future!

Service is okay but totally worth it for the brownie explosion!!! The location is nice, it’s in Herndon right next to the movie theater so if you want a quick drink nice spot to stop

TGIF might want to simplify their coupons and deals since it seems to confuse staff at this restaurant. Went here because we had printed out one of their many email coupons. Our waitress told us about the refillable appetizers and some other menu deal. We showed her the coupon we had and asked if the coupon would be valid if we ordered any of the things she mentioned. I know that some of the time Fridays does not combine coupons and menu deals which is why I asked. The waitress took the coupon and went to ask someone and when she came back she told us it was ok. We ordered our food and everything was good. Finished up and asked for the check and it seemed to take a long while. Then a blond haired manager comes over and starts giving us a hard time about how the coupon couldn’t be combined with what were ordered, blah blah blah. And I told her that we had asked the waitress if it was ok before we ever ordered anything but go ahead and add whatever to the bill and I’ll pay it. She said she went ahead and put the coupon on the check which made me wonder why she was even over there talking to us. If we are getting what we expected to on the bill then their is no problem for us and no reason for a manager to approach us and gave us a hard time. It was nice of her to give us the coupon even though the waitress had told us it was fine. But, we had just finished a nice meal and really didn’t need to hear the stuff she was saying. If the waitress or the person the waitress talked to made a mistake, tell them. Not me. I don’t work for you and really don’t need to hear it. If the coupons are that complicated then come up with a better system. Was def a bad ending to a dinner And now we never go anymore. Anytime it’s suggested we say no and decide on a different place.

For the most part this is a pretty typical Fridays location, with the exception of the service which is significantly below par and really hampers the entire experience.
The restaurant itself is clean with totally acceptable décor. The food consists mostly of American bar food and it’s mostly solid if uninspired. I will mention that the burgers tend to be pretty low quality given their cost, I would be hesitant to get any burgers or steaks here.
The biggest issue is that the service at this location is just incredibly slow. Everything from taking our orders to getting our food out to bringing us our checks takes longer than it should, especially considering there were fewer than a dozen customers in the entire restaurant. It makes for a really frustrating experience when you’re just trying to get a quick bite to eat during your lunch hour and it takes 10+ minutes after you sit down to even see your waitress.
If you have a lot of time to kill and are craving some fried bar food, then maybe give Fridays a shot. Otherwise there are better options out there.

If I could give negative stars I would! This place is HORRIBLE! I’m a college student and I went there with some friends and none of the servers would serve us… Even when we complained to the host. This was so unprofessional and rude to be honest! The waiter who had our table kept skipping over us and served people who were arriving after us so we left. I’ll never go there again! I even asked one of the waitresses who I had went to highschool with why any wouldn’t serve us and she said because they thought we wouldn’t tip! I was baffled! I cannot believe they have people like this working for them! Definitely calling corporate!

Worst Friday’s in the world and I’ve been to them all over the world. Bad food bad service bad clientele bad atmosphere.

So I have to admit I went to Fridays last night after my bestie begged me. For the past 3 years I haven’t even given this restaurant chain a second glance. Poor food and worse service at so many various locations taught me a lesson: Avoid Fridays-​Be Happy! However the Herndon location definitely made me satisfied and actually looking forward to another visit. First off, their happy hour –food and beverages are shockingly inexpensive! I can remember my last Friday’s meal being overpriced and unappealing. So I ordered a fresh strawberry daiquiri and it lived up to its name! It was light, very fresh and a thirst quencher. Good deal! We also ordered potstickers as a shared appetizer. They come 6 to an order and while they weren’t amazing –they were pretty good. An easy appetizer before the grand finale! So I skimmed the menu but I generally order the same entrees from my past visits. This time was no different –I ordered the chicken tenders (yes I’m an adult of 25 years old-​please don’t judge me) and subbed the fries for loaded mashed potatoes. Wow! They were better than I remember — the chicken was incredibly hot and fresh-​the potatoes were warm with melted cheddar, real bacon, and chives-​yum! And you can’t visit a Fridays without a side of Jack Daniels sauce. I cleared my plate! My best friend ordered her usual-​Jack Daniels Fried Shrimp entrée and loaded mashed potatoes as well. I will be returning in the near future to test if this really is an exceptional location or if last night was just a really good night for them!

I guess I shouldn’t have high expectations for Friday’s. Service is what can be expected. Ours waiter was rushing and forgetting to bring back items we asked for. We started off with the appetizer plater, the potatoes skins (basically a glop of cheddar and 3 crumbles of bacon on a potato. gross, wings which my friends had no complaints of same with the green bean fries. For the entrée I had the chicken bruschetta pasta and asked for an Alfredo sauce instead of marinara, and a side of Mac n cheese. The pasta was undercooked and the chicken over cooked. And the Mac n cheese was plain disgusting. My other friend had the ribs which were actually really good, not fall off the bone good but you get the point. My other friend had chicken tenders, a simple dish that was also to her liking. I guess I just picked he wrong items. Still wouldn’t return to this location.

Food is over-​salted and too spicy. Jack Danniels burger tastes like piece of salt I even can feel how it crack on my teeth. However managers reacted really fast and personnel are very nice. So if salt proportion will be fixed — it will be nice place to visit.

We attempted eating at Friday’s this evening after taking a few years off. We were amazingly unimpressed. To start off our family was seated in the seat NO one wants to sit in, the one right next to the bathroom. We had a server that couldn’t have cared less about our table. It was some of the worst service we have had at any restaurant. We ordered 2 appetizers since we had small children with us and would have enjoyed eating something early. After about 20 minutes, our server brought out our ENTREES and no appetizers. We asked about the appetizers and he just shrugged and asked what we ordered.
The food was less than desirable. Two people at the table ordered the Jack Chicken and Shrimp meal for $ 17 each. The chicken was barely 4oz and the 6 sad looking shrimp appeared to have been microwaved. The Parmesan fries were soggy and the sauce was not pleasant. Additionally, the broccoli that was provided was a just one large piece, barely cooked, and not cut up. Just a chunk of broccoli.
I had the Bourbon chicken meal with 2 sides for $ 11. Again a HUGE disappointment with the dry 4oz chicken and undercooked broccoli. The mac and cheese is the only good thing that we had and that was for my toddler.
The server only returned 1 time during the entire meal to get us drinks and continued to forget items that we had requested. The only timely thing he provided was the check.
For future reference, this Friday’s may be a good place for beer and appetizers only. We’ll never know since we never tasted them.

Terrible place to dine. Been there twice with a group of of 10 people. Both time we placed our orders within 15 minutes of arriving, waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for our food to come out. The places wasn’t even packed. I blame management for this awful service!!!

Ribs with shrimps tasted very good. Desserts were also good. However, the bathroom was too nasty… i came in and there was a toilet that got stuck and overthrown with shit all over the place… the whole bathroom smelled like shit. Totally ruined my mood for the night and my appetite. At least put a notice on the door or get a crew to clean it up right away. But no. the door was left open and nasty! Would have given 4 stars but the nasty scene ruined my taste and mood

Nice place to hang out for a beer. The wing is spicy as it says in the menu. It’s not like some places that they tell you it’s spicy and yet it comes out mild.
The bartenders are chill and makes their regulars well recognized and served well. They will need to work on new customers though.

This location has gone down hill and I will no longer be dining here. First of all, our waiter didn’t do a very good job of waiting. I’m not expecting a high class experience but it took at least 15 minutes before my boyfriend and I were even asked what We wanted to drink. The waiter never checked up on the food once we actually got it. My burger was so greasy/​bloody it leaked all over the plate, as shown in my picture. Items I asked to NOT be in my burger (like pickles) were in my burger and I had to pick them out. It even took a long time to get the check after it was asked for.
My previous visit here was bad as well. At that time my order took quite long to receive because the kitchen lost /​misplaced the gluten free buns. By the time my food arrived, the rest of my party (my boyfriend) was ½ way through his meal when he discovered a long hair in his burger. At least the manager came by and comped his meal for the hairy experience.
This location used to be much better. I don’t know wtf happened? It’s very disappointing and I hope they change things around for the better.

I’ve been going to TGIF for years mainly because of the awesome happy hour that they have, but I must admit they’ve reconfigured the menu a couple of times and overall the has gotten a lot better
The Burgers are pretty good, the pastas are good and the Apps are all good, especially at happy hour when they’re ½ off and the the bas area is always live
Now they actually just got bought out so I don’t know what to expect in the near future but overall Fridays is a good spot to chill, drink and get some basic food

I don’t hate TGI Fridays, nor do I love it. I’m generally impartial as far as chain restaurants go as I know what to expect.
I’ve been to this location a few times over the past few years and had decent service, but they’ve since changed their menu and have removed a lot of the lighter options (wraps). It’s never been great, but it’s definitely gotten worse. All of our food was drenched in grease and oils, to the point the hamburger buns were so thoroughly soaked they were dissolving. When you’re eating and notice giant globular pools of grease forming in your food it’s rather off-​putting and turns you off from eating.
Our waitress was a bit of a mix. One of my companions ordered their «unlimited» appetizers, but was told right off the board that if he shares one (or we take one) she has to stop serving him completely. Are potato skins THAT important that they need to come with a disclaimer you’re going to stop serving us if somebody liberates an appetizer? If I’m paying for his unlimited appetizer and I take one why are we punished?
She later came back and told us that her manager was encouraging them to be the food police, but that felt rather awkward. Order a meal, get a warning! At least the warning was complimentary.
My wife wanted to try their chicken salad, but it came with cranberries (she’s not a fan of ‘em). We asked if it was possible to have the cranberries removed and were told it’s pre-​made, and then our waitress added she’s not going to personally remove the cranberries from our order. Uh, okay? We didn’t ask you to do that, but that’s good to know.
In short: bad service, overly greasy, oily food. I figure my pictures can speak for themselves.
Disappointment level: chartreuse.
