This Labor Day weekend, I didn’t have lots of time to catch some sun. When I did, the amount of sunshine was limited. I wasn’t giving up. I decided to continue my tan at High Voltage in Hewlett. I really enjoyed my experience at this salon. First off, the prices are GREAT! Where else could you get some tanning lotion and a 12 minute tan for under $ 20?!? The receptionist was so nice and helpful! She was completely honest and informative. I was skeptical to try a stand up bed. I was very pleased with the booth that she suggested. I liked that the fans were comfortable, and the music was loud enough to hear while tanning. So far I’m very pleased with the results and can’t wait to go back! Why not 5 stars? I still have to try the other beds and lotions :-P

The owner is super friendly and so nice, she goes out if her way to help you understand all of the equipment there and any other questions you might have, also she is really knowable with tanning and the pros about it as well. The tanning salon has four different kinds of beds there to choose from they range from 40 cents a bad to about 1 dollar. Another great thing is you do not pay the tax they do for you, which I think is pretty awesome. Come earlier or later on during the day it’s quiet and never a wait.

So when I am feeling pasty and begin to resemble CASPER the friendly ghost I believe its perfectly appropriate to go tanning. Likewise, after a vacation to maintain a tan. This is THE best tanning salon I ever been to(I’ve only been to 3. ever in my life) I’m no Snooki and a fan of fake baking but I wanted to keep my glow from my vacation. There are a surplus of rooms, the bulbs are always hot and I never wait more than 10 minutes. Sanitary rooms and you can walk in without an appointment. The staff is really nice(shout out to Christina). oh yeah best yet its CHEAP! I paid $ 10 for 12 minutes in the standup! They accept debit/credit cards. I have no complaints!
