Using JK Designs was a big mistake. We were fooled by the enthusiasm and promises initially made by both Dean and Josh. Dean tried to substitute much cheaper and smaller plants and flowers for the ones we chose and paid for. After Josh took over for Dean, we thought the problems might get solved. However, as the other reviewers noted, Josh is a complete flake. He does not show up when he promises to, and he always comes up with a bizarre excuse for why it wasn’t his fault. When he did have workers show up, they usually did poor work that we had to pay our weekly landscaper extra to fix for us. After trying to work with him for several months, Josh decided to walk off the job without finishing. Needless to say, his«warranty» is worthless.

I agree completely with Mike D.‘s review… had the exact same experience with Dean. Dean showed up the first time and then that was it. funny he was“sick” also, then never bothered to show up when he claimed he would with his«plans» after I called several times. No phone calls ever returned. How this place stays in business is beyond me. Wouldn’t even give 1 star

Doing business with JK design was a real pleasure: they even went beyond the proposal in order to make the project(front lawn landscape) look really great. Josh Kien, the owner, really knows his trade and is really passionate about what he does. Dean, his partner stopped by during the work to be sure all was going according to plans. Call JK design for your landscaping project!

Do not waste your time getting a bid from this company. Josh will show up, pretend like he is super passionate about your project and then fall off the face of the earth. He will likely tell you he is «sick» and plans to follow up when he gets better-but this is all a load of manure. I’m sure my project was not quite as lucrative or profitable as others, but at least have the decency to follow up with an email or phone call. Very poor business etiquette. JK design might stand for Just Kidding, as in, just kidding, I’m not really interested in your business.
