Denny’s

I am giving two stars for the following reasons.
1. No nachos & ice cream.
2. No silverware we had to ask for it.
3. Dirty cups.
4. The celery looked old.
Besides those four issues the staff was friendly and pleasant.
Side note: a little music would have lightened the mood in the restaurant :)

You can never go wrong with this American Classic. Now the food and the service is a hit or a miss but that’s not why I come here it. I’m just forever grateful of this place for feeding me and my drunk friends anytime we stumble in.

Mix reviews on this place but I am giving it four stars based on my food being on point the two times that I have been (saving grace).
The first time at this establishment it took 30 minutes to get a drink due to there only being one attendant and there being like 20 people to service. The manager on duty didn’t help out. They brought coffee around for the coffee drinkers but everyone else was kind of «shit out of luck.» When my drink finally did get taken, so did my meal order. My buddy ordered a coke and got a fruit bowl. Kind of funny but not. It got fix. Luckily our food didn’t take long and it was pretty darn good.
My second trip the service was a little better but still i over heard the waitress complaining about being by herself until someone got called in. The food was on point that time as well, so no complaint my second trip.
I had the Sante Fe skillet and it is was amazing and on my second trip i had the chicken fried steak eggs and home fries. So… so far I’m not dissatisfied with this location and will give them another try.

Terrible service!!! We were starving and had to leave and walk to IHOP, because no one at Denny’s could even be bothered to take our order. I came in with my friend and boyfriend starving after camping at the hot springs. We were seated immediately and it wasn’t busy, but once seated, we were literally left sitting at the booth waiting without even being offered water, while employees stared at us without saying a word. They didn’t say I’ll be right with you, nothing — they seriously just stared at us while clearing off dirty tables, they couldn’t even smile, but rudely stared at us. I stared back, hoping for some kind of acknowledgement or to be offered water or to be told, «I’ll be with you in a moment»… even a smile would have been nice, but they were looking at us like we were aliens. Granted we had been camping, so we weren’t dressed in our Sunday best, but that is no excuse for their complete and utter rude behavior. After all this isn’t fine dining and hey — isn’t this supposed to be «America’s Dinner»?? It was really insulting to be treated so poorly! We walked across the street to IHOP, got great service and left our server a bigger tip than the cost of our breakfast — we aren’t cheapskates. Lesson to the servers over at Denny’s — do not judge a book by its cover and treat all of your guests with respect — without them, you have no job. I’ll never go to Denny’s again, their employees are incredibly rude and lazy.

I was so desperately hungry I had the shakes!
Stopped at my local Dennys, My plate was Dam Good maybe I was just to hungry?
Very little crowd but my Server was no where to be found. The booths were average clean my table outlet was Dirty drink splashes/​stains but no biggie, I will be back to try breakfast or quick bite.

Wonderful service good portions friendly server came back several times. Had butter on French toast, not wanted, so received new batch

Went to Denny’s and had a great dinner with my family… Evelyn was an amazing waitress that went above and beyond for everyone that she served… She did her job with a smile and not only that but a great attitude… if you do go here I do hope you get her. There are not many people with a personality that keeps the moral of a business up. Thank you for loving your job and doing it with great poise!!! You are the real MVP… Management should be knocking on your door :) thank you sooo much!!!

Excellent service and good food! Came for dinner around 7:00 p.m.on a Satuday evening (travelling). Place is clean, staff is cheerful, service excellent — and of course, Denny’s prices are reasonable. Within walking distance from Springhill Suites and Marriott Courtyard.

I see all these reviews people leave and people think it’s a fast food restaurant! Come on people if you don’t like waiting ⁵⁄₁₀ min for a drink go to McDonald’s ! But any ways it’s a great Denny’s to come to I live in Victorville and love coming to the one here on Main Street because they are always less busier ! And also to service is great, every one that has attended us for the past 3 years they been great!

We had breakfast and it was great but the restroom was very dirty. The waitress was so friendly.

Went there on Sunday to have breakfast with the family. I’m kind of torn to write this review, because customer service was TOP NOTCH, but the food, not so much.
Our food was good, and it didn’t take very long to come out. But the sampler we ordered was the only bad thing… the chicken strips were still raw from the inside. My 2 yr old daughter, almost ate them, but i noticed they were shiny from the inside, because we split it open for her, because it was hot. The inside of the chicken strips were raw… completely raw.
Lupe was our waitress, and she did an excellent job of taking care of us and our chicken problem. The manager, didn’t catch her name, also came and comped the sampler for us, and brought us a new batch of strips. Overall I gave a 3 star for the customer service and the food, but the uncooked chicken made me remove 2 stars… I will be back if I am in the area, but I have to check the chicken first…

Gone a couple of times since they renovated it and its great friendly servers clean and great food and open 24hrs a day yum.
One thing though is that late at night it does seem like a bunch of friends hanging out all servers just chit chat and make jokes. Some servers do stay out of it and do their jobs

Stopped off here for breakfast while on the road. I was seated fast, they took my order fast, they brought out my food fast, everything was great. food was good. Service was good, definitely recommend this place.

If there was a no stars option, I’d choose it. Because the experience here was horrible.
We were seated right away, which was nice. But when my boyfriend and I ordered a vanilla coke and a cherry dr. Pepper, it took 10 minutes to walk 10 feet and get our drinks, which came to us completely wrong.
Once we ordered, I could clearly see that our food was at the window ready to be served to us, and our waiter stopped and looked at our food, and proceeded to walk past it 4 – 5 times. To which another server ended up giving us our food.
We ordered a custom burger and a bacon burger but received the wrong burger and on different plates. Our server paid almost no attention to us and the whole atmosphere was a bunch of friends stuck at work not employees at a business.
We enjoy Denny’s but this place gives the company such a bad reputation it should be completely restaffed. If you are reading this it’s already a warning to go eat somewhere else.

Every time I go to Denny’s I swear I won’t go back ever. They service is horrible the management is rude to the poor employees who are running around with zero help from the manager. I swear the manager was giving orders to the poor girls who were already busy as can be. The manager never once lifted her finger to help. I was shocked. The manager than took her break to go outside to meet with a boyfriend/​husband. They smoked and talked for a while as the customers sat without food, servers were running crazy, and I was about to walkout.
I am glad the manager had her flirt break with her man. She stunk up the restaurant when she can back in.
I won’t be back and I was shocked at the service that I received.
I am not a person who writes bad reviews but this is one place that needed it.

We arrived at 9pm. Employee greeted us and we asked to sit near the window our vehicles were near so that we could keep an eye on something in the truck bed. The employee stated that the area was but a few people were sitting in it. I questioned this and he stated «fine, I’m a liar then.» I did not respond, but it bothered me. A few minutes later a couple walked in and he seated them in the «closed» area. Soon after, 2 more groups were seated in the closed area. 15 minutes in, 9:15, we placed our order but did not receive drinks until 9:20. It took them 20 minutes to get us our drinks from the time we were seated. We received our food, 4 plates, at 9:50, 50 minutes from the time we arrived. The service was slow and the place wasn’t even busy. I will not be back. This is only the second time I have not left a tip during my lifetime. I’m 29 and pretty easy going, but I installed Unilocal on my phone just to get this one off of my chest. Nobody should be fired or anything, but something needs to change. Good luck.

I always pick Denny’s over the IHOP across the street… the service and the quality of the food is a lot better! Service is quick and the waiters are super nice here.

Unbelievable. We decided to go to this Denny’s to grab some celebratory ice cream for my nephew after his big soccer game. No drinks, no food. Just ice cream. We were seated almost immediately — not too surprising, since there wasn’t much of a crowd — and placed our orders after a few minutes.
We were then kept waiting for fifty minutes for our ice cream, which arrived melted and at different times! The only reason we didn’t leave was because the kids were determined to stay. Two thumbs way, way down.

This is my pit stop on my way to Vegas. I avoid the Denny’s in Barstow, as their prices seem higher.
My BFF and I leave the OC early to beat the traffic, and by the time we hit this Denny’s, its time for a break and breakfast.
Service is ok, but they haven’t messed up my food and that’s more important. The staff is friendly, and its freeway accessible. Bonus for me is when I flip a U-​turn to get back on the freeway, there’s a Sbux across the street for my «road» pick me up.
