Called with a coupon for a free tire rotation. Mentioned the coupon and made the appointment with the owner. When I arrived, I misplaced the coupon. Owner says no problem, oil change and tire rotation, right? No, just the rotation. Not possible he says, he would never advertise that. I have to pay for the oil change first. I reminded him that explicitly mentioned the coupon at the time I called. THEN, ah ha… I go back to the car, find the coupon, which clearly stated FREE TIRE ROTATION, no purchase necessary. I show the owner and he comes back with «I don’t have to serve you, and I choose not to serve you, goodbye». Hey, I understand about trying to make it as a business, but don’t lie to and cheat your customers, or treat us like garbage. Clear case of false advertising. You did this in front of my 10 y/​o daughter. Talk about ethics. You should be ashamed of yourself. I’m ashamed that you are using the name «Highland Park» in your business. Hate to see someone give my great town a bad name.

Called up for a quote on a spark plug change on a 4 cylinder vehicle. CARX quoted me $ 99 already so if it was anywhere close I would have gone here. They quoted me $ 200 on changing out 4 spark plugs. This place is a ripoff! Don’t go here for anything other than maybe an oilchange. I like supporting local businesses that stand for hard work and good customer service. I did not get the feeling from the lady that I talked to on the phone where customer service is valued at this establishment.

I went to this place when I moved to, Highland Park, in 2005. Until last year it was a, CarX. Then it changed names. Since then it has gotten drastically harder to even get an oil change.
Yesterday I decided that after a decade I would stop going here.
The young woman who answers the phone is very rude and has NO understanding of customer service. I regret having to take my business elsewhere but I must go where I am appreciated.
Turning away a customer who has been loyal for a decade is never a good thing. I spent thousands of dollars at this shop. But I guess that they no longer want or need my business. I used to suggest and refer this shop to others. I will NEVER do that again!
The owner should understand why I am taking my business elsewhere. I will NOT tolerate his Daughter’s rudeness any longer!

If you have been ever driving in the suburbs and needed a headlight repair, Sandi and her team were quick, convenient and only $ 20.00 to replace my headlight which they had in stock. Yes, I was lucky but I know other places straight down the street charge much more more!
