The restaurant manager was co-manning the drive-thru window tonight at 9:00 p.m. I ordered a small #2 combo, a Wendy’s Classic Double Cheeseburger. This comes with a small fry and a regular sized soda. The price was $ 7.48 if I remember correctly. The young lady working at the drive-thru was polite and professional, and my order was taken quickly and efficiently. The drive-thru speaker was adequately loud and extremely clear. I probably wasn’t at the speaker more than thirty seconds. The driver of the Cadillac in front of me only had to wait briefly for his food, so I was at the drive-thru window in a jiffy. The male manager was EXTREMELY professional in both appearance and attitude. I paid with exact change, and I was handed my food and drink in less than thirty seconds. The double cheeseburger was freshly made! It could have served as the online corporate photo for their sandwich. WOW! When Wendy’s burgers are prepared correctly they are very tasty, and that proved to be the case with my burger. It was as delicious(or more so) than a Five Guys burger. I really enjoyed it! The fries were hot, but could have used a sprinkling of salt right out of the fryer — not a big deal really.(I probably don’t need the extra sodium in my diet.) While no fast food restaurant’s fries are as good as McDonald’s, these were a close second. All in all, I was happy to see that my nearest Wendy’s franchise location has again returned to the excellent standards exemplified by the founder, Dave Thomas. Restaurants have ups and downs depending on how effective their management is at the time. At this moment, this franchise location is on top of their A game. Thank you for that. Now I don’t have to drive all the way across town for a good burger.

Great experience at this Wendy’s location for lunch. Friendly and courteous staff, burger prepared. Staff was cleaning each table after each customer left.

This applies to all Wendy’s. They used to be good, back before they jumped into bed with Arby’s. I don’t know what is in the burgers, but it cannot be all beef. The fries used to be worth a visit, but that is even down the crapper with the tator flavored salt-licks they now serve. I’m sorry Wendy, but you have been dumped.

For the most part, I enjoy Wendy’s food. The one suggestion that I would make to them, is to ease up on the salt for their fries. The service wasn’t that bad, I really didn’t wait long at all. But while I was sitting, I noticed people entering Wendy’s. Now once you received your order you were forced to walk around their gated waiting line. And as you walked around the gate, your led to walk directly past the entrance door. People were entering the restaurant while you walk to your table and the food was exposed under their noses, it left me with an uncomfortable feeling watching strangers run into you while your food is exposed to those nostrils. Don’t get me wrong, it’s fast food and not a «highfalutin» establishment, but that part left me feeling unnerved about fast food establishments and eating out all together.

I like Wendy’s food. I HATE Wendy’s customer service and its the same in every Wendy’s. They are 2 things that need changing ASAP to improve customer service. 1. Both cash registers need to be open and two people need to be taking orders if more than 5 or 6 people or in line, but no matter how many people are in line only one person will be taking orders. I stopped at this Wendy’s to grab a bite while I was out Christmas Shopping. AT1:40 pm the line is almost out into the seating area. The manager is hollering«We have a line, We need to get this line down» and I’m thinking to myself, Honey unless you open that second register, it aint gonna happen which of course they did’nt. Stood in line almost 20 minutes before placing my order. So much for«fast» food! 2. Wendy’s is the only fast food place I know of that does not have at least one or two drink refill stations in the eating area. Its a real pain in the butt to have to go up to the front of the line and stand there with your cup in your hand untill someone finally has time and offers you a refill. Whats wrong Wendy’s, afraid someone will steal 2 cents worth of Coke?
