A1 Grill Teriyaki & Roll

New to the area and was looking for a good Teryaki spot. Found A1 and I must say that the food is great. Freshly made dishes and the sushi rolls are awsome!

Blows Flame Broiler and Waba Grill out of the water! The meat is tender and the rice is perfect. Keep up the good work!

Great place it’s kinda like waba grill or flame broiler only better and way more items on the menu. They also bring the food to your table which is nice. Nice place to eat and the costumer service was great. I will definitely be a return customer. Loved it!

A1 is definitely worth checking out. Their terriyaki beef plate is really good. And the sushi rolls are made fresh. All the food is large portion sizes, and very tasty. The workers are friendly and welcoming, and I would definitely go again… in fact, I have

Stopped by here a couple time over the last week, and I must say the teriyaki bowls are amazing. I usually order without rice and they still fill the bowl up with the veggies. What really makes A1 stand out are the quality of vegetables they use and how they prepare them. Just about every teriyaki joint has great chicken and steak, but this is the best veggies I’ve had. If you like teriyaki, you deserve to try A1. I’ve also had their sushi, and it’s definitely good, but not as good as other options out there.

Every time I have been here I have always been greeted friendly, and the food has always been amazing.

Had the chicken teriyaki bowl and it was really good. Great Unilocal find here I will be back.

We didn’t even realize they where still closed the door was open and they were not open for another 30 mins they welcomed us and where very kind. Food was very good, service was very good. Very kid friendly me and my family will be back! !

I alway get the chicken and rice they wanted to change me 50 for hot sauce. they only give you one hot sauce. I ask for some more hot sauce and the lady said 50 cent for hot sauce. I look at her and said NM. I when to the Food of less and Bought a bottle of Sriracha for 1.99 SMH VERY very Disappointed

We ordered the teriyaki chicken special and the #4 Hoji Mountain roll.
The teriyaki chicken was good. It was served on rice, with salad (didn’t care for dressing), California roll, and fresh fruit. The California roll was okay. The fresh fruit was a couple slices of apple and orange.
The Hoji Mountain roll was so large around that it was awkward to eat. Because of the diameter, it was difficult to enjoy the blend of flavor that would happen if the diameter were smaller.
Missed out on the wasabi usually made available with rolls.
I think I’d skip the roll next time… But would come again for teriyaki.

Absolutely in LOVE with this place!!! It’s incredibly delicious. I had the Shrimp love roll and their new Vegetable Chow Mien, it was to die for! I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Greatly satisfying, and OMG their soup is the B.O.M.B As well Love Love Love!

The food is amazing! I love it! And the employees are so nice be helpful! The teriyaki beef is my favorite! The rolls are very good as well the chicken and the beef rolls are good and are a must try

WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN! The beef was burnt and when I tried to come back to get a new meal, they tried to say we ate too much. We took two bites of our bowls and discovered the meat was burnt. The owner and manager were straight calling me a liar and arguing with me. It’s really sad because I really loved that place.

Wow, pretty good. I was surprised to be honest, but they have really great crunch rolls! And veggie and rice bowls as well, for us veggie lovers :)

I wanted to try this place because I wanted a bowl and a sushi roll. I was very very happy with the bowl I ordered the beef and chicken bowl. I liked the sesame seeds and green onions on top. I did more sauce. The chicken was more shredded than chopped but still very good. The bowl came with miso soup which was also very good. I ordered two rolls, the crunchy room and the California roll. Both were good for a non sushi place and very big. I had to take some home it was a lot of food. The rolls had a lot of crab in them but again very big. You could get full of one order. There lights were not all on but I can appreciate not wasting energy. The staff was very nice and helpful. They explained the menu and items very well. I will return. They have a driver thru. Would like to see more people eat here they do have great bowls and great prices.

Stopped in to this place for the first time. They have a drive thru and an inside dining room. We decided to eat in as the dining room was nice clean and spacious. We had several rolls that were good portion and fairly priced. We also had a beef bowl and salmon bowl both were delicious with good portions. Again very fairly priced. For the road we decided to have some green ice cream that was fantastic! I would definitely recommend this place and hope it makes it so that when I visit the high desert I have a good fast food with healthy menu. Will definitely return and too bad there are not more of these places down the hill.

It used to be a fast food Chinese place. Now it’s a terriyaki bowl, shrimp bowl, California roll, veggie roll place. Nice clean and fast. And they do have drive-​thru so that’s convenient. Think they close at 9pm. Think they have free wifi. Close to freeway, so good option if you’re traveling on the 15.
There are many terriyaki bowl places in high desert, but I like A1 Grill Teriyaki & Roll the best, because food is fresh, healthy, and it’s the only place that doesn’t drown the food in thick terriyaki sauce, so not overly sweet.
Some of you may like sweet sugar for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and that’s perfectly fine, please go ahead and ask for extra terriyaki sauce for the sugar to have with your sugary Coke and sugary cereal and sugary pop tarts. But if you’re like me and have a family history of diabetes and you’re watching sugar in-​take, A1 Terriyaki fits the bill.
When it comes to terriyaki bowls, I think the division is going to be whether or not you like sugar sweet terriyaki sauce drenched all over your food vs. lightly drizzled terriyaki sauce here. :)
Terriyaki sauce, btw, is just soy sauce and honey mixed in together. I accidentally found out cooking at home, lol. I’m sure everybody has those 2 ingredients in their cupboard right now, ha-​ha.

This place is an awesome environment. This is my first time I had the number one Teriyaki chicken plate it comes with rice and teriyaki chicken, two slices of both apples and oranges, salad (no ranch) lol and a California roll (4pc) and I soup. The food is amazing.

This is the second time I tried this place since it’s close to work. Lights were off when I walked in and wasn’t sure if they were closed or not at 1:15pm during the day. They were open and I ordered the Chicken Veggie Bowl with no green onions and no mushrooms. Got a mushroom in the bowl but was small and I even confirmed there were no mushrooms before leaving since I got it to go.
The vegetables were semi fresh and rice was cooked well. The chicken was very close to being undercooked but not pink. The chicken was pretty much tasteless so make sure you grab extra sauce.
The health board rating on the door displays an A rating but it is for the last restaurant that was there which was Dragon Express and was dated from 4 months ago.
Was not brave enough to try the sushi rolls but overall the place was clean from what I could see with the lights off lol.
This place is ok but is definitely not a Flame Broiler!
