This place looks way better in the pictures than it actually is. The French fries are soggy and crinkle cut, the barn fries are served with fake stadium cheese, and the burgers are frozen are over done. It wasn’t a terrible meal but I wouldn’t come back here.

We had lunch here once before and the food was good. This time the food was bad. My salmon was so over salted I couldn’t eat 1 bite. Also, I ordered grilled salmon, they served it to me microwaved, very tough. The fruit on my plate was not fresh. My daughter had tasty cut fries last time with her chicken, thought we would get those again, instead they served us frozen fries out of the bag. All our orders tasted like frozen food not fresh. The only item they didn’t ruin was my mom’s french toast. When we were there was no one else in the restaurant. The person cooking this time was not the same and the food was not the same. Too bad because we always make an effort to support small local places. The waitress took my salmon off the bill and we gave the waitress a good tip, it wasn’t her fault the food was bad. We won’t eat here again.

Breakfast ‘n Brunch The«Olé» Barn is one of the best places in this Area. It is only a small place on McGovern Rd in Dauphin county. but as usual places like this are the best places to eat. As you can see in the pictures the portions are humongous. My boyfriend could not finish what was on his plate. I had the meatlovers Omlet. My boyfriend had the honky eggs and 1 side of sausage and 1 side of sausage gravy. Everything was delicious. Staff very friendly. Place very clean.

The Olé Barn has a very sporty, casual atmosphere and offers excellent pricing with more than generous portion sizes. The food quality is certainly above average. I dined here for breakfast and liked, but didn’t love, my order of sausage gravy over biscuits, but that is more a matter of preference than anything. I only wish that they add some baked oatmeal to their menu – a restaurant in this area without it? Preposterous!

Went here for breakfast, all food was very good. The chipped beef with biscuit, scrapple was great and the kids loved thief GIANT pancakes. The atmosphere is good with a lot of reclaimed barn wood and hockey jerseys. Got to speak to the owner, Mark, and he was very nice. He said they just got their liqueur license. I’ll be trying it for dinner when they get the beer in!

The food was fresh, delicious and filling. The syrup is not maple but it’s forgivable. The service was nice and swift. The ambiance was homey and relaxed. Very good rainy morning at the Olé Barn!

Have had breakfast here about 6 times. They have many screens here for watching sports. Food is good, presented well. The potatoes are good but have an odd taste to me, not sure what it is.

I have NO idea why we’ve passed this place up so often. I could throw a rock from my backyard and hit their sign… but, for some reason we never stopped here. I wish we would’ve done so when it opened. Great food, terrific service, and a «cool but homey» atmosphere. Are they going for«sports bar»? Yes. Are they going for«family dining»? Yes. And I’m OK with that. My wife ordered a hot ham-‘n-cheese on a pretzel bun, and devoured every bite. The fries were hot, cooked perfectly, and did a great job of accompanying the sandwich. I ordered one of their 6-oz burgers, with lettuce, cheddar, and BBQ sauce. It was(without a doubt) one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. With another great burger joint in town(Top That), you have to really«up» your game if you’re layin’ out the meat… and The Olé Barn does a great job. Highly, highly impressed. We will certainly come back in the very near future and bring the kids.

This place is quality food at a reasonable price. Its clean. Good service and quick. Plus they have free WiFi and outlets right by the tables so that’s a plus. Our waitress was very sweet and young. Must be the daughter of the owner. Then food was yummy and served on nice plates with a little decoration of food on all of the dishes. Definitely coming back if I’m in the area!

Welcoming Canadian outpost feel, replete with signed hockey jerseys all over the place — expected since the owner is a former NHL goalie, Marc D’Amour. Except for the fact that no Flyers jerseys hang there(yet) despite Philly being closer to Hershey than either Pittsburgh(Lemieux) or Montréal and St. Louis(Gretzky). All made up for by the great food, welcoming staff and cool butt things my Diet Coke and Maple Syrup came in. Fifth star may come once the Clarkie and Bernie jerseys hang from their rightful place. Well worth the stop.

We were visiting HersheyPark and wanted someplace for dinner that wasn’t a chain and wasn’t so close it would be mobbed by the other tourists and discovered several listings for the Olé Barn. Not too far from the park, although those long Pennsylvania roads does make it seem further away than it is. This place is very clean and not very big. I can see the parking lot easily filling up and forcing people to park alongside the busy road. It is on a long stretch so traffic can easily be seen. They have recently changed ownership, but this apparently is still the place to come see hockey games(many of the jerseys are unfortunately autographed«To Shakey’s». I’m sure it will become a hockey-watching destination once they get their liquor license approved, but for now they can emphasize their family friendly atmosphere. The food here is definitely fantastic. My burger was perfectly cooked and hand made. I did not notice on the menu that there was an extra charge for some of the many toppings they offer, but maybe it is there and I didn’t see it. My wife really enjoyed the her fried fish sandwich, raving about the perfectly tender and tasty fish with the crispy coating. Her sandwich came with wonderful thick crispy potato chips, and I wish my burger had come with those instead of the plate of uninspired French fries. So some details aren’t perfect, but they emphasize the important parts. A great place to go after the park, or to watch a game, or just to enjoy yourself.

We were pleasantly surprised. The omelettes were delicious. The service was fast and friendly. The only negative was that the potatoes need seasoning. The sign says«family dining» but the atmosphere says«sports bar.» It’s a little strange but good nonetheless.

We went to this restaurant for the first time and had breakfast. It looks like a sports bar and is decorated rustic, but charming. We had eggs Benedict and stuffed French toast. Wow, the best eggs Benedict that I have ever had. The stuffed French toast was so delicious. Prices are very reasonable, and the service was great as well. Will definitely go back again!

We happened upon this delightful spot on our way home from a visit to Hershey(for a Hershey Bears game, with my two hockey-obsessed kids). What a great find! The food was delicious — freshly prepared, and very generous portions. Bonus points for hockey books to read while you wait for your food, too. In fitting hockey fashion, my 6-year-old lost a tooth while we were eating lunch, and the waitress was happy to provide a lidded condiment container to keep it safe on our ride home. We hope to make the annual trip a tradition, and will continue to include a stop here as long as they are open!

We were here once before when it was called«campbelltown café» and were very disappointed. But it’s been completely remodeled with new owners and new management and has a great Hershey Bears hockey theme. It’s still in the process of extending it’s hours, but for now they serve breakfast and lunch. The owner said they plan to start staying open later soon and will have drinks at the bar in the future as well. We came for lunch. We ordered cheese sticks which were actually pretty great. They were more like little pouches of cheese than your run of the mill mozzarella sticks. Crunchy with a light dusting of Parmesan cheese. Husband ordered the BBQ/cheddar sliders, and I ordered a standard cheeseburger with fries. Burgers were moist and flavorful and buns were nicely toasted with a slightly sweet taste to them. Fries were good– hand cut –didn’t steal the attention away from the burgers, which is where it should be. Total bill was $ 24 for 2 people, which I thought to be quite reasonable. After speaking with the owner, we found out that he used to play for the Hershey bears himself awhile ago, and even played in the NHL as well. So glad to have found a local place that is truly unique, and cannot wait to come back more often.
