Publix Super Markets

I went to Publix to pick up a few groceries when I noticed that their cranberry/​orange turkey sub is back! Chris at the deli had a huge smile on his face and made me one or the best subs I’ve ever had, I can’t say enough things about this location.

I come here quite often. Very often, I’ll tell you why. The Deli!!! Boar Head fanatic here.
I love there deli selection of cheese’s, ham’s, turkey, chicken etc. Smoked Gouda Cheese is the best! Also there Salsalito Turkey or Jerk Chicken the Bomb!!!
I am also a big fan of there bakery. There bread selection is very large. Come early by ends day it’s just about gone. There Keizer rolls are very good. Along with the cheese bread and wheat buns for burgers or sandwich slice.
The entire store is well staffed and provide friendly service. There fruit and veggie section is about average and they pump out fresh product all the time. I do believe there meat section doesn’t provide the amount of steaks or poultry I would like. I always struggle to find turkey filets or tenderloin. Typically there rib-​eye or new york strip is very big in size and on the wallet, but its worth it.
Good selection if wines as well. Especially from California and Spain. They also have several buy one get one free specials just about all the time. At times I believe they should also have a few more registers open. Especially express lanes since most people just pick up a few things and go.

This Publix is right around the corner from my house. I have been going for years and have never ever had bad service. The employees are very pleasant and friendly. They all speak English and Spanish due to the Hispanic dominated area demographic. I walk in and I feel comfortable enough to act like I own the place and as if they are all part of my family.
There’s a great selection of Organics throughout the store that usually always beats Wholefoods pricing. Plus, there is no shortage Central and South American ethic foods, which is a plus.
Since this an older Publix Supermarket the interior does need some refreshing in décor, but it is still very clean and well organized.

Pretty much your standard Publix. Love the Hispanic product selection and the nice people. Always nice to say hello to someone and they call you things like «mi cielo, mi vida, etc» in Spanish without even knowing you.

I have been a customer of this Publix since 1990, to me it is the best. The same people that I have known for years still work here and they know me by name. The Deli is incredible they have such a large selection of cheeses and wines to go with it! So, every time I have a gathering it is Publix where I go to do my shopping!

Great place good friendly staff, but its a little more priced than target and we all hate Walmart lines, but ! Nothing compares to publix subs ! The best there is.

This Publix is really clean and the staff is super nice. The only negative is that the line at the deli can take forever but I try to go at weird times to avoid this problem.

Almost forgot to recommend Publix’s ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS Tiramisu. Yes, their own homemade. Que cosa mas ricaaaaa.
Yes, it’s sweet, really sweet. It’s not meant to be scarfed down like the ever-​so-​popular Publix cake. It’s delicate. You take two bites and you’re done for the day.
And how could I forget the ONE DOLLAR SHOWER CURTAINS! It’s a dream come true for a New Yorker with roommates. At one dollar a curtain, I don’t have to shower in everyone’s collective scum. We’re changing them monthly — keeps the bathroom fresh and clean.

My BFF, Annelise, basically lives at this Publix. That is, when she’s actually living in MIAMI. She even has a Publix boyfriend. But I digress and she probably will kill me when she reads this.
Anyways… AWESOME Publix. Clean, friendly staff, and there’s a Blockbuster machine-​thingy that is pretty cool. $ 1 for one day rentals.
