This place was SUPER cute. The color schemes were very inviting and happy. You kind of feel like you’re a little kid. Speaking of kids, there is a huge blackboard for children to draw on w chalk. The whole place felt like a kindergarten classroom. The bright chairs, the décor, the colors… There was even a bulletin board for local businesses where they could leave flyers and advertisements/promos. It was hella awesome that they were playing music videos on the television screen! Old school 80s AND new kissfm jams. I LOVE how the yogurt cups were different!!! The flavors were typical… I’m a big«yogurtland» fan and everytime I go I head straight to the TART flavors… They only had 1 tarty flavor at the big swirl. It was AMAZING… Some kind of pomegranate. They had usual toppings. The hot fudge was tasty. I’m a sprinkles gal. They only had rainbow sprinkles no chocolate which was cool. I don’t mind. Not too many fruit choices. Just like 3. When it came down to the weigh in, idk how much they charge per ounce, but I know it’s a lot more than yogurt land. My gf and I, our yogurt came to ten dollars and something sense. At yogurtland I usually pay around $ 4 for the same yogurt and toppings. If you need to use the restroom, the cashier needs to open it up for you. This lady was cool. Good customer service and stuff. The restrooms were nice, clean, and fully stocked. Overall it’s a nice experience. Been wanting to try this place since I moved up here. It’s no yogurtland but I was not disappointed.

Great service most of the time and close to home. Most of the flavors I’ve tried were yummy and the toppings make it even better.

Well lets just say if I have too choose between a soft serve ice cream from McDonalds or The Big Swirl… hands down Big Swirl wins…“Welcome to the Big Swirl… What can I swirl for you?” Lol

Clean, fun, and sweet! We love our Big Swirl. The employees are always super friendly. I love that they change flavors frequently but still keep our favorites. Great place to stop and have a special treat!

Visited here for Happy Hour on a recent Wednesday. The frozen yogurt was tasty, the toppings were fun and the price was outstanding! Check out my full review at !

I’ve been there once, so my review might not be the most accurate. I really like the idea of filling up your cup: it makes you conscious of how much you’re putting in. Don’t become a fatty! The place had lots of windows and minimalist seating. Pretty open feel, and the interaction with the machines make you feel special, like you’re a frozen yogurt maestro. I didn’t have a cup, however. The super friendly guy at the counter suggested that I try a smoothie since I wasn’t in the mood for the flavors they had(I guess they rotate them?). I was 2 minutes past their happy hour, but he gave me a small percentage off anyways. I’m considering removing one star because the smoothie was pretty fracking cold and gave me brain freeze. :)

This place is OK, but I think tutti fruiti is better. It seems that this place has not much of a variety of flavors and most of the flavors, besides the vanilla and chocolate, are nasty. And they only offer one size cup. The toppings are okay, I wish that they put more fruit toppings.

Clean facility, the staff was friendly but at my time of visit a bit inattentive. Froyo flavors could use more variety. They had vanilla, cake batter and cheesecake which had very little difference in taste, then a cream flavor which was a tart version of the 3 mentioned. They also had 2 flavors that were out of service. Maybe I came on a slow day or the 2 out of service ones ran out during their«happy hour» which I must admit is a cool deal(50% off from open-4pm)

This place USED to be much better. What really disappointed me was the lack of fruit topping. They used to have fresh chopped pineapple. It’s summer time and there are only icy frozen mush strawberries, canned maraschino cherries and sad frozen pineapple. Disappointed. There’s usually only one person working hiding in the back.

Finally made it to the Big Swirl, I’ve driven by here a million times, but was never quite timed right for a froyo craving. The selection is great, about 10 flavors, two of which are sorbets which I always enjoy since my husband doesn’t like froyo. The girl working was nice, no sample cups though which is half the fun for my son. It’s clean and airy inside, pretty much like all the other froyo places. Very clean and the toppings were set up very nicely organized and labeled. I got a cup with a bit of each of the flavors, no toppings and it came to $ 3 which compaired to thers is about the same but in my opinion just too much for a cup with a couple squirts. Tastewise, they were all pretty darn good, no complaints, I’ll be back, more often if prices were about half that.

My Buddy took me here today, Variety of Yogurt Ice Cream, plenty of flavors, plenty of toppings, build your own. Weight it and pay for it. Not too pricey either and it was damn good!!!

Delish! Lots of flavors, and kept clean! A self-serve concept, similiar to Menchie’s and Uswirl. In a small town, this is a big city offering. Very nice, not terribly busy, and really refreshing yogurt. They have non-fat, low-fat, and sugar-free offerings. This is good for a yogurt fix… in fact, I can use some now!

The Good: 1. Self-serve –You can control how much yogurt and topping(s) you put into the cup. 2. Wide selection of toppings. 3. Wide variety of yogurt flavors.(We got vanilla, cake, and thin mint cookie, which got thumbs up from husband, kid, and I.) 4. Place has kid tables. 5. Dining area, counter tops, and bathrooms were clean. The Bad: 1. Only one cup size available — over-sized. This is designed to get the consumer to subconsciously fill the cup up to the brim and end up over paying since the price is based on the weight of the cup contents. Exercise caution! Update 8÷28÷2011: I had previously mentioned I couldn’t find their pricing information anywhere, but it got pointed out to me that it was actually listed on their register display. Went back and confirmed this. Realized that I missed this previously because I had first looked at register when the employee was weighing the cups and I was looking at the total ounces.

Visited this yogurt place a couple of times prior and had a good experience every time. A clean and easy to find location, with friendly service, are some of the good reasons to visit. Their frozen yogurt is of course similar to all other local competers and their pricing reasonable. Overall, it is a nice place for a quick frozen yogurt treat but pretty generic. 21choices your still my fave of flaves ;)

This place was great! I had a little cheesecake, pistachio, and cake batter flavored yogurt. I put a few toppings on which I could of done without but that was my mistake. Remember you pay by the ounce so don’t get carried away. I love how it’s self service. I can not eat very much so being able to get a few tastes that was awesome!

I frequent this place and have to say that the staff have always been friendly and helpful. Sure, they are typically teenagers just hanging out and not really doing much — since you do all the work yourself– but its always been pleasant. Its also a kid friendly place with a few short tables and chairs and cartoons often playing on their tv.

Oh me, oh my! When my mom came home with news that a self serve frozen yogurt place had opened in the high desert I was way too happy for my own good. I sped my little Suzuki over to Main St. and welcomed myself to my new home away from home of sorts. I’m a pretty big Yogurtland fan, but since I’ve moved out of Orange County, I’ve been dying to find a replacement, and The Big Swirl is my hero! I usually stick to the plain tart, and theirs is tasty. Not the best I’ve had, but satisfactory. They also have a nice variety of toppings(although they’re lacking in the department of red beans, lychee and jack fruit). But perhaps those items aren’t big in the desert(although they should be). Their interior was cute, and the employees were friendly. Watch out Big Swirl… I’ll be back again, and again.
