The food is Nice but i think they should have more creativity and put some kind of air conditioning. It is imposible to be there. Extremely hot

100% complacido

Best cuban pizza I’ve had in years. The crust was really crispy and the cheese and sauce were really good. I asked for mine folded because it reminded me of how I used to eat them in Cuba.

Wow, wow, wow. As soon as I came in it smelled amazing so I had a feeling this was gonna turn out good but when I got my pizza is when I really fell in love. I felt like I was in Cuba for a second. She asked me if I wanted it folded or not, I had it folded and loved every minute of it. Overall I give this place nothing less than a 5 star plus rating! (They would make so much more money if they put more of these shops through out Miami dade, they’re simply amazing!)

Best Cuban Pizza EVER! Rey pizza? Polo Norte? Thats bullshit compared to this. Only complain I have is the location(waaaay too hot inside) but I always get the pizzas to-go so its okay! Keep going with this, just give it a few months and this is going to be the best«go to» for Cuban Pizza

5 stars for the pizza and staff. 1 stars for location. So will leave at 3 stars. Pizza was just as I remembered it growing up in varadero. Loved it! I asked for extra crispy ends, yum! Staff was nice and helpful. Cost was appropriate. My issue was with the location. It was a gazillion degrees inside. I went on a Friday at 7pm, and it was cooler outside than it was inside. I feel bad for people working there, having to endure that heat all day. Guess it goes with the Cuban theme? sucks! My grandma and I had to pull out heavy chairs to sit outside on sidewalk, because we couldn’t bare sitting inside. I guess it works for locals who can just take food to go. We live in west Kendall, and I wasn’t about to eat and drive OR let my awesome pizza cool. I wouldn’t make the 45 minute drive there again, but for anyone in the area, it’s a must try.

Very delicious pizza! The crust is the best part, for me, because it was extremely crispy compared to the inner dough which seemed undercooked. Since my husband’s and my pizza were like that ‘maybe’ that’s how it’s supposed to be.

I repeat, this is not frozen pizza dough. I repeat, this is not frozen pizza dough. You can tell in the taste alone. It’s quite delicious and yes, I did ask several times to be sure I heard her correctly. See, I wasn’t wearing my hearing aids. But, when she showed me where it’s made, it all made perfect sense. I «could» type here the entire history of Cuban Pizza but, to be honest, not even we know how/where it really originated in Cuba. The first time I even heard of Cuban Pizza was in the 80s. That’s when Rey’s Pizza and Montes de Oca started popping-up all around Miami-Dade County. Anyway; since, other places have come and gone serving Cuban Pizza in South Florida. Some don’t last very long and some have endured the test of time. Long story short, where each story you’ll hear agrees, is that it started in Varadero in Cuba. Where American Tourists were in search of pizza and, VOILA, the Cuban Pizza was born. Later coming to Miami via the Mariel Boat Lift. …and just when I thought I had already heard every story there is, I find this little restaurant in Seminola with yet another story. We’ll get to the Seminola part a little bit further down this story. For now, I noticed on their Facebook Page how everyone is eating the pizza folded like a taco. It seemed odd to me because one thing this pizza is known for is for the filling thick dough. Not here. I asked and, «si…así es como la comemos en Cuba… por eso la hacemos más finita.» Right-on, I didn’t even think there was pizza in Cuba under Castro. I love Cuban Pizza. I love it love it love it. Why? Because of the toppings we are known to put on pizza. Here, though, you won’t find all the outrageous Caribbean toppings we are known to add. None the less, this was a damn good pizza I had me here. If you’re a fan of Cuban Pizza, you will love it here. I mean, I repeat, this is not frozen pizza dough. Things to note and blah, blah, blahs: * Language here is español. * Parking — This is a small shopping center with its own parking. Some spaces are reserved for their neighbors. You«shouldn’t» have a problem finding a spot. * Although this business has been here a while, it is undergoing some minor improvements. Mostly, I was told, they will only focus on pizza. As of this Unilocal, they still have other food items on their wall that I was told they no longer make. * You’re going to have to check yourself if delivery is an option at that time. While I was here, their sign said they did but, there was no driver. * They are very active on Social Media. Facebook and Instagram, to be exact. Very useful information is posted on there which, made my first visit more enjoyable. * This restaurant appears larger in pictures. In reality, it is very tiny with limited seating. * A surprisingly very clean restaurant on the inside. I wanted to find a bread crumb or «something» lingering around… I really did. * Lest I forget, today I had a banana shake. Options on flavors are limited. This shake, I saw her make it, is not made from prefabricated powdered crap. Whole milk and all. It was freaking refreshing and delicious. * I repeat, this is not frozen pizza dough. I’m saying this over and over because when you taste it, you will know why it’s important. * This was almost a five star Unilocal. It’s obvious this business is in transition. Once that is completely tackled, yeah, five stars. Nothing major or worth mentioning to the masses at this time. Fun Facts: * When Hialeah Park was being built in the 1920s, all the workers that were used that were of African Descent lived here. The only place they were allowed to live. Just a few blocks, that back then were in the middle of the Everglades. Those few blocks were named, Seminola. Smaller today in size and mostly Hispanic, though. Some of the names used at most of the sites there retain their African-American History. For example, Cotson Park and the churches still standing there. Look it up. It’s an interesting read about Hialeah. * Up until the 1990s, more or less, Seminola was«the place» to buy premium Crack. Most of those houses have been torn down and newer homes and apartment buildings have been erected in their place. What you see here today is not the Seminola that we avoided going into at all costs while I was growing-up. * The«PA» used in their name is slang in español for the word«para» which can be used to mean either«for» or «to.» In this case, «Pa Comer» means«To eat» or, «for eating.» This is mostly used by My Peoples, los cubanos, that are known to speak horrible Spanish throughout the Hispanic World. Please Note: I am going to add the business hours on Unilocal, which, they are currently closed on Sundays. As per a brief conversation online and now in person, that is expected to change in the near future. Special THANKS to Hialeah’s finest for telling me about this business.
