El Pollo Loco

I have never given a 1 star review, congrats El Pollo for being the first. We placed a to go order, 2 shrimp avocado tacos, a poblano avocado burrito and a grilled chicken pineapple tostada. We knew something was wrong when they served everyone else after us. When we told them that we haven’t gotten our order yet, they realize they served our tacos to the wrong table. Instead of fixing our order immediately they went on to make other orders until slow enough for them to make our two extra tacos. Then they put them in the bag with our cold food. When we pointed out to them that we did not want cold food they looked at us like we were crazy so we asked for a refund. It still took them another 10 minutes to figure out how to issue a refund on the register, they never did. In the end they just took the $ 18 out of register and handed it to me. I ended up calling El Pollo Loco customer service to file a complaint and was told that a district manager will call me. I will update this review after that conversation.

Visited this location a few times. Its my dads fav location but a hit or miss for me usually. This time they were busy however, I received good customer service from Jennifer. My food was to go and it was ready fast, not pricy, n good! Juicy chicken, yummy sides …

I’m giving three stars to be neutral.
I went in with my mother, and we ordered some avocado quesadillas. We both decided to upgrade the the «meal» for «$ 1.00 more.» They charged us $ 1.50 more instead.
Long story short — the cashier spent five minutes trying to justify over-​charging me, because «That’s how the register rings it up!» I spent another ten minutes convincing her to «Stop over-​charging me, look at the prices on your menu, and do the math.» She FINALLY figured it out. I figured out that the prices weren’t worth the trouble.
I won’t go back, but go ahead and overpay for your chicken!

This El Pollo Loco used to be good. This time we went was later in the evening, so they were sure to serve us the chicken that had been cooked on the grill the longest. I practically had to dip my chicken in my glass of tea so I could eat it. It was just that dry. I will drive 15 minutes farther for Juan Pollo next time I am craving chicken.

El Pollo Loco is by far one of my favorite fast food places. It’s one of the few places you can go to and not feel totally guilty about. I normally get the pollo bowl which is a bowl with rice, beans, and grilled chicken. Delic! I also love their tostada salad. Beans, rice, lettuce, chicken, sour cream, and your choice of dressing. I put hot sauce on top and it’s sooo good! A must try here!

This was another great meal at El Pollo Loco.
I am obsessed with their new bowls, way better than a salad, tons of rice, breans, guac and oodles of cilantro, onions, salsas and the freshest, GREENEST (Do they dye them?!!) jalopenos you have ever seen.
All this for $ 5 I am happy.
For main street Hisperia its a really nice, newer location, great service, we have tried so many different things here and never dissapointed.

I was here last night and the food was great, partly because I was very hungry! But, the burrito I had was awesome, I got the #10 Chipotle Burrito! It was a tasty, not that spicy burrito. The flavor was great and the options they for salsa are good also if you don’t think the Chipotle sauce that’s included is not top notch for you!
The service was good! Especially when our order was ready, it was fast and efficient, everything was good. Their place is very clean and comfortable to!
The weather upthere is quite cold in the winter, so make sure you put on something warm when you go up there and eat!
I don’t usely recommend fat-​food places, but this chicken place is as option for me. I definitely recommend this place…

I really really like El Pollo Loco because they give alot of food for what ou pay and their BRC burritos are just that good, but as much as I love them I will not be going back for a long time because a piece of chicken got into my BRC and I got food poisoning from this one :(

Whenever I talk to my friends or family about what the «best» fast food joint is, they almost always say In-​N-​Out. And I never know why — because El Pollo Loco is clearly superior to anything that In-​N-​Out has to offer.
The food is always fresh, the ingredients delicious, and all of the workers at this branch run a very clean establishment.
When I’m in the mood for a quick meal in Hesperia, El Pollo Loco is always my first choice.
