We had looked at an offer online for cell phone service from Sprint which was really good. Went into Best Buy to get more information and was told by an associate that we could do a 2-year contract for the price we had seen online. The associate even called her Sprint rep to verify this information. We made 3 trips to Best Buy and spent almost 2 hours questioning the ins and outs of this deal, but on our third trip in we were told we couldn’t do it. The manager was extremely rude, even interrupting our conversation with the sales associate to inquire about something the sales rep had purchased at Dick’s Sporting Goods. I could not believe the audacity of the man, and then learned that he was the manager. Really feel that nobody knows anything about the services that they offer as far as cell phones are concerned. Take your business elsewhere where you can find someone who is at least knowledgeable about the products.

What ever happened to customer service. This Best Buy has officially went to one star. Needed help no one really wants to help at all. You just lost a customer that more than has spent thousands of dollars over the past few years. Anyone that knows me «knows» when I am unsatisfied you get three strikes. Well tonight this store just got two in a row. One more chance and you are dead to me!!! «in the words of Mr. Wonderful.

First time at the Hickory Best Buy. Very impressed. Sales Person was helpful and knowledgeable on the products in his area. He did a good job upselling but I am very pleased with my the item I bought. Good value, friendly service and will be back

They don’t deserve the one star. The lady working the so called«Customer Service“desk is anything BUT helpful. Snotty attitude and suggested if we had a problem we should look for answers on line. Guess she was there for looks(still out of her skill set) Went to Sam’s purchased. the devices in 5 min and the representative actually smiled!

Some of these other reviews are HILARIOUS! Thanks fellow Unilocalers… I needed that good laugh! My own experiences have not been to that extreme. This location has had friendly and helpful enough service, and fair selections(less than larger locations). I’m grateful to have the ability to «shop local,» sometimes, but I go in, with the bar set a little lower. Looking forward to more Unilocaler entertainment, with other reviewers thoughts!

I came into Best Buy today because my iPhone 6 is not working correctly, I am still within my 14 day return period so I wanted to switch for another device. I explained that the phone is constantly freezing and I am having to uninstall and reinstall apps to unfreeze the screen. The employee held my phone for 30 seconds and ran through one app and then proceeded to tell me that nothing was wrong with my phone! And said they would not switch it out for another device. When I purchased these phones they told us that is we didn’t like anything about them, they would easily replace them within 2 weeks. This employee is saying they will not because nothing is wrong with it. After she spoke with the manager and he/she told her to replace it then she tells me it doesn’t matter anyway because there aren’t any in stock and the nearest one is 4 hours away at another Best Buy. Absolutely horrible customer service!

I wish I could give this store 0 stars. Everytime I’m there it’s like pulling teeth to find anyone to help. All I wanted was a Vizio sound bar that was highly rated in the Consumer Reports Buying Guide for 2014. I had my consumer reports with me. They had the item I wanted but it wasn’t hooked up to listen to. Then the sales associate tried to sell me another sound bar which I told him I wasn’t interested in. When he persisted, I showed him in my Consumer Reports that his suggested product had rated very low in reviews. Following that, I proceeded to check out which was made into a tedious process because he kept trying to enter my info in certain places and my husband’s info in other places. The last time I shopped at Best Buy, I was equally disappointed.

I visited Best Buy to see if the new Playstation 4’s had already dropped. It happens tonight at 12:01 A.M. Four people were already camped out in front of the building at 1:00 P.M. I imagine that the entire US stock will be sold by 12:30 A.M. — hundreds of millions of dollars worth. I like Best Buy’s diverse selection of electronic goods — and that’s worth one star. That’s ALL that Best Buy has going for them, period, end of story, full stop. Best Buy in Hickory sets the standard for customer service — BAD customer service. I’ve been coming here(infrequently) since this store opened, and I’ve never had the first employee offer to help me find anything. The US government should just forget about hiding people in the witness protection program, and take confidential informers to Best Buy where they would remain totally innocuous. It would save taxpayers hundreds of millions per year. I was greeted at the door by a yellow shirted, disheveled dude, who said«hello.» Twenty minutes later I was greeting by the same fellow, who said, «good-bye.» That was my total interaction with store employees. There were lots of employees walking around at high speed, but they weren’t helping anyone. «Have a nice day!» One fat, bald, 80 I.Q., Cro-Magnon looking manager gave me the stink eye as I was leaving, but he broke gaze when I didn’t look away. He didn’t ask if I needed any help, he just kept walking. I guess customer service is not a priority at this franchise location. I heard another customer talking on the phone, saying«I’ll try to find someone!» How does this store stay open? Beats the heck out of me. I’ll take my business elsewhere, where it is appreciated. This is why so many people shop at , and Target, and Wal*Mart.

If I could give it zero stars I would because that is the amount of customer service i received here. I had picked out a specific tv online that I wanted and went to the store to buy it. After 10 minutes found the tv I had wanted, there was no display set up for it and no pricing tag with it. After another 20 minutes of being in the department and walking around couldn’t find a single employee for help and the only time any employee said anything was upon my leaving the store the taking my business else where. Wasted my time, they want to believe they are the top notch electronic store, well maybe that is only because of their lack of competition, I’d rather go someplace else and pay a few bucks more than deal with this Best Buy again.
