Buffalo Wild Wings

I had the worst customer service from the hostesses I also have to feel bad for all the male servers that work especially mine that I had he had a good positive attitude but its hard for him to make money whenever the kitchen and the managing staff don’t work as a team overall — 30 minutes for our appetizer only be positive reason I can say about this season is my server don’t know his name but he made the experience as best as he could. Food was okay

Wings are good but Service leaves much to be desired.
Several of us were out viewing the fall leaves and decided to give the Buffalo Wild Wings in Hickory a try.
Turned out to be a mistake. Granted the wings were good and everyone got what they ordered be they traditional or boneless, parmeasan galic or medium sauce and they were good.
Problem came with everything else. For those who ordered Sweet Tea, it wasn’t. Not sure what the Blue Cheese Dressing was supposed to be but it was not Blue Cheese. One of our party asked for a to go box and when the boxes were brought over by the server, the server volunteered that she would go get a bag to put them into. We waited and finally ended up walking our of the restaurant with an armful.
Ambiance is typical sports bar but a bit on the loud side.
While the wings are good, everything else needs work so I can not recommend to anyone at this time. Will give them another shot in a couple of months to see if there is any improvement.

Multiple mistakes in the order and the food took forever when there was barely anyone there. Also too many tvs/​radios playing different things loudly makes it impossible to hear anything.

I’d never go there again.
Three separate occasions I and one or two friends have come to eat here. Every single time the service was horrible. It wasn’t crazy busy on any of these occasions. The first time I waited over half an hour just for someone to bring me my drink. This being after I visited the bar 3 times to tell them no one had taken or order. The next time was a lot like the first. Today my boyfriend and I, after debating if we should or not, decided to try one more time to go. It was instantly a fail. I literally walked in stood at the hostess podium for a few minutes watching associates walk by and look at me. A lady then approached the podium, asked me how I was doing, I told her I was doing fine then I proceeded to ask her what the wait time was. She looked at me and said, «We’re just now getting some tables cleared off.» She then walked away. I looked across the restaurant and could see 10 or more clear tables. I turned around and walked right out. No one ever seated me. Honestly they don’t even deserve 1 star.

It’s just your average large chain wing restaurant. If you’ve never been to a Buffalo Wild Wings before, it’s pretty much half bar, half large seating area with some outdoor seating with tons of tv’s around the building.
The wings here are pretty great. I typically get a small, boneless Asian zing flavor. Very fast service and quality food. I come here often.

I love their wings! Amazing hot sauces & perfectly cooked wings. The wait is long and service is usually slow (especially on weekends at night time around 9 – 12) but there is always a full house with many customers so it’s understandable. You don’t really notice the wait because it’s a great atmosphere. The waitresses are generally nice, I haven’t had a problem with any of them. They bring refills when they notice your drink is low. I love the lemonades! Takes a while to get because they have to be made, but they’re delicious!

Stopped here for dinner before a dance competition. We were seated right away, but then waited for a while before anyone came to get our drink order. The manager, Holly, happened to see me looking around & walked right over and asked for our drink & appetizer order. She stepped right in, handled our dinner order, and about 5 min after our food arrived, we were greeted by a server whose shift had just begun.
I’ve been to many places during shift change, and I have never seen a manager handle short-​staffing so well. Amazing!
On top of that, our food came out quick, hot & the wings were HUGE!
We have been to several BWW’s around NC, and this was truely the best experience I’ve ever had at one. We’ll be back then next time dance competition brings us back to town!

My boyfriend and I went here the other day and were not happy with our experience. Our waitress was nice which was really the only plus about this place. Our food arrived very slowly and once we did get it, it wasn’t worth the wait. Not to mention the fact that our appetizer came at the same exact time that our food did. Surely they must know the definition of «appetizer.» The appetizer which, by the way, was watery and quite gross. I’m a huge chicken wing fan and these wings definitely disappoint. The best part of our meal was the vegetables that came with the wings. Seriously. Boyfriend ordered a beer for which they didn’t have an orange slice. Really? The icing on the cake … we politely asked our waitress to put on the basketball game (rather than watching the MLB Network in the middle of December), and she told us that she would go ask them to change it. She came by a couple of times after we had asked to reassure us that she had passed the message on. By the time we walked out of there, the basketball game still wasn’t on. Overall, just a bad experience here. Only giving two stars for the fact that the waitress was nice and the sweet tea was good. Definitely not going back here. We’ll head over to East Coast Wings next time.
